At this point I can definitely see the single going in at like #32 or something but the album is the main priority anyway.

I think you may have missed out a day? It was on 491 yesterday. So it's a 61 increase. Which is still decent as the day before it was +42. And the slightly increasing airplay IS showing on iTunes. I agree with Lee. Requesting to al the radio stations is important. We need to show that we are still interested in the song and want to hear it. The more we request the more it increases on radio the more pre orders, the better it charts. Nop, it just updated during the day too. It wouldn't surprise me if it were to do it again today. I prefer posting my update at the same time (although, fair enough, I was a few hours late this round...) so it's easier to compare considering I don't know how many times it updates during one day. |

Oh okay, From what I saw they just update it at midnight every day? The Saturdays are The Hits' 23rd highest played artist now. This post has been edited by Joe.: 2nd August 2014, 05:41 PM |

I doubt this is going to go top 40 unfortunately, despite never getting very high Leah McFall never left the overall top 1500 for several weeks and she is going to be nowhere near the top 40. While The Saturdays' larger fanbase will make up for the much poorer pre-orders than Leah, I can't see it doing much better overall. The only thing that could help it is a reduction to 59p and/or a few daytime TV shows but I'm not sure what they have planned.
I think this is going to do a 'Sirens' at best which is probably a better comparison considering Cher has a decent-sized core fanbase like The Saturdays. |

I've been keeping track of their CMR spins for the past two weeks. It updates every night at midnight (7:00 PM my time) and I got +61 for yesterday as well. Regardless, they're headed in the right direction.
7/20 +06 (30) 7/21 +27 (57) 7/22 +54 (111) 7/23 +40 (151) 7/24 +47 (198) 7/25 +43 (241) 7/26 +48 (289) 7/27 +31 (320) 7/28 +43 (363) 7/29 +37 (400) 7/30 +49 (449) 7/31 +42 (491) 8/1 +61 (552) |

As long as the album goes #1, the single can miss the top 100 for all I care. This era is all about the album for me. 99p downloads won't make them as much money as £7.99 or £10.99 (or more if you bought the boxset) purchases will.
I'm also glad the deluxe version is selling more than the standard since it's more expensive. |

It's a bloody bargain that's why. £11 for 39 songs is great - anyone can see that.
But I think for the album, amazon is more important, they'll sell more physicals than digital copies. |
