I'll let her answer you.

Are you really a snake in real life or are you just pretending to be one on Bj because you're actually one of those alien lizard thingies?

Alien Lizard thingies? No, my username is definitely not connected to the Reptilian Elite Conspiracy Theory!

I was named after a character in one of my favourite computer games Stronghold Crusader who is called The Snake.

So you're a gamer. What was the first computer game you ever had?

I have to confess I am absolutely rubbish when it comes to playing even the simplest games.

I haven't answered music yet and your onto games....

Music types - alsorts

First albums:- Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath....influenced by my elder brother.

Loved Motown, but loads of others, however mainly odd songs rather than all the music.

I have only ever followed 2:- Slade and Darius

with Robbie as a follower for a while.

Last concert I went to was:- 30 seconds to Mars

Sid Meirs Alpha Centauri, although I suppose you could say my introduction was called Wings - Midway to Hiroshima, which was a CD Rom but had a flight simulator game in it.

I definitely haven't received any invitations to join them yet through the post or by any other means. I assume you might soon be on their invite list after calling your BJSC country /\donia! biggrin.gif

True, I haven't answered the music question yet.

I suppose I aught to start at the beginning.

I was surrounded by music from an early age.. My father had his own dance band before he married. He played piano, violin and banjo. He had quite a repertoire. He could play by ear too. If you could hum it, he could play it. He had a massive collection of sheet music and the family sing song would range through many genres. My gran's speciality which she'd sing while she was pottering around alone was gospel music.

My guess is that I just accepted that music was music and could appreciate any genre.

Retro forum so far, so good. I think Darius and Will fans ' input have helped to get retro 6 on the main forums list.

I can understand why the move was the right time for us, with Darius working behind the scenes in the US for an indeterminable period.

So far no one has been unpleasant which is a relief after the last couple of weeks. Our community is intact and we have our archives.

I'm not sure this thread is serving its purpose yet.

Interesting.. Though flowers are not my thing,I can admire a beautiful garden though. If I had to choose a flower,it would be a wild rose, or sweet peas. Love a beautiful tree though. As the song goes "only God can make a tree." Such a lovely relaxing thing -a tree. Colours-I like hues mostly and favourite is olive and lemon, which is such a lovely contrast. Black , brown an burnt orange are up there too. Favourite music- classical (chopin) but like all genres . Used to like Simon &Garfunkel and Donovan, but there are many others, dependent on the song. Only thing I am not so keen on is modern jazz- yet I love dixieland land style and trad:. Sometimes it's the singer, and sometimes it's the song!
