How is it going to work with acts like dance troupes and choirs which rely on lots of people being close together? Are they all going to have to withdraw?

How is it going to work with acts like dance troupes and choirs which rely on lots of people being close together? Are they all going to have to withdraw? I imagine that they would have to go into a "bubble" together prior to the show if they can, but for those with a greater number of members, they may have to be more creative with how they present themselves, which might be easier for a choir to perform in separate places, less so for a dance act. |

Will the Royal Variety be happening this year too which is what the winner gets to appear on? idk if this has been covered or not.

It's been confirmed they'll still appear on the Royal Variety, so I guess it is? Or maybe they'll just perform at the next one whenever it happens 😅
I can't see there being a series next year tbh - unless it takes The X Factor slot |

The "lives" will be pre-recorded with a virtual audience. Intruiged as to how this will all go!

Simon Cowell will now not be returning at all for BGT, and he will be replaced - I wonder who it'll be?

Good choice. He’s been through the experience himself and he’s pretty likeable and can give some constructive feedback too as seen on Dancing on Ice.

Recap show "Britain's Got Talent: The Finalists Revealed" airs next Sunday at 18:30! It of course shows the deliberation and who went through

Hmm not sure what to think about this! It definitely won't be as interesting with the judges sending one through

Decent selection for the semis I think, all my favourites bar Noise Next Door made it through. Glad Lioz and D Day Juniors are out although I would have liked Amanda & Miracle and the phone magician (already forgotten his name oops) to join them.
I also stand by my prediction that they've only put Dario the Dinosaur through so that they've got someone to buzz off in the Semis. |

The Noise Next Door pulled out unfortunately! Hopefully they can return another year as they were one of my favourites

Honestly overall it seems like quite a weak selection for the semis :/ too many choirs as well! (of all the years to have them in as well )
Tonight's lineup: Diversity are the guest performers Fayth Ifil Imen Siar James & Dylan Piper James Stott SOS from the Kids Steve Royle Urban Turtles Yakub I predict the judges will put through Fayth (though I hope they don't put all the golden buzzers through), and Steve Royle or James Stott will win the public vote. |

Looking forward to Yakub / James & Dylan Piper out of that lot. I think Fayth would win the public vote even if the Judges didn't put her through though!
I'm sure Urban Turtles will put on a good show but they wouldn't have gotten through if they weren't dressed as turtles, we could have done with a few more dance troupes in the semis (although maybe Covid put pay to that) |
