I thought would be cool to do a poll on the various duets / features the girls have been part of over the years. Vote your favourite and comment below:

For me, it's easily Mel C & Left Eye. Lisa embodied the song perfectly with her verse. It still surprises me Virgin pushed I Turn To You in the US as opposed to NBTSA, it would've faired far better imo.

God, some actually terrible songs in there LOL

I went for I Want You Back as it is an amazing song, and a stunning solo debut!

I didn’t vote oops!

NBTSA remains my favourite although when you’re gone is dangerously close these days utterly love that one.

Virgin didn’t really push ITTY it caught on with club DJs on its own I believe. Melanie was supposedly annoyed that they didn’t take advantage of it going to #1 on the dance chart and push it over there. I agree though NBTSA seemed perfect for that market.

Also surprised when you’re gone was never released over there with Bryan being a fairly big name too and the song being pretty much perfect for US radio. I want you back should have gotten a release too!

This is interesting to know. They never really got a push in the US as solos with Virgin back in the day. I think it might have been intentional so as to not waste the group's potential in that market, maybe? Which would have been the right move, as the solos really did tarnish the group's own work and status.

That and the fact that a lot of the solo music just wasnt that good teresa.gif

Definitely 'Never Be the Same Again'! In no particular order, When You're Gone, Out of Your Mind, What I Am and I Want You Back would be the rest of my Top 5.
