Mad to see 3 Brits seeded. Let's hope one of them has a long-ish run in the tournament (instead of all going out round 1!)

Johanna Konta has been ruled out of Wimbledon on the eve of the tournament because one of her team has tested positive for Covid.
Konta, who was seeded 27th, has been deemed a close contact and must therefore isolate for 10 days. |

He can still remember his first appearance at Centre Court with pride and build on it following his performance against Djokovic. Definitely not disgraced in defeat.

Probably the biggest collapse I've seen on Centre Court. Murray choked was 5-0 up in the third set and set to win and lost the third 7-5.

He couldn't do it from 5-0. Can he do this set from 5-3?

So disappointed to see Heather Watson go out round one.
Hoping Norrie and Evans can get a good run for the Brits |

It's just like old times with Andy Murray disrupting the planned BBC1 schedule. I didn't see much of his match with all the football going on.

That was heartbreaking for Serena.
Still a Williams in the draw. What a performance at 41 from Venus. I dont imagine she'll go much further but bravo Disappointed to see Norrie lose the first set of his match. His opponent is a former top 10 player so could see him going out - especially after he lost the set from being a break up and having set points in the tie-breaker. |

It was brilliant to see Murray then. Really felt like he was throwing it back. Excellent performance after the roof went up. What a match!

It felt like rewinding at least 5 years watching a tense late-night Murray match again. Amazing scenes with the crowd back on Centre Court too!

Some great performances from the Brits today - Norrie and Evans need to use this opportunity to cement their rankings
Boulter put up a great challenge and has shown enough to expect a climb in rankings over the next few months Murray’s next match will be a big test - just seeing him play though is great |
