The five songs listed are the first releases from each of the girls away from Girls Aloud.
All 5 tracks are extremely varied and different.
Which from the five songs do you like the most?

Threads is the best song of the 5 with Like U Like second.

I would place them the following:

01 Sarah - Threads
02 Kimberley - Like U like
03 Nadine - Insatiable
04 Nicola - Beat of my Drum
05 Cheryl - Heartbreaker

Nicola ! I think she could have had a big hit if one of her many other fine tracks had been lead single though.

This poll is a mess.

Surely 'Fight For This Love' is Cheryl's debut single?

Heartbreaker for Cheryl is equivalent to Melanie C - When You're Gone, Emma Bunton - What I Am, Victoria Beckham - Out of Your Mind. The very first single release they're involved with in a solo capacity, rather than the full blown "debut single" to launch an album.

Team 'Insatiable'! Pleasantly surprised to see 'Threads' avoiding last so far, but then again 'Like U Like' was pretty dire... kink.gif

I understand it's the first thing she did solo and appears first in her chart history, but she has like two background words in it and I always think of FFTL as the debut.

Cheryl had little input but it is still marked as her first release outside Girls Aloud which is why it is selected for the poll.

Oh come on, it's Nicola hands down. 'Beat Of My Drum' was such a bold statement of intent, everything a good unapologetic pop single needs to be!

Has to be Cheryl. The rest are dreadful, particularly Nicolas - that is just a monstrosity if a song!

Nicolas dance to the beat of my drum is the best out of those, but would be FFTL if it were included

1. Beat of My Drum - a comfortable win. One of the best songs of 2011!
2. Insatiable - I do really like this but I think Nadine's capable of better sad.gif
3. Threads - whacky and barmy and I love it for being Sarah through and through. Was never gonna be a hit but I've got time for it.
4. Like U Like - OK I suppose?
5. Heartbreaker - never been big on this. If it were Fight For This Love, Cheryl would be at the top!
