Welcome to Round 18 of Lady Gaga's Least Fave singles poll and the latest one to drop is a big one...in fact its the one that started it all Just Dance, released all the way back in April 2008 & while it staked Gaga's claim on the mainstream charts, it took quite a while to get there as producers Akon & RedOne had to fight to get the song’s unique (at the time), four-on-the-floor production on popular station airwaves. But it found its footing in gay clubs in New York and San Francisco, and eventually bounded up the charts almost a year later & since then has gained tons of support, adoration & legions of fans, this would be the beginning of a true icon & a brand new era of music. Looking back its still a very decent song - an irresistibly energetic slice of electropop about enjoying yourself – is 11 years old? And while Akon’s verses sound scarily dated, hers do not. While its not her most distinctive song,most would be hard-pressed to slate this straightforward club banger. Again every song apart from 'Bad Romance' got votes (interesting), 'Telephone' again survived with the 2nd highest amount of votes with 6, 'Alejandro' picks up more votes with 5, while both 'Poker Face' & 'The Edge of Glory' both got 3 & finally 'Paparazzi' got 1. Just 6 left now, same rules apply just vote for your least fave and the one with the most will be gone by the next round which will sometime next week... Results so Far: 7. Just Dance = 9/33.33% 8.
