The new #1 from Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong is doing great worldwide.
Actually it is not the only version - It was originally released under their previous name - Envy nearly 9 months ago Confusing or what? Here's the cover of mine: This post has been edited by euro music: 11th August 2014, 10:15 AM |

The new #1 from Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong is doing great worldwide. Actually it is not the only version - There is a version by a Japanese band called Envy that was released nearly 9 months ago For anyone interested in comparing the 2 here it is: Same song, same band, they changed their name because another band was already called Envy. Envy obviously pronounced N V = Nico & Vinz. |

I think Euro Music is actually aware they're the same artist... I'm just trying to get my head around why a thread was made to essentially highlight a 9 month old name change.

I think they changed their name because Envy isn't very googleable + there's already a band called Envy.
Nico & Vinz isn't exactly the best name either but what can y'do |

I think Euro Music is actually aware they're the same artist... I'm just trying to get my head around why a thread was made to essentially highlight a 9 month old name change. Nico & Vinz is a Norwegian singing/songwriting duo composed of Nico Sereba and Vincent Dery. They formed in 2009 as Envy and are based in Oslo.[1] They changed their name to to Nico & Vinz in January 2014 after the international success of "Am I Wrong". Am I Wrong was originally released in 2013 (show how far behind the UK is when releasing European music) when the band was called Envy. It peaked at #2 in Norway, Denmark & Sweden also at #5 in Finland. I got my copy just before last Christmas. It was even a US hit long before release in the UK. This is the followup (In Your Arms) that has already been a big hit in Scandinavia. (Shows how far behind UK are). This post has been edited by euro music: 11th August 2014, 12:42 PM |

It's all much clearer now, very relevant to my post. |
