But I think FARC, Aeroche and FSR Rontvia are going to put up fights. The latter I admittedly didn't have down as a contender until I read this thread (oops) and seemingly everyone placing it high and usually that kinda thing is hard to ignore. D'yermak'er I'm still predicting as underdogs and putting up there for some reason. Sorry everyone. A shame y'all slept on my entry tbh. THE CHORUS .

I'll just stick around and do some more damage Joined: 14 February 2009 Posts: 115,040 User: 8,300	I really don't get big hit vibes from FSR (I like it more than some if not most of the other contenders so that's not shading the song!) although admittedly there have been enough people independently bringing it up as a contender that there's probably a good chance I'm wrong. Leaning towards Bøtanikkä winning ~ may or may not bash out some quick last minute odds some time today.

Out of the others, Farc I would have called blind but I'm not certain on it now given muted reactions, New Lexico and Altyr I wouldn't have called blind, my instincts on both were 'secondary pop hits that finish from 8th-18th'.

Clearly we can't ignore the buzz around our own entry, leading to a flurry of local support at RontBet in the last couple of days - when I first heard Lights I thought it sounded like something potentially very special indeed, but then my hopes for it to smash hard went out the window a bit when I heard this month's immense competition. If it could live up to my initial thoughts then I'd be elated, but I'm not really expecting anything above 5th. Cam obviously did extremely well last time and this is just as good and will also obviously stir the dance bloc into the mix too with the Avicii production. Cor Lupus sounds way bigger than Cicciolina from a BJSC perspective with the ABBA-esque vibes. New Lexico and Altyr both just sound primed to smash and could easily take it. D'yermak'er has some Midnight Kids vibes to it so I could see that as a 'dark horse' while FARC is maybe partly wishful thinking but I hope it does finish this high - or higher - what a beauty! Terra Avium will get such a lot of the non pop support, and if things go that way this month I also consider it to have a good chance. I like everything here and so many in the bottom half deserve so much better than this, so I hope some can surprise.
