"Desperado" is #1 on the Billboard Club Dance Songs (?) Chart this week, Rih's fifth of 2017 (a record for one artist in a calendar year) and seventh from 'ANTI' (a record number to be taken from one album). Queen!

The Recording Industry Association of America recently published that Rihanna is the #1 top certified artist for digital songs with 124 million 'song awards' (?) across 44 separate songs. They also gave her new certifications for all of her albums (excluding 'Music of the Sun'). 'A Girl Like Me' and 'Rated R' are now 2x Platinum; 'Loud', 'Talk That Talk', 'Unapologetic' and 'Anti' are now 3x Platinum and 'Good Girl Gone Bad' is now 6x Platinum.

Also we have new certifications for "Love on the Brain" (3x Platinum), "Stay" (7x Platinum), "Love the Way You Lie" (12x Platinum!), "What Now" (Platinum) and "Desperado" which has gone Platinum despite not charting on the Hot 100!

"S&M" is now certified 5x Platinum (5,000,000) by the RIAA biggrin.gif

It becomes her 11th song to earn a 5xP certification (as a lead artist), more than any other act in history.

Good Girl Gone Bad - 99 weeks (pls rechart bc that’s just unsettling for the eyes)

(And wait for it!......)

ANTI - 214 weeks (well over double her album with second most weeks!!!!).

She's in fact the only female to achieve this this century, not sure about male artists.

That’s brilliant news!

Any mods on here got any updated figures now on her US album sales for all her eras. Be interesting to see how they compare with the UK sales she has and what eras were bigger were etc.

Music of the sun definitely appears to be her lowest seller in both territories though.
