TBF, Simon always has! It's his team that mishandled her. I'd also argue he owes a hell of a lot to her too coz I really don't think X Factor or Got Talent would exist without her win and success, imo.

Always good to have Leona back on TV. She really is just a gorgeous soul. You can’t help but notice the difference in her voice since the Glassheart era, she still has a gorgeous tone but no where near the same control which is sad as she does always seem like she’s holding back (I presume she had to on this performance)

Would love to just hear her smash out those big ballads like she used to. Often find myself watching her live performances after a few too many wines and she still astounds me.

I think she was holding back and letting the performance be more about Kodi.

She always tends to do that though it’s nice she doesn’t do a Nicole Scherzinger and make it like a The Voice Battle laugh.gif

While the Leona drought continues we at least got a few snippets from a performance she did last week in Jakarta, Indonesia. She performed The Prayer, You Are The Reason, A Moment Like This, Somewhere Over The Rainbow and Bleeding Love.

I actually think Echo is her best album (well I’d say it’s more consistent) but Spirit is a special album and it’s success was incredible. Broke so many records at the time and to think Spirit did that and they were still so many potential singles to push as well. Mind blowing.

I’d say Spirit has higher highs but Echo is more consistent and doesn’t have any skips so it probably balances it out.

Echo really deserved better for a 2 single era it done pretty well but the two singles pushed done no justice for how strong the album actually was.

I definitely prefer Echo to Spirit, but I'm more shocked to read that Spirit has outsold 19 this century! Is it close?
