In Hotter Than Hell, Dua sings a weird screech sound at the start of the world 'Hell'. Not criticising I like the way she sings it and it is rather different. smile.gif

I remember in Katy Perry Wide Awake I remember there was a weird croaking sound at the O of the word 'from'. Again I am not criticising, it was a good song too.

Any other words sung in an unusual/different manner that you have heard in songs?

Haha, I always loved that because it's how I pronounce it and hardly any singers pronounce it like that in their songs!

Plus her British accent in 'Work Bitch' and 'Scream and Shout'!

Also, JT's "may".

The way Ellie Goulding bahhhs the song's title like a sheep in 'Army', I've never been able to take that song seriously because of it.

I recall one such instance of James Morrison deliberately singing with a 'frog in his throat.'

James Morrison – Please Don't Stop The Rain

I'm not a fan of what he does here, it happens throughout the song, but most notable between seconds 1:26 and 1:34.

Every time I hear it it makes me want to clear my throat! puke.gif

Wow you do come up with some bizarre topics laugh.gif they make me laugh tho!

My all time favourite is that spell where in every popular R&B song the singer would pronounce "everybody" as "URRRbody" (e.g. Don't Wanna Go Home, Cheers (Drink To That) etc...)

That's certainly not odd for us posh Londoners! tongue.gif

Daisy Dares You - Number One Enemy - should be called Number One Anime to match her pronunciation more (or Number WAHN Anime).
