First listen and I’m not impressed. I was right to be sceptical when I saw Mabel was involved, it’s just bland like most her other dance collabs have been so far.

looking at the song credits, it includes Jess Glynne
so pretty sure this was supposed to be a Joel Corry x Jess Glynne collaboration and given to Mabel when Jess Glynne rejected it thinking about it, even Mabel sounds a bit like Jess Glynne in here |

I love Joel Corry but wasn't sure about the Mabel feature.
It's a good song though. I think Out Out was quite different to what he has done before, but the backing track on this actually reminds me of Head and Heart (whilst being nowhere near as good). Catchy bop which will be another easy hit. |

#26 in the chart update (#22 without Halloween songs, but this would still be a lower debut than his last three singles)
I think you may be right ^ could very well be his first to miss the top 10 if it doesn't get there before December. |

Debuts at #23 today. Not a terrible start, but certainly a lot lower than previous efforts. When Out Out is still in the Top 10, it suggests that this was released a little too soon.

Yeah... released far too soon when Out Out is still Top 10.
I wonder if its so he has a dance hit for Christmas parties and such, but again I think Out Out will more likely tick that box. |

I think it'll hold up with all the Christmas parties and such. The release was timed well also, as it should avoid ACR just after Christmas.
