Exactly, that's why J Hus makes more sense than Bieber whose song isn't out for another week, and there's no reason to suggest there won't be a new playlist as usual next Friday...!

I assume the past two week are affected by this because they play a lot of seasonal songs in the week before Xmas but that's why they stall a lot of tracks they will A List into the new year proper on the B List such as Roxanne, Saturday, Is This Love & Falling.

I'd assume it is just J Hus again but it would be a little weird for him to take up 2 playlist slots when double slots are usually just counted as one. It might be something from the JACKBOYS EP?

Also his last single was a relative flop and I didn't realise he was an instant add A List artists at this stage of his era.

We’ve had 2 Early Breakfast Shows now and whatever the TBC song is still hasn’t been played. Considering A List songs get 4-5 spins a day it’s surprising it hasn’t been played yet

It actually seems like the early breakfast shows are playing tracks from the playlist 2 weeks ago laugh.gif i guess they've not scheduled the new playlist until next week.

Can we count LadBaby though? It’s a novelty song with a week’s high promotion for its purpose of delivering the Xmas #1 and Ellie is a Christmas song which Radio 1 don’t playlist.

Well, I’ve had a brief run through of tracks played over the last couple of days and I genuinely think the TBC listing was a mistake, can’t see anything that’s been played regularly that’s not on this week’s playlist

The only thing that would make sense is that there's no playlist update tomorrow and the TBC is Bieber - as some have suggested. But I have no idea why they'd do that. We'll find out in the morning anyway.
