BuzzJack Idol Joined: 29 June 2006 Posts: 128,433 User: 845	I would have been equally happy with the one or like a drug as the lead both are brill and album highlights for me.With other leads I sometimes wonder how the 2nd singles would have performed as leads, in X case we know better as that happened but with IP for example I wonder would it have made any difference at all or let's get to it.

With a couple of them that didn't quite work out (Word Is Out, Some Kind of Bliss) I can see why they were chosen and I don't quite know what else I would have gone with as a lead single. Maybe 'Limbo' or 'Did It Again' for IP to see what would have happened out of interest.

BuzzJack Idol Joined: 29 June 2006 Posts: 128,433 User: 845	With some kind of bliss totally see where they were going with it and i understand why it was the lead, im lucky as in i really love the song and was happy with it when i heard it, i do think Limbo may have possibly done slightly better as a lead and at least went top 20 but i dont think overall it would have made much of a difference. Word is out again is another one of those tracks that if it wasnt the lead i dont think it could have been a single and its the same really for some kind of bliss. I do think though with lets get to it any of the singles that followed would have been better leads and the album might have gone top 10 for her, its a shame the album missed the top 10 and didnt even come close really. I think all the other albums had the right lead singles and they worked and the follow ups also kept the momentum going.

Obviously Dannii kept away to decrease the already existing Kylie comparisons but the output could have been interesting. Let's Get To It, suffered as it regressed in both sound and quality served on Rhythm of Love and Pwl came across as lost in how to market the album The sound of the singles is Kylie's most inconsistent as each single was so different and felt very disconnected.

BuzzJack Idol Joined: 29 June 2006 Posts: 128,433 User: 845	I actually think pwl and dannii could have done something good together in the early days but id say dannii wouldn't have went near them as she would have got mauled in the press for copying kylie, im also not sure if pwl would have worked with dannii as the journey would probably be just to similar to Kylie. If they had worked together i think material similar to this is out would have been the outcome.
