KYLIE MINOGUE | NEW ALBUM REUNITES POP PRINCESS WITH MUSHROOM GROUP IN AUSTRALIA

Thirty years on since first signing to Mushroom Records in 1987, Australia’s premier pop artist Kylie Minogue is set to return home to the Mushroom Group Labels for the Australia and New Zealand release of her new album.

Following her worldwide signing with BMG announced in February, BMG has agreed a deal whereby Kylie’s highly-anticipated album will be released in Australia and New Zealand through Mushroom Group label Liberator Music.

BMG EVP International Artists Alistair Norbury said, “We are delighted to partner with Mushroom for what will undoubtedly be one of the pop highlights of 2018.”

Despite departing the label side of the Group in 1998 with the sale of Mushroom Records, Kylie has had a constant connection with Michael Gudinski’s Mushroom Group, with countless sold out tours with international touring arm Frontier Touring, music publishing with Mushroom Publishing and merchandising with Love Police ATM.

To date Kylie has sold over 80 million records worldwide, fifteen Top 10 albums and ten #1 singles in Australia while over in New Zealand she has secured four Top 10 albums and eleven Top 10 singles.

Her return to the label side of the Group has understandably generated a great deal of excitement for Mushroom Group Chairman Michael Gudinski:

“Kylie is simply a superstar. She has repeatedly lifted the bar for pop performers worldwide and I’m incredibly excited to have her releasing music again via the Mushroom Group. She’s family to us and it’s great to have her back home again.”

Stay tuned for news on Kylie’s forthcoming album.

So excited this appears to be so close now! From what I understand: the video for the single is being filmed this month, we're getting the single in January and the album in March.

I hope she doesn't keep leaving it 4 years between albums!
