Not even the haters can drag 1D down! They make up the 6th #1 debut this year with "Drag Me Down". Coming pretty close to them is Calvin Harris with his collab with Disciples, "How Deep Is Your Love", up a spot to #2. The two Disney queens Selena and Demo fall down two spots each, while Felix Jaehn and Jasmine Thompson fall a bit to #5 with "Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better)". Other than "Drag Me Down", there are no other top 10 and top 20 debuts. Two new songs enter the top 30 this week though: first off is Aussie rockers 5 Seconds Of Summer with "She's Kinda Hot", up four spots to #27. The greatest gainer this week goes to Five Knives, who make their top 30 and top 40 debut with "Savages" (the latest addition to the BJSC playlist), up 15 spots to #28. Two other new songs enter the top 40 as well: Austin Mahone may have a "dirtier" approach with this song, but his chart run is pretty clean so far: "Dirty Work" moves up 8 spots to #37. The last top 40 debut goes to the anti-party anthem "Here" by Canadian artist Alessia Cara, up one spot to #40. Along with "Drag Me Down", one other song debuts, making it two debuts overall, the smallest number of debuts since Dash Berlin's sole debut a few weeks prior. Taking that last debut is Nathan Sykes with his first charter without the other Wanted boys; "Kiss Me Quick" debuts at #45 this week.
With Five Knives taking the Greatest Gainer spot, the biggest dropper goes to... Nicki Minaj; "The Night Is Still Young" drops 18 spots to #50. In its 30th week, "Talking Body" drops 6 spots to #35.
Droppers: OUT (38.) (12) Pitbull & Chris Brown - Fun OUT (40.) (11) Maroon 5 - This Summer's Gonna Hurt

Drag me Down is good but it's not as good as What Makes You Beautiful of course. Yes at Nathan Sykes. Did you use to like The Wanted?

Hi there Mikey! "Savages": I see this being a grower, and I'm thankful this qualified. At least you got through to continue your qualifying streak! Congrats! "Fire N Gold": I've been all for teenybopper pop since Radio Disney but I love how this transcends that glass ceiling :wub.

Hai Adam! "Sugar" is GLORIOUS. It's the one Robin Schulz song that instantly clicked with me.
Thanks to all for commenting!

Hi Jason! "Drag Me Down": It's not their best but it's not the weakest lead single they have. "Kiss Me Quick": Nathan is LIFE. He was my fave in The Wanted - SOOOOOO GOOD. This one girl in my cross country team stanned for him hard.

Hai James "Drag Me Down": I dunno why but they just feel so empty without Zayn. "West End Kids": It's kinda stalling for me and plus I've been playing a lot of songs more often. I've also been trying to decide which of their other promo singles I should chart next because "Girl Crush" and "15 Dreams" GET THEIR ALBUM OMG IT'S OUT NOW AND IT'S PHENOMENAL
