Found this first on Spotify then on Youtube too
the first demo version of A-ha - Take On Me

bizarre to say the least ohmy.gif crazy vocals but the essence of the song is there (somewhere)

sounds like a quirky little indie synth band circa 1981 - sort of a cross between Telex and early Depeche Mode.
