Theme: Saturday Night At The Movies
Guests: OneRepublic and Ed Sheeran

Who is excited for the yearly rendneitons of And I Am Telling You and My Heart Will Go On?
Will the curse of There You'll Be return?
Desperate for Only The Young to do Boom Clap! But it wont happen
My favourite week based on the theme. Hoping for some INSPIRED numbers, but i suppose that's asking for a bit much for this show/series lol.
Andrea's already performed And I Am Telling You so maybe not that (although Paul did Ghost after OTY sang it at JH) but I'll be astounded if nobody sings One Night Only or Listen
And yeah I heard Simon banned Let It Go from auditions so I doubt he'd un-ban it now. It'd be a good choice for Lola or Lauren though!
Someone to perform That's How You Know or Happy Working Song please
Unless Stereo Kicks pull off something epic I cant see them not being in the bottom 2 again. The press for them so far this week has been awful with rumours of losing members, leaked nude pics (and not of Barclay which might have actually helped) and the pasting they got on Xtra factor.
Who is ready for a ballad version of Lady Marmalade #cries
He probably banned 'Let It Go' because he knew everyone would do it at auditions or something. So now they're in the lives and they can only perform it once (twice depending on if they decide to use it as their "Best Performance of Series" in the final or something) I can't see any reason as to why it'd be banned. Especially if one of the favourites could perform it, it's just too big a song for it not to be included.
I can see Andrea butchering it, or Lauren doing her stuff with it. Hmm... hope someone does get to do it. Would love for it to get help to push it closer and over a million!
Let it go for Lauren please
Also a hairspray song, dreamgirls song, my heart will go on and sweeter than fiction are others I want
It'd be nice if Celine Dion's 'Because You Loved Me' was chosen instead of 'My Heart Will Go On' (if they use a Celine movie song).
I think Only The Young should do what they were going to do last week. "The Power of Love" from Back To The Future.
Alternatively they could do License To Kill.
OTY need to do something recent, right now they are bordering on 'naff'. I think they are likable and perform well, but they need something cool to sing. Little Mix really took off with doing E.T and Don't let go, although Don't let go is older it is seen as a really cool song. Little Mix also did Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Kesha, xtina, Beyonce, Nicki and Bieber.
Notice that list screams modern.
Well we know that 'Listen' will be performed.
I have just listened to OTY on the Sarah Jane Crawford show earlier today on BBC 1Xtra. They gave hints for this weeks song:
Blue
Sunglasses
Hats
They haven't confirmed it but I think i figured it out! All Saints - Pure Shores! (from the movie The Beach)
If it is that, OMG, it's a brilliant song! I loved it back in the day and it's still a great song! Hope it's that!
Yes, Pure Shores could also be an amazing choice for them!
Let it go PLEASE
Oh and JUMP! of course
what a shame Chloe is now out. Movie week would've really suited her actually
Pure Shores would be a good choice for OTY I think, or any other song that doesn't sound dated
I'm actually really surprised at how Only The Young have lasted so long with two utterly abysmal song choices for the live shows thus far. I especially thought they were going this week after hot male brown hair one seemed to refuse to sing a couple of his lines and their retorts to the judges post-performance. Hopefully they'll finally sing something contemporary, they were my favourites before the lives started and now they're just...eh.
Oh god not Pure Shores it is an utterly dull song, OTY are all about energy and fun.
I think Bryan Adams - Everything I Do would be good for Ben!
Just heard OTY's song for tonight (As all of the songs are up on itunes now) and OMG!!! I cant wait!
Right let's do this shizzle!
From the clips, this is gonna be a long couple of hours
That's right gang, I am not working or having a social life, so it is X FACTOR time.
Dermot should never sing.
Jake first while Strictly is still on and people think they aren't trying to get rid of Jake.
Jake getting the death slot
Stereo Kicks, Ben and Stevi last Christ, might have to turn off
Argh Jake on first. Danger zone.
Mel had to check who she had on first.
I'm starting to watch in about half an hour so I'll join you all later
So excited for Lauren
Ugh.... got a mental picture in my mind of a naked Jake
Jake is this years Sam Callaghan by far
he's also flat
Pretty weak vocal, and failed at that falsetto...
I really feel for Jake because this is so obvious setting him up to fail.
Omg that painful attempt at the big "key change" Such a bland and just "there" performance, he has very little presence.
01 Jake Quickenden - She's Like The Wind 2/10
That was absolutely naff SURELY he's gone this week???
02.0 Jake Quickenden
Oh dear. Some of those notes :S I did like the arrangement/production though!
1. Jake Quickenden 3.0
What a disaster!!! f***ing awful vocals
Jake: weak vocal; dull song. 2/10.
Hes definitely the weakest of Mel's category.
f***ing hell, that was terrible. There's no covering that up with song choice or anything.
Also, Cherly's HAIR is abysmal
They aren't even hiding they are aiming the bus squarely at Jake.
Seriously after that performance I didn't think much of that
Jake Quickenden - Awful. Flat throughout and dull song choice. Hopefully secured his exit. - 2.5/10.0
Bye bye Jake. He is ready to join any male stripper agency now.
Jake 3.0
As ever, if he was any good then he wouldn't be targeted. He just did a completely woeful performance and absolutely deserves to go. Besides, they've plugged his shirtless pictures twice tonight, at least they're displaying the talents he does have.
Boring and pretty much awful. Bye Jake. You can give me that personal training anytime you want though.
1.5/10 - Jake
Ohhh, I knew Boom Clap was too good of a song choice for Louis to choose it
Well this is just as flat and shit as Jake, I knew this song choice would be dire.
Only The Young - Just can't get on board with them at all. Each of the solos were very flat and when they sing together it was very uninteresting. Disappointing. - 4.5/10.0
Only The Young - 4.5
Jake Quickenden - 2.5
This really wasn't as good as I was expecting, but I'm just glad it's not a dull lifeless ballad like 75% will be tonight.
Only The Young - 6.0
A bit disappointed with OTY. I was expecting much better with this brilliant song choice.
That was SO good They've FINALLY found something current that suits them, more of that please.
09.0 Only The Young
02.0 Jake Quickenden
YASSS this is so what they need to be doing - although i think the studio version might sound a little better than that. Regardless, they make me so happy lmaoooo.
Think i might have a new favourite act
1. Only The Young 9.0
2. Jake Quickenden 3.0
So far both Jake and OTY have been crap, lambs to the slaughter to help Stereo Kicks?
Jake: 3/10
Only The Young: 6/10
Nothing special for either.
Oops, brown haired girl is really flat
Oh Only The Young it could have bebeen better. Still good though. I prefer ed their other two performances I think, I still hope they're safe.
It was great, except the Betsy's solo :/
Hat chorus did not sound live at all, especially not compared with the totally out of tune verses
Eek. That was certainly not a Little Mix moment... It wasn't terrible but the blond girl especially was pretty bad in the verses. The chorus was pretty good but perhaps they're better off with their fun/cheesy side!
01 Only The Young - Boom Clap 6/10
02 Jake Quickenden - She's Like The Wind 2/10
Oh god here we go with the aural pain next
Only The Young: A little underwhelmed but still great.
Why is them changing the song such a big deal?
I thought the blonde girl was really flat and off key, but I did really like the song.
Could have been much better, but a big improvement on last week 6.5/10
Only The Young just seem like awful people (especially the brown haired guy)
Jay James is seriously camper than me.
Jay James 4.0 - The king of boringness is back. Where's Adele please?
Only The Young - 6.0
Jay James - 4.0
Jake - 2.5
I love this song to bits, no one does it better than Adele to be honest, the song just suits a female voice, just found his performance pretty limp. 3/10
This is utterly painful from Jay, totally out of his vocal range.
Sadly I'm finding him hotter each week though #helpme
By contrast, this was a lot better than I thought it would be. Credit where it's due, decent performance.
Jay James - Please go away and get some vocal training learning how to not sing through your nose. I just hate him. - 4.0/10.0
Only The Young - 4.5
Jay James - 4.0
Jake Quickenden - 2.5
That was so bad lol. He seems to be getting progressively worse each week.
09.0 Only The Young
03.0 Jay James
02.0 Jake Quickenden
That was terrible. So f***ing boring, Jesus Christ. Cheryl is on point with her comments but you aren't allowed to give him negative comments.
I quite liked that. Didn't sound as strained as i thought it would. On third though the producers might want him out (but not as much as they want OTY and Jake out ofc x)
1. Only The Young 9.0
2. Jay James 7.5
3. Jake Quickenden 3.0
Jay: just average.
Jake Quickenden was really awful. It would be a big moment if he got through this round.
Only The Young were okay, slightly better than last 2 weeks but they still don't excite me as much as they should.
Jay James, that wasn't as bad as I feared but the song was too big for him and he just gave a dull performance.
6.0/10 Only The Young
4.5/10 Jay James
3.0/10 Jake Quickenden
Turn it into your version? Didn't he just copy the Adele version Simon?
Absolutely horrific. Dull is not the word... He just doesn't have the vocals; his voice is too weak. And no Simon, he just gets WORSE. Also, why does he ALWAYS have to mention his military background and his bloody family? If Hanna Barrett was bottom 2 with her brilliant rendition last year, Jay should be straight out of the competition... I don't wanna jump into the conspiracy theories but it seems so scripted with only Cheryl giving him bad comments despite him giving 3 absolutely horrific performances in a row.
01 Only The Young - Boom Clap 6/10
02 Jake Quickenden - She's Like The Wind 2/10
03 Jay James - Skyfall 1/10
Agreeing with Cheryl is makes me feel disgusting, but I DO
Only The Young were the best by far. Jay James - his voice is just too weak for that kind of song + he is plain booooooooooooooooring.
7/10 - Only The Young
3/10 - Jay James
1.5/10 - Jake
I cant at the running order too, 3 of Simon's acts and his hopeful cash cow Stereo Kicks as the last 4 performers.
Bored of Andrea tbh.
Reminds me of Danyl Johnson, ew.
God that was awful to listen to... oh pardon the pun
Andrea Faustini - 8.5 - Brilliant vocals. I didn't like this predictable song choice though.
Andrea Faustini - 8.5
Only The Young - 6.0
Jay James - 4.0
Jake - 2.5
Couldn't give a f*** how predictable that was anymore, that was absolutely incredible. So in love.
After hearing about a million versions of this, this felt a little disjointed at times? He's still an interesting performer and nailed the big notes.
I've only ever heard Listen on The X Factor.
Decent but we've seen this song performed SO many times on the show and this doesn't rank close to being the best. Predictable and not even pulling it off how he should. Far too loud at the end.
1. Only The Young 9.0
2. Jay James 7.5
3. Andrea Faustini 6.0
3. Jake Quickenden 3.0
About the same as every other Andrea performance so far so I'll score it as such. Vocally good but nothing more really.
09.0 Only The Young
07.0 Andrea Faustini
03.0 Jay James
02.0 Jake Quickenden
Andrea's worst performance to date, mostly down to the song choice admittedly. Listen is so dull and this was nothing more than a good karaoke version of it. At least he can sing well. He needs less predictable song choices
6.5/10 Andrea Faustini
6.0/10 Only The Young
4.5/10 Jay James
3.0/10 Jake Quickenden
Andrea: Meh. Don't get the hype at all.
Just tuned in, who did I miss?
MUCH better than last week. It wasn't "INCREDIBLE!!1!1" or anything because that's a song that has performances by Alexandra Burke and Melanie Amaro that define talent show brilliance and not many singers can live up to those. Of all big diva ballads though, they really could have chosen something less cliche!
01 Andrea Faustini - Listen 8/10
02 Only The Young - Boom Clap 6/10
03 Jake Quickenden - She's Like The Wind 2/10
04 Jay James - Skyfall 1/10
Andrea Faustini - Was slightly too big for him I felt and he struggled to go higher towards the end but, overall, head and shoulders above everyone else so far. He really can SANG. - 9.0/10.0
Andrea Faustini - 9.0
Only The Young - 4.5
Jay James - 4.0
Jake Quickenden - 2.5
Andrea has the voice, he's doing it the way he wants I guess with these songs and tbh these sorts of songs are what he would do after the show too. Will it be enough though.
We'll I for one thought Andrea was amazing!
Jake: 3/10
Only The Young: 6/10
Jay: 2/10
Andrea: 8/10
Andrea this week was definitely an improvement from last week!
I think the main reason I don't like him is just because everyone bums him so much, which is a silly reason, but eh.
Lola's BF is just as boring as she is #oh
Horsechelle Tim dead.
So apparently Rochelle would rather watch these people than her good friend on Strictly.
Andrea a lot better than I expected
Rochelleeeeeee
She's no Leon Jackson
That money note!!
They've transformed her into Natasha Hamilton
God she has murdered this for the most part, tonight has been dire so far.
Not as good as last week from Lola at all Shaky vocals towards the end, good enough start and she has a nice voice but she can do SO MUCH MORE than ballads constantly.
09.0 Only The Young
07.0 Lola Saunders
07.0 Andrea Faustini
03.0 Jay James
02.0 Jake Quickenden
She really struggled with the high parts of that.
That started v well but she lost it a bit in the second half. Still lovely though.
1. Only The Young 9.0
2. Jay James 7.5
3. Lola Saunders 7.0
4. Andrea Faustini 6.0
5. Jake Quickenden 3.0
her voice is spot-on as usual, would love her to go far in this competition.
8.0/10 Lola Saunders
6.5/10 Andrea Faustini
6.0/10 Only The Young
4.5/10 Jay James
3.0/10 Jake Quickenden
Lola Saunders - Oh dear. She took one step forward last week and now two steps back this week. Tuning was all over the place and the vocals were so weak. No thanks. - 3.5/10.0
Andrea Faustini - 9.0
Only The Young - 4.5
Jay James - 4.0
Lola Saunders - 3.5
Jake Quickenden - 2.5
Lola - it was her best performance on The Live Shows. I think she's safe tomorrow.
Andrea Faustini - 8.5
Lola - 8.0
Only The Young - 6.0
Jay James - 4.0
Jake - 2.5
Wrong song choice for her, she could have done better, just found it pretty average 4/10
Lola is so beige and basic. I don't see how anyone can get excited by her.
Hmm, Lola was good enough but some parts were a bit ropey... She has a great tone and potentially an amazing voice but that wasn't the best she can be. Still pretty lovely though. She just needs to work on her presence, I hope she gets a non-ballad song soon... I think Son Of A Preacher Man would have been great for this week!
01 Andrea Faustini - Listen 8/10
02 Lola Saunders - When You Believe 7/10
03 Only The Young - Boom Clap 6/10
04 Jake Quickenden - She's Like The Wind 2/10
05 Jay James - Skyfall 1/10
Lauren is coming to show them all how it's done *.*
Jake: 3/10
Only The Young: 6/10
Jay: 2/10
Andrea: 8/10
Lola: 7/10
Quite weak from Lola, very shaky. Hopefully she'll be safe though.
Following up Shayne Ward in replying to my tweets is Kitty!
Lola and Jay could well be in trouble, I don't see either as having a big fanbase that vote for them whatever they sing or sound like, I think they are very performance dependent and neither did well.
So far I'd not be surprised if any of Jake, OTY, Lola or Jay are bottom 2.
Lola nailed it. Again. Brilliant stuff.
Finally caught up so
Jake- oh dear, that was bad
Only the young- So disappointing and pretty flat
Jay- that was a pretty good performance
Andrea- Loved him for once, that performance was amazing. And also I adore listen
Lola- Wow that was beautiful, fantastic and stunning. What a performance- I might actually but it
Jake 0.5/10
Only the young 1.5/10
Jay 8/10
Andrea 10/10
Lola 10/10
Paul is way hotter than Jake anyway tbh.
Another really good performance tonight
Jake 0.5/10
Only the young 1.5/10
Jay 8/10
Andrea 10/10
Lola 10/10
Paul 8.5/10
To be honest I don't even recognise the song, I don't think the public are going to click with this, found it pretty average again. 4/10
I always forget about Paul tbh. All these guys merge in to one bar Jack and Andrea.
Well this is horrible
That was fairly pleasant. Not a lot else to say really.
09.0 Only The Young
07.5 Paul Akister
07.0 Lola Saunders
07.0 Andrea Faustini
03.0 Jay James
02.0 Jake Quickenden
Nice to see him change things up a bit and he's a far more interesting performer than most of the other guys, but shame I don't like that song whoever sings it...
Paul - He was amazing tonight. His best yet imo.
Andrea Faustini - 8.5
Paul - 8.3
Lola - 8.0
Only The Young - 6.0
Jay James - 4.0
Jake - 2.5
wow he really has improved since last week. amazing vocals and song choice. i want more of the swag Paul
8.5/10 Paul Akister
8.0/10 Lola Saunders
6.5/10 Andrea Faustini
6.0/10 Only The Young
4.5/10 Jay James
3.0/10 Jake Quickenden
Really good performance from Paul!
Paul Aikster - Vocally he was basically faultless. Lovely runs and tone. Despite having more stage presence this week, he is still lacking in that department. - 8.5/10.0
Andrea Faustini - 9.0
Paul Aikster - 8.5
Only The Young - 4.5
Jay James - 4.0
Lola Saunders - 3.5
Jake Quickenden - 2.5
I think Jake is definitely the weakest in Mel's category; Jack isn't too far ahead either. Paul and Andrea
Paul: so nothingy but at least it wasn't a ballad
phew this is really grating tonight, 6 acts in an hour
That was brilliant Way better than I expected, I love that song anyway but it suited his voice so well and he gave it more energy than he usually does. Why are they saying it's out of his comfort zone though?! Just because he has to move? It's still a soul song, which is his lane.
01 Paul Akister - Try A Little Tenderness 9/10
02 Andrea Faustini - Listen 8/10
03 Lola Saunders - When You Believe 7/10
04 Only The Young - Boom Clap 6/10
05 Jake Quickenden - She's Like The Wind 2/10
06 Jay James - Skyfall 1/10
1. Only The Young 9.0
2. Jay James 7.5
3. Lola Saunders 7.0
4. Andrea Faustini 6.0
5. Paul Akister 6.0
5. Jake Quickenden 3.0
QUEEN LAUREN
the staging/set *-*
I don't want to change this as it's already a ballad so I can't slow it down any more.
What is the actual differnce between the two versions though? Other than person singing it?
Lauren is far more boring than Andrea, anyone who says otherwise is in denial.
This is pretty weak too.
If that was out of Paul's comfort zone, his zone must be about 3cm
Also, sing the IDINA version or go home
That was alright, too big a sing for her
Jake: 3/10
Only The Young: 6/10
Jay: 2/10
Andrea: 8/10
Lola: 7/10
Paul: 7/10
Lauren: 5/10
Let It Go was slightly boring.
As much as I hate this song, this is the best performance tonight without the screechy bits. 8.5/10
That was fab. Going to be big on iTunes too i'm sure!
1. Only The Young 9.0
2. Lauren Platt 8.0
3. Jay James 7.5
4. Lola Saunders 7.0
5. Andrea Faustini 6.0

Paul - 8.3
Lola - 8.0
Only The Young - 6.0
Lauren - 6.0
Jay James - 4.0

Lauren making this song somewhat bearable
I wish she'd do an uptempo tho
OMG JUST STUNNING. FIRST 11/10 OF THE SERIES
Going to iTunes to buy it now
Jake 0.5/10
Only the young 1.5/10
Jay 8/10
Andrea 10/10
Lola 10/10

8.5/10 Paul Akister
8.0/10 Lola Saunders
8.0/10 Lauren Platt
6.5/10 Andrea Faustini
6.0/10 Only The Young
4.5/10 Jay James

Lauren DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE and making that song LISTENABLE. Excellent performance, really enjoyable.
09.5 Lauren Platt
09.0 Only The Young
07.5 Paul Akister
07.0 Lola Saunders
07.0 Andrea Faustini
03.0 Jay James
02.0 Jake Quickenden
Lauren Platt - Wasn't bad but didn't get me overly excited either. Didn't have the wow factor despite her vocals being pretty good. - 7.0/10.0
Andrea Faustini - 9.0
Paul Aikster - 8.5
Lauren Platt - 7.0
Only The Young - 4.5
Jay James - 4.0
Lola Saunders - 3.5
Jake Quickenden - 2.5
Pretty average tbh. The one who did it on BGT was much better...
This is bad
That was a bit boring tbh I really am only here for Fleur, Jack and Only The Young aka the only people who don't do f***ing BALLADS.
Last time a Demi song was done on movie week we lost Lucie Jones to Jedward, erugh.
I'm really backing Lauren for the win, I absolutely adore her! Downloaded her song from iTunes once again just now.
If all else fails she could always join Eastenders as some sort of lost link between Nancy Carter and Lauren Branning
Lauren: I was pretty bored by at the beginning but it was decent at the end. Overall just didn't do a lot for me.
SLAY. Brilliant song choice *.* vocally she just never falters, amazing. By FAR the best of the night. Loon glasses on.
01 Lauren Platt - Let It Go 10/10
02 Paul Akister - Try A Little Tenderness 9/10
03 Andrea Faustini - Listen 8/10
04 Lola Saunders - When You Believe 7/10
05 Only The Young - Boom Clap 6/10
06 Jake Quickenden - She's Like The Wind 2/10
07 Jay James - Skyfall 1/10
credit has got to be given to Lauren for not doing the screech notes and making the song actually listenable. I just wish her voice was a bit stronger
Don't normally do this, but HATERS of that song can CHUFF OFF AND DIE
Lauren was a bit meh this week. Not helped by her doing the safe version of Let It Go.
After Fleur, this is gonna be a horrific 35 minutes or so :/ Even worse than the first few songs.
WHERE did Cheryl's personality come from???
I adore Eye of the tiger the song, but not digging this at all. He has taken the drunken fun out of it that is a staple in every pub.
Is he even capable of being on stage without the guitar or?
So have we've had 2/2 girls, 4/4 boys 1/2 groups yet only 1/4 overs.... how?
Also he needs to lose the guitar.
Cheryl swapping seats with Louis.
I don't like this version of the track, another average performance for me 5/10
Jack - 8.2 - Really liked his version of Eye Of The Tiger. Really cool.
Andrea Faustini - 8.5
Paul - 8.3
Jack - 8.2
Lola - 8.0
Only The Young - 6.0
Lauren - 6.0
Jay James - 4.0
Jake - 2.5
Jack Walton - Stop breathing so heavily down the mic and do some singing instead Jack. So bored of him turning every song into an Ed Sheeran version of it. Next. - 3.0/10.0
Andrea Faustini - 9.0
Paul Aikster - 8.5
Lauren Platt - 7.0
Only The Young - 4.5
Jay James - 4.0
Lola Saunders - 3.5
Jack Walton - 3.0
Jake Quickenden - 2.5
Really liked that, especially on e the backing track came in
Jake: 3/10
Only The Young: 6/10
Jay: 2/10
Andrea: 8/10
Lola: 7/10
Paul: 7/10
Lauren: 5/10
Jack: 4/10
Classic case of guy with a guitar and the public fall in love. Oh, and plugging shirtless snaps too, it's a mini Jake. I agree with Louis he was boring and Cheryl was spot on yet again about using the stage. Him to go in a few weeks
I wonder how Jake the reject made it to live shows, really.
He's sounding awful, he can't sing. He's looking like a mockery of Geordie Shore C-List. Disgusting.
Anyway, Only The Young and Lauren were brilliant.
Oh and Jack is very good as usual.
Eveything else is a bore.
A lot better than last week, helped by a bonafide classic of a song. Not outstanding by any means but again, not a dull lifeless ballad performance.
Good performance but eye in the tiger is in my favourite 50 songs ever and the production is a reason for that. I wish the whole song was the uptempo production track in the original
Jake 0.5/10
Only the young 1.5/10
Jay 8/10
Andrea 10/10
Lola 10/10
Paul 8.5/10
Lauren 11/10
Jack 6.5/10
He's like a hot, not shit Ed Sheeran
I had SO many reservations about him doing that, but he did it justice and then some. Vocally on point and such ADORABLE performing. Taking a risky song and making it work somehow.
1. Only The Young 9.0
2. Jack Walton 9.0
3. Lauren Platt 8.0
4. Jay James 7.5
5. Lola Saunders 7.0
6. Andrea Faustini 6.0
7. Paul Akister 6.0
8. Jake Quickenden 3.0
That was GREAT. He totally made that song choice work, vocals are so on point.
10.0 Jack Walton
09.5 Lauren Platt
09.0 Only The Young
07.5 Paul Akister
07.0 Lola Saunders
07.0 Andrea Faustini
03.0 Jay James
02.0 Jake Quickenden
well this is good actually, at least he has a nice voice but it wasn't too exciting, the judges have a point. better than last week anyway
8.5/10 Paul Akister
8.0/10 Lola Saunders
8.0/10 Lauren Platt
7.0/10 Jack Walton
6.5/10 Andrea Faustini
6.0/10 Only The Young
4.5/10 Jay James
3.0/10 Jake Quickenden
If Lauren gets flack for always turning songs into ballads to suit her, the same can be said for Jack turning songs into an Ed Sheeran uptempo to suit him surely? Having said that, that was a good-ish performance, his voice was lost in the instrumental a bit at times though. I just find myself a bit bored by him sometimes.
01 Lauren Platt - Let It Go 10/10
02 Paul Akister - Try A Little Tenderness 9/10

There is a bus being planted right for Jack right now.
I liked Jack but the song choice didn't really work for me.
I get the comments about Jack needing to work on his performance skills tbf, but vocally he was absolutely ON POINT and Simon was right about him being a perfect recording artist. Let's hope he can finish top 5 at least and get signed
So excited for Fleur's performance.
I feel like Mel is defo not getting the job again next year, she basically said then that the song choice and changes to it weren't down to her.
Simon really is a pain in the neck this series. He's not funny at all
Love that she did the Lil' Kim part!
This is showing up Fleur's lack of vocals, just not as strong and now we can see why she hasn't had a ballad so far.
Fleur East - Fleur did her job brilliantly. It's the best version of Lady Marmalade I've ever heard.

Decent but predictable. A very good performer though and she needs to stay in ahead of some (most?) of the others.
AMAZING. So so close to a 10 also, she's brilliant and SUCH a star.

Amazing. Blew everyone out of the water, there is no competition. She really could be a dark horse I think.
She looks AMAZING
she has such a good recording voice, what a performance! I knew she had potential and she delivered. UK public will probably vote her out soon Not helped by the fact she has lots of backing vocals. Love that she's got good judge comments tonight anyhow.

Wow... outstanding performance, loved that, so consistent 10/10
Fleur was brilliant as always.
I have to admit that was even better than Lauren She edged it just slightly. She just has everything that a star needs. The confidence, the voice, the performance skills... She really is like a guest star performing their single.

Stereo Kicks and Stevi coming up next dear lordT
Can't they spread the good acts throughout the show so we keep watching, but have some toilet breaks as well?
EDIT: The good ones obviously being Fleur, OTY and Lauren
Vocal wice its her best, but the last line is bad
all you Fleur fans if you haven't heard this song yet check it out
more proof that she could potentially make some great songs if she gets the chance to off the back of this competition.
When is Ben, cant wait Ben
I absolutely hate Lady Marmalade but Fleur made that so much better than I expected it to be, she is the only performer I've ever seen on this show where it feels more like she's one of the professionals on a Sunday than a contestant.
ready to be slayed by Stevi
Stevi is repulsive and not even remotely entertaining.
Stevie really needs to go out this week.
Wtf is with those leg movements. It's like he's having a SEIZURE to go with the Strokeface.
Fleur. The star quality is already there, another fab performance!
This constantly having the girl dancers all over him is irking me.
Not him doing semi-slutdrops lmao
Can he leave please?
Stevi Ritchie - I think it could be goodbye this week for Stevi and thank god for that. 0 comedy in it for me at all. - 0.0/10.0

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
I hope someone comments on the lovely loud female vocal on the chorus.
Gotta hand it to him, very entertaining and his best for me!
That was surprisingly enjoyable (probably cause I love footloose)

Stevi is horribly embarrassing and they need to stop being like "SEX GOD!!1!1" when he looks like a Bassett hound. Still, I would genuinely rather watch all of his performances in succession than one of Jay's. At least he knows he's a joke I guess

Louis has a cheek after inflicting Wagner and Jedward on us!
Stevi: Same thing as the last 2 weeks.
Genuinely preferred Stevi to Jake/Jay.
Well Stevie has now just ruined After Office Hours for me.
Omygod at Louis saying he doesn't want 8 people
So the answer to 8 is too many, is having half them in the dark lol
This Stereokicks performance is confusing me, the arrangement at the start makes it feel like there are triple the amount of members.
I really don't like how they are making out going to school as the most pointless and awful thing in the world.
Why are they staging this like the charity single with all the finalists? Whoever opened on Let It Be was awfully out of tune.
Lead singer is a great singer, the rest less so
Not sure if it's the fact that 'Let It Be' is one of my all-time favourite songs but that was really good. Didn't think they could do it, but... they did and then some

That was really good, they're easily safe. Joey Essex is a pretty good singer.
Well that by no means as bad as I expected but still all rather clichéd and some of them are being carried by the front guy.
A half shit band is not made good by splitting them off into small groups
That was actually really good fair play to them by far their best performance
That was really bad. I bet they're gonna do well now. Only like 1 of them can sing. WHY COULDN'T THEY GO LAST WEEK

Can someone break the lead singers finger so he stops pointing it to the sky... PLEASE!
James out-sings the rest by a mile, only problem is he looks like he is having a stroke when he does.
Main guy would be so hot too if he didn't have the weird eye issue
That was MUCH better than they've been before now, the vocals were actually on point and they worked quite well together for once. I still don't think they have the stage presence that they should have by now though and 8 is far too many for sure.

Simon would never stab an act in the back. You can just ask The Conway Sisters.
Stereo Kicks - Lead singer really saved that, his vocals were really good on this performance. I am glad they worked on their harmonies as well, sounded far better together this week. They just don't feel like a band to me though, it was very much like a decent group performance at the start of the Sunday show. - 6.0/10.0

Don't know if its a double elimination tomorrow or a single elimination, but I hope the bottom 2 are Jake & Stevi, of these 2 acts need to go pretty soon, hopefully one of them will leave tomorrow, I do feel Lola could be in the bottom 3 as well, hopefully I'm wrong.
Who is left? We still have 20minuets!?
The "lead" vocalist is actually quite good, the others are either average or off in places which let it down. The Hey Jude part was so unnecessary anyhow.

Google has provided me with some interesting Jake Sims images
Stereo Kicks were nothing special and it's making me laugh at how much the producers and the judges are seemingly throwing everything at them from the VT introducing them separately (again!) to the over-the-top judges reaction to the staging lighting them up individually to try and get them votes and support and people to invest in them!
Ben has seriously got an attitude problem who on EARTH does he think he is?!

BORING
Ben makes me imaginary ovaries skip a beat.
God I hate this song, it is a lot of shouting and screaming and he is doing just the same.
very uninspired song choice but he does a good job of it. not a fan of that note before the final chorus though but at least he's doing vocal challenges and not playing it too safe

Vocally sound but the performance didn't excite me in any way. Inevitably will be in the iTunes top 10 though...
Ben Haenow - I love Ben but this wasn't for me. I far prefer his vocals when more on the soulful side and that was missing for me this week. He did sing it well apart from the money note though which was a bit wobbly. - 7.5/10.0

Simon throwing the fake curve ball there to rally Ben's fans.
That was alright, he had no connection but sang it very well.
What on earth were they listening to?! The vocals were painful, I'm sorry but he just growls and sounds like he needs a good cough. It was just a hugely inferior karaoke version of the original. I just don't get his appeal at all, he looked really bored, nervous and uncomfortable throughout :/ I can definitely see that being the highest on iTunes though, it'll be him or Lauren.

He needs to show some emotion in his face, he sings it looks too easy
Like a perfect robot singing
But still the best here vocally
Tonight was terrible, I'd say only Paul performed above the average set for each contestant. Andrea was his usual good vocals self. The rest was awful for the most part. OTY and Stevi bottom 2 please cus that would be interesting as to who would be saved.
01. Only The Young (9/10)

When Stevi isn't the bottom contestant - you must be seriously bad! The biggest improvement this week was from Stereo Kicks easily. The biggest 'drop' in quality was probably Lola - very boring and uneventful. Most below average - hence the majority of acts I marked under 6/10. The top 5 were good, but unspectacular again this week.
Fleur was the only one who really brought it this week I think. Only The Young, Jack, Lauren and Stereo Kicks were all pretty good too.
The rest are just so so bad or just good but boring (Lola, Andrea, Ben).
Fleur East 10/10
Jack Walton 9.5/10
Only The Young 9/10
Lauren Platt 9/10
Stereo Kicks 6.5/10

Stevi Ritchie 5.5/10
Jay James 4.5/10
Jake Quickenden 4/10
Well that DRAGGED tonight. Apart from the top 4 who just ran away with it for me, it was the usual snoozefest the show has become in the past few years.
Can we have a QUADRUPLE elimination please??
My votes:
2x Lauren (really love her)
1x Fleur (for the rap *.*)
1x Stereo Kicks (quite enjoyed the first half of this)
1x Only The Young (loved parts of this and so badly want a mixed pop band back in the charts)
The Facebook comments are paining me again.... This week it's Ben who's being praised up like he's the second coming of Jesus.
I voted twice for Lauren/Fleur and once for Paul.
My votes:
4x Lauren
1x Fleur
5 votes for Only The Young. I just can't stop warming to them and i'm praying they do well.
I'm gonna hazard a guess at a Jake and Only The Young bottom 2, with Lola, Jack and Stevi also in danger.
I am gonna predict a Lola and Jake bottom two. It is just one going home this week right?!
Theme: Halloween next week
Have to give all 5 votes to Lola, she's in trouble simply for being female IMO.
Also predicting a Jake and Lola bottom 2 here, not sure who else would be in danger really.
Votes
4 x Only The Young
1 x Fleur
Xtra factor is summing up the show so well, it is like a funeral.
I love to see Andrea doing the Monster Mash next Saturday
Stevi singing Ghostbusters next week then.
Someone needs to sing Zombie by The Cranberries for Hallloween *.*
My app votes across my iPhone and iPad:
4x Fleur, 2x Lauren, 2x Only The Young, 1x Andrea, 1x Paul.
I accidentally voted for Andrea trying to swipe left ffs. Only reason he is doing well I think.
I'll predict a jake and Stevi bottom 2 with jake going
My ranking for tonight
1 Fleur East (She SMASHED it)
2 Paul Aikster
3 Lauren Platt
4 Andrea
5 Stereo Kicks (actually thought they were really good this week )
6 Only The Young
7 Jay James
8 Ben Haenow
9 Lola Saunders
10 Jack Walton
11 Jake Quickinden
12 Stevi Ritchie
The top 5 were really good the rest were either average or terrible.
My App votes went all to Fleur as well
I forgot I have the android app on my phone too
2x Lauren
2x OTY
1x Lola (the latter two as they're in trouble but I like them, the former as my overall fave)
Dreading next week and Halloween songs. I'm trying so hard to like this series of the X factor (mainly for Mel B but even she seems to realise it is shit).
3x Fleur East
2x Lola Saunders
Paul was my 2nd favourite but Lola needs my votes more and she's normally better. Fleur was my favourite of tonight easily and so got 3 votes.
Facebook likes for the pics of each performance, after 40 mins of the show being over:
Andrea Faustini 13.6k
Lauren Platt 10.4k
Fleur East 9k
Lola Saunders 7.7k
Ben Haenow 7.3k
Jay James 7.1k
Paul Akister 6.9k
Jake Quickenden 3.8k
Stevi Richie 3.7k
Jack Walton 3.2k
Only The Young 1.7k
Stereo Kicks 1.4k (split across three pictures?! Would probably be higher if there was just one idk)
I know they've shown to be less reliable at predicting the bottom 2 than there were shown to be in the Aussie version (more or less every week they were bang on), but it's interesting to see how they correlate with the bottom 2. I'll do an update tomorrow.
Seeing those results gives me a little more confidence in Lola surviving but they had Stereo Kicks about that high up the order last week and they were still bottom 3...
01 Fleur East
02 Paul Akister
03 Jack Walton
04 Only The Young
05 Stereo Kicks
06 Andrea Faustini
07 Lauren Platt
08 Ben Haenow (I like his voice, however I have to agree with Mel that there was no emotion)
09 Jay James
10 Jake Quickenden
11 Lola Saunders
12 Stevi Ritchie (just NO)
Halloween next week? If they survive I hope that Only The Young do a version of Things That Go Bump In The Night.
I actually don't have a clue what I want to hear for Halloween week
Possibly stay (Shakespeare's sister), ghost (Ella Henderson), e.t. (Katy) and haunted (Taylor)
I hope the group performance is a medley of hits from Spiceworld: The Movie
They're definitely gonna stretch the boundaries of the theme next week like when Craig sang Set Fire To The Rain (how exactly is that Hallowe'en-based?)
Interesting that on xtra factor Jack has said the issue they had is they wanted him to dance and perform and rip his shirt open at the end of the song and he wouldn't do it. Seems weird to be taking the moral high ground when he has just done a naked shoot and doing a bit of performance and dancing wouldn't hurt him tbh.
The Mel / Jack drama was apparently about his performance. They wanted him to have his shirt ripped open and make it more of a performance but he was against it. Good on him not wanting to use his body to sell the performance~
Stevi did it first week though having his shirt ripped open and I don't recall them slating him for it?
Also the naked mag shoot Jake did was for a cancer charity, which is what his brother died of, shame that wasn't mentioned on the main show though.
I think Lola's in trouble this week
That's good because she is shit.
Haha yeah Lola was awful tonight especially! I loved her at judges houses for some reason but in the lives she's been such a bore.
Paul was surprisingly my favourite by far tonight! Don't usually like him at all but thought he was so so good tonight. I guess the song choice helped but still 👌
So do you all still think Boom Clap was the right song choice and the amaze song you all were gagging for  #toldyouso
It was still better than the whole "boring middle aged relatively attractive male sing boring ballad" routine tbf.
I want to marry Jay James But he must promise to never sing again.
First off, Jack's VT. My favourite human. Thank you.
09.0 Ben Haenow · Surprise of the night for me. Apart from the high note which was just a tad iffy, everything else about that performance was really rather fabulous! Starting to love his voice more, hope he keeps surprising me from now on~ (helps that he's also v nice looking as well x)
08.0 Stereo Kicks · Big improvement on last week, although it's really starting to seem like they have the one lead vocalist (his name escapes me), and the rest are just support acts coming along for the ride. Doesn't help that he's so awkward to watch as well. But yes, enjoyable performance. I like when people make shit songs at the very least listenable.
00.0 Stevi Ritchie · Louis in on point comment shocker.
10.0 Jack Walton · Flawless performance once again, great song choice and a stunning version. WINNER *.*
09.5 Fleur East · Very impressed with her tonight! By far her best performance to date, the voice, the performance, she had the whole package. Now just comes the worry that she won't get votes for being overly sexual (which I don't think was really the case... she just BROUGHT IT). *claps* job well done.
06.5 Lauren Platt · The whole thing was all a bit flat for the first half really. A bit boring as well? Just glad she gave it all towards the end otherwise it would have been a travesty from start to finish.
08.0 Lola Saunders · There's something about that performance I'm not keen on? Still, she has the better and stronger voice out of herself and Lauren BY FAR, but it was obviously a bit shaky at parts tonight. Still a strong vocal towards the end though. Hoping she can keep improving.
00.0 Andrea Faustini · Overrated shit.
02.0 Paul Akister · The voice just really grates on me, like someone dragging nails down a blackboard. Otherwise it was a very microscopic improvement on last week.
00.0 Jay James · Is it Simon's honest intention to keep allowing Jay to destroy songs every week? This was awful, no passion in it at all, dull, no substance in it at all. Really hoping he does a Kye Sones and leaves earlier than expected, but I'm guessing we'll be stuck with him for a while yet. *sighs*
09.5 Only the Young · LOVE LOVE LOVE. Amazing performance of one of the best songs from one of the BEST films. Don't get some of the comments from the judges? Anyway, great performance and I really hope they go far! (Charlie remains cute as ever )
07.0 Jake Quickenden · Didn't love that as much as previous performances from him, but it was still enjoyable. Just really hoping he and Mel will decide to go for something a bit more up-tempo sometime soon though because it's going to hinder him if he sticks to ballads all the time. But yeah, still love him.
And sorry, but Lauren really is a Jacqueline Jossa clone.
Yes Calum, Charlie is adorable
I'm not sure who will go tomorrow, I feel the producers would be happy with Jake going and he didn't help himself but the judges comments went a bit OTT, especially Simon's who could easily rally his fans to vote more.
Jack is another candidate but he seems to be generally liked, but he gave a bad performance and the revelation that he might be difficult to work with for Mel wont help.
OTY were weak as hell, but the judges comments weren't overly negative to make people feel sorry for them or rally the vote. They could be in danger but maybe their past performances will save them.
Stevi got a nicer later slot but it feels like it is wearing thin and I think going by fb likes and stuff he is only just above the safe zone the last 2 weeks, is the novelty wearing off?
I think it is between those 4, Stereo Kicks got everything in their favour tonight, Lola will probably survive from past performances being better.
I think you're really underestimating Only The Young, and I think "weak as hell" is harsh (even though I respect that this is your opinion). There were many worse performances than theirs tonight. I concede that their verses were shaky but everything else was fine? I could be wrong, but I hardly see Louis losing 3 acts within the first 3 weeks. Anyway, I think/hope that they'll be around for a while longer.
I'm pretty convinced that it will be one of Mel's boys who goes tomorrow. Most likely Jake, who in all fairness does deserve to go after that pretty awful performance he gave. I even found Stevi to be mildly more enjoyable than him this week!
I don't think I've seen people talk about X Factor performances in terms of "the best/worst slots" before this series. Is there any evidence based on past series that a particular slot in the running order = death knell? Unless anyone is bothered to come up with the proof, it seems to me like a bit of an excuse! If it's actually a thing, then it shouldn't have much impact this year given that you can vote before the first person has performed.
While I'm sure there is some manipulation that goes on from the producers, I'm not really buying any of the "bad treatment" that Jake/Stephanie and whoever else has supposedly had. Generally I feel like it's a level playing field, and if those 2 in particular actually sang very well then they wouldn't get bad comments from the judges. Jake has deserved the critique he has received.
I am living for the Cheryl backlash I keep seeing on Twitter tbh *.* agree 100% with everyone saying that she's just being a moaning faced little cow this year, thinking she's all that.
I laughed at her comment to Fleur tonight as well... Saying she respected how she did the whole singing and dancing and rapping all at once thing, or whatever it was. Bet you wish you could do that too without miming your way through it, eh?
Fleur slaying on Xtra Factor
Yes in the past going last was a massive advantage, because voting started at the end of the show. Now you can vote from the beginning, I don't think it matters as much. I'm sure throughout the many series, it took 9 series (I think?) before the contestant that performed last was ever in the bottom two, whereas the person who went first was more often than not in the bottom two.
Just looked back, it happened in series 3 to Ashley McKenzie also. Other than that, no-one until Melanie Masson in series 9. Not happened other than these two occurrences!
Only saw a couple of perfs (been at work but I saw Fleur, OTY & Lauren via the app) all 3 were at least, "good". Fleur was WOW! OTY didnt disappoint me (probably because I had a feeling the comments they received on here, were gonna be like that "good, but thought it'd be better" etc..) they were really good (bar a couple of issues) and Lauren was "good". Nothing more, nothing less. I find her really dull though! :/
Cheryl and Mel speak a hell of a lot more sense than Louis or Simon for sure. For example, Cheryl is the only one who doesn't wet herself ad neauseam over Jay's hideously boring performances and she was spot on about Stereo Kicks last week. I don't see how being more outspoken than she was in 2010 makes her a "moaning faced little cow" personally, when people moaned she was too nice during her first stint as a judge. If it was Kylie, Katy Perry or someone else who's more widely liked than Cheryl, nobody would bat an eyelid at what's said. People on here aren't as bad but I see a lot more hate than love for her on Twitter :/ I love both her and Mel as judges though.
As for half of twitter calling Cheryl out on her lack of talent, they need to see Mel B singing live on X Factor Australia alongside Guy Sebastian, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Ronan Keating! Absolutely embarrassing, especially in comparison to the other three who are incredible live vocalists (particularly Natalie which really surprised me). But both are (were in Mel's case I guess ) huge popstars, part of iconic girl groups, they know what they're doing and what it takes to be a star. You don't have to have the vocals of Whitney Houston to know that, god knows there are millions of people watching and commentating who can't hold a tune, are their opinions any less valid?
Of course Louis has always been just a bit bonkers but Simon is pretty bad as a judge now too I think... He doesn't seem to let Cheryl have her opinion at all, especially if it goes against his. But that's the whole point of a panel, for them to have their views, which naturally will differ. Four judges with potentially four different viewpoints gives each acts lots to take on board. If they all said exactly the same to every act, nobody would progress or get better as much as they should.
I think Mel is incredibly out of practice! She was a lot better live during the 90s, a very confident performer (she would sound amazing singing 'Viva Forever'/'Goodbye' etc), but her more recent performances are pretty bad. In a way Fleur reminds me a bit of Mel B during her first solo album era back in 2000/2001, in terms of image/performances!
This short Bodyguard spoof shown on Xtra Factor, starring Fleur and Jay, amused me! http://www.itv.com/xfactor/live-shows/the-bodyguard-xtra-factor-week-three
Why was Mel so pissed off at Jack for? She was acting like he killed her mother or something.
My app votes went to:
2 x Fleur (My favourite of the night)
2 x Only The Young (I think they're in trouble tonight)
1 x Stevi (I want him to stay for another week at least)
People in trouble this week in my opinion:
Jake
Jack
Only The Young
Lola
2 of them will be in the bottom 2 believe me.
The hype for Jay James baffles me. He just seems so....average.
Mel B is getting on my nerves now and the way she talks is so irritating
And can Jack really sing anything without that guitar or is it stuck to him???
I thought so - movie week always has to have a Whitney Houston song in there somewhere.
To be fair I would like to see him performing without the guitar. Or at least do something other than standing still while playing said guitar! Some people can be very charismatic while playing an instrument. Taking off the "he's fit" loon glasses (which is something I need to remove too x) he isn't a particularly captivating performer. He needs to step up or else he'll be going quite soon.

12. Only The Young – 3,452 (this was uploaded a good 30 minutes after performance instead of straight after like the others so think it has negatively effected likes)

I think any of Lola, Stevi, Only The Young and Jack could join Jake in the bottom two.
Hasn't Stevi Ritchie been doing extra-curricular activities with Chloe?
No, Chloe Jasmine has a boyfriend. Not sure where that came from.
As I've said, Jack needs to do something other than stand with his guitar and
I don't think it's just the shirt ripping thing. I believe they wanted a full on performance from him, but he didn't want to do that (probably because he felt more comfortable just standing there with the guitar). Mel was probably annoyed that he isn't being versatile with his performing? That's what i suspect anyway..
Dissapointed with Only The Young performance last night!
If Jake is not in the bottom 2 I would love for them to say his name first just to see the rest collectively shit themselves.
Even though Jake was pretty much the worst last night, I want him to go through in a way just for them to not get their own way after blatantly trying so hard to bus him
I hope Jake goes this week, so by the time next weekend comes around, all of the conspiracy theories are old news and we can move on!
The only other act I'd settle for going over Jake is Stevi. If anyone goes bar those two this week it'll be a shame. Even Jay is more worthy of staying a bit longer.
Digital Spy poll (who sang best?):
Andrea Faustini · 21.89%
Fleur East · 17.46%
Lauren Platt · 11.82%
Stereo Kicks · 11.73%
Paul Akister · 8.98%
Ben Haenow · 7.36%

Jack Walton · 3.18%
Jay James · 3.18%

Stevi Ritchie · 2.40%
Jake Quickenden · 1.46%
Personally I'd swap Jay for Jake (if that turns out to be the actual result), because part of me thinks they'd still save Stevi (although maybe not Louis now?). Just praying none of OTY, Jack or Lola end up in the bottom 2.
Jake will totally be bottom. He was DIRE.
These group performances are possibly worse than Jake and Stevi
They are awful this year
Just murdered my favourite track of the year
Lol at Andrea butchering the first lines of Rather Be.
Andrea was awful opening that song. This shows Jake should be doing up beat songs most of the time.
I am sad we didn't get a Spice Girls medley for movie week.
the group performance isn't actually bad for once and yay for them doing Rather Be! Another week top 40 for that plz
please never let that be sung on here ever again
Oh lordy at this.
STEVI sounding better than half of them.
Not crap group perf shocker
that was actually very very good. proving that Jake, Lauren and Jack would all be better off doing up-tempos.
Only The Young sounded great on that!
Really?! I thought they just about ALL sounded terrible...
I am gonna go left field and predict a Lola and Jay bottom 2.
My mum honestly just said "what the f*** is that" when Jay's recap came on
I want Jake and Jay (or Lola) in the bottom 2 tonight.
I'll predict a Jake and Jack bottom two
I want Jake (going out) and only the young (based on that performance) for bottom 2 (or Ben)
Fleur, Lauren and Lola were all so superb yesterday
Jay NEEDS to be bottom 2. Honestly he must be THE worst they've ever had... Seriously. I know Jedward, Wagner etc. were worse but jesus the overhype is just too much, his vocal is painful.
Maybe "my least favourite" rather than worst though
Lola was so bad in that group performance, like so bad.
Jay needs to be bottom, but he won't because he was a soldier and his wife had trouble keeping her clothes on which makes him SUPER UNFORTUNATE. Obv.
I love this new OneRepublic song.
This OneRepublic song sounds like every other OneRepublic song.
I predict Jake and OTY to go bottom 2, with Jake leaving. Let's be honest it doesn't matter who else in the bottom 2 if Jake is there though. Even Stevi would go through over Jake
Ryan has a great voice and when One Republic release a good song then I'm on board, but they can be a tad dull.
Plus he looks a mess tonight.
No one was here for an unknown OneRepublic song.
SO nervous for Only The Young and Jack.
I would literally break down if they made up the bottom two but any combination of them plus another would be heartbreaking. Jake and Stevi PLEASE.
Jay leaving tonight really would be fabulous.
that OneRepublic song was super dull and forgettable just like I expected. And with Ed Sheeran yet to come it's not going to get any better performance wise, yawn
Jay is a tad annoying but I do like him performance wise.
Ardently hoping for a Jay and Lauren bottom 2.
So long as Fleur/Only The Young/Lauren/Jack are safe I'll be happy, the rest I can all gladly leave to be honest.
My best case scenario would be a Jay/Jake bottom 2. Jake going and knock Jay down a peg or two.
If Jay is bottom 2 it has to be with a no hoper like Jake or Stevi. If Lola was bottom 2 with him and pushed her out, it'd be awful. I'd rather he wasn't bottom 2 at all in that case I know she wasn't great last night and she's a bit boring but I don't want her to go yet.
OK, starting to believe the conspiracy theories about Jake being stitched up by the producers now after those comments...
MUTE MUTE MUTE MUTE MUTE
I really think it will be someone fairly popular vs Stevi and Stevi will stay . I can just see it. I bet it will be Only The Young or Jack as well.
He has all the charisma of a mushroom
The crowd need to shut the hell up!
In fairness Stevi sounded quite god in the group performance and I'd rather listen to/watch him than Jake, Ben or Jay, genuinely! I don't actually think he's funny or entertaining or anything, but at least him/the judges acknowledge he's a joke which I prefer to overhyped acts like Jay or Ben if that makes sense?
Did anyone feel like Simon mentioning Lola was because he might know she is bottom 2 and going to be saved and he is getting the excuse in early as to why she is there/going to be saved?
Ed taking some tips from the Common Linnets for his performance!
This is so beautiful
I have fallen so much in love with thinking out loud in the last couple of weeks
I wish this camera would stop going around in circles, it's making me feel a little ill. And why are there loads of random children holding torches?
this is painful to watch but nice to listen to.
Adore this song. His best since Lego House for sure.
Ed Sheeran doing a medley of all of his songs
(i do like this)
Anyone wants a torch
The camera operator is making me dizzy.
That should get him to number 1 then. It be fair, his best since Lego House.
Ed is class whether you like the music or not.
That was a good performance, and it's such a chill song!
I have no idea what he is singing, but a CHOIR and LIGHTS is not a winning combo chezkm. Flush.
Longest advert break ever.
YES Fleur.
First announced again, 3rd week running
Fleur first announced 3rd week in a row #rollseyes
Glad for Fleur.
Yasss Fleur so happy!
EDIT; Not too hap[y about Stereo Kicks
LOLA
So happy she's safe
Lola! Thought she'd be in danger.
Lola must have been 3rd bottom.
Stevie V Jake?
i'm done.
YESSSSSSSSSSSS JACK G'WON BAE <3
I'm really happy with that bottom 2
Glad jack is safe- I have started to really like him
Jake surely going
Well Jake is a gonner then.
Jake is gone, the other judges will choose Jake to go
For f***s sake Stevi?!
(can't even be too happy at Jack making it because OTY)
Can't believe Only The Young are in the bottom two - they were the best of the night! If Jake doesn't go now...
I didn't think they would save Jake till last again. I can see Only The Young going out
Jake has to go, it's a no brainer.
JAKE TO GO PLEEEEASE
Yikes for Only The Young!! I want to seem them do more different stuff... Like a Haim cover or something!
Bye Jake. You deserved to go last week.
LOVE Jake so much, but surely Only the Young have to be safe here? Such a shame too as they've had it in for Jake since the beginning. :/
That advert was so odd?
Jake will be gone.
I really hope Jake gets saved, but I can't see them having two judges with 4 acts and 1 judge only having one act.
Looks like we won't get a group winner this year then.
I will kill a bitch if Jake goes through over Only The Young.
