Seems like such a long time ago that I played a sport with other players. Even before the first lockdown it had been a long time for me too. I used to play football almost weekly but that arrangement stopped a few years ago now. I played squash more recently too although it’s not a team sport exactly. I think that the last team sport I took part in must have been basketball and that’s also going back a good couple of years too.
I wonder when things do get back to normal if team sports will be something more people will want to take part in again.
I played football with work colleagues in an outdoor astro turf pitch last summer and it was something that I would do on a monthly basis but I haven't played since then. I used to play football weekly as well a few years ago but the amount of playing time gradually reduced over time. As a kid I did play rounders every now and then but haven't played it as a grown up.
Same as Houdini. Literally the week before lockdown my company had set up a 5-a-side league intended to run for 7 weeks but it never got past week 1.
2 years later it might be possible again.
Mine was 7 a side football before I went to Australia back in January! noticing a theme here..
I play 6 aside Tuesdays and 8 aside on Saturday morning and last played in October before the second wave, looking forward to getting back next week hopefully!
Used to be football but that's going back a few years ago.
I don't think I've played any team sports since I left high school, they were never really my thing what with me not being sporty / good at anything team-related.
Played today, thoroughly enjoyable!
