January's series sees a vaudeville theme!

QUOTE
"The famous house has undergone a major costume change, and housemates will be transported to a striking and theatrical setting which echoes the vaudeville theatres of a bygone era," producers promise.

"As they take their cue to enter the house, the celebrities will descend down a majestic staircase, leading to glamorous rooms made up of rich opulent textures and packed with intriguing curiosities."

"Big Brother may have set the scene of a decadent, antiquated world, but behind the performance there are hints at a grittier undertone…what lurks in the shadows?" Channel 5 teases. "The Housemates will discover that there will be unwelcome surprises in store.

"The BB garden has been transformed into a Whitechapel style foggy street scene with a Victorian pub snug which will provide a hidden corner for sharing secrets and backstage backstabbing."

Looks good, and I'm glad they're teasing it earlier again!

Posted by: MrIndependent 7th December 2015, 12:09 PM

I will watch it eagerly if Lady C is in it.

It's been a long time since I watched this. I might tune in anyway and see what I think of it. I loved BB/CBB when I was a kid and then I got bored of it.

Posted by: Liаm 7th December 2015, 01:17 PM

Lady C had her time in I'm A Celeb.

Speaking of I'm A Celeb, I will genuinely consider giving the series a miss entirely if bloody Jimmy Bullard ends up in it as I fear he might sad.gif

Bianca Del Rio better be in and shut the whole competition down.

Would be my favourite booking EVER.

Posted by: Davidson 7th December 2015, 03:59 PM

This is the rumoured line up (apparently):

Bianca Del Rio (RuPaul's Drag Race Winner)
Scott Disick (Keeping Up With The Kardashians Star)
Kristina Rihanoff (Strictly Come Dancing)
Brian Capron (Actor)
Margaret Cho (Comedian)
Melanie Sykes (TV Presenter)
Bobby Norris (TOWIE Star)
Laila Morse (Eastenders Actress)
Dominic Wood (Children's TV Presenter)
Lisa Riley (Emerdale Actress)
Rachel Christie (Miss England 2009 & Love Island Star)
Vanilla Ice (Rapper)R
James Lock (TOWIE Star)
Lillie Lexie (Fashion Designer & Reality TV Star)

No idea how accurate it is. I feel like some (Scott, Bianca) may be too good to be true and I don't want to get my hopes up. Also would they really put two TOWIE stars in the same cast? Seems a bit much. I don't see any prostitutes or people with sex tapes either so that is making me massively question it. Hmm, all I care about is Bianca

Posted by: Martyn 7th December 2015, 05:45 PM

The unwelcome surprises makes me think there will be an Upstairs/Downstairs style set up. Or Rich side / poor side.

Posted by: Jack 7th December 2015, 06:47 PM

Selina from The Apprentice is a MUST <3.

That would be such a good cast! I feel like Bianca, Scott, Margaret and Lisa would amazing!!! but I agree there are a few too many there that sound too good to be true, and too many fairly big names laugh.gif

Michelle Visage said in a podcast with Shane Dawson that "People think Bianca and Willam are in it but they're not. Bianca has NO interest in ever doing it."
Interesting that she said nothing about Willam. Could be a red hearing. Michelle denied going in when she did.. she appreciates discretion. So I wouldn't count Bianca out either.
I haven't seen any Willam rumours tho.

She was a legend on Flavor of Love and I Love New York. I expect quite a few disagreements there with her in the show. She doesn't hold back at all.

Posted by: Liаm 31st December 2015, 04:16 PM

William Hill have the following odds currently, obv there are more celebs on here than there will be housemates but it's a decent collation of the rumours:

4/1 Scarlet Moffatt
11/2 Bianca Del Rio
11/2 Scotty T
7/1 Jonathan Cheban
7/1 Spencer Matthews
8/1 David Gest
8/1 Lady C
10/1 Dappter Laughs
10/1 Gemma Collins
10/1 Megan McKenna
10/1 Scott Disick
12/1 Ola Jordan
12/1 Vanilla Ice
16/1 Daniella Westbrook
16/1 Kristina Rhianoff
16/1 Rachel Christie
16/1 Stephanie Davis
20/1 Darren Day
20/1 Koo Stark
20/1 Nancy Dell'olio

Posted by: · jerusalina · 1st January 2016, 05:13 AM

omg at bianca being pretty much a sure thing i want to cry. and scarlett moffatt!!!!!

Posted by: LexDANCE 1st January 2016, 08:10 PM

I know these things are able to be rearranged but apparently Bianca has gigs booked up until the 9th (although they're all in the UK so I guess she could be a late entrant) so she's looking less likely. Willam seems to be being rumoured in her place a lot recently which in that case is a masterclass in throwing people off the scent lmao

Posted by: Liаm 1st January 2016, 11:25 PM

Got excited thinking the line-up had leaked, someone looked into the HTML on the site but a DS thread is convinced it's fake.

nevertheless, this is he line-up it said, which is pretty believable for the most part, a couple of them haven't yet been rumoured and they aren't the sort of people you would think to make up tbh:

Anneka Rice (presenter; Challenge Anneka etc)
Darren Day (actor)
Gemma Collins (TOWIE)
Jake Lloyd (actor; Star Wars (one of the older ones obv))
Jonathan Cheban (Kim Kardashian's "best friend")
Kirsten O'Brien (presenter)
Kristina Rhianoff (Strictly Come Dancing pro)
Laila Morse (actress; Big Mo in Eastenders)
Nadyia Suleman (Octomom)
Nancy Dell'olio (Sven Goran-Eriksson's ex)
Roy Haylock (BIANCA DEL RIO <3)
Scott Disick (Kourtney Kardashian's ex)
Vanilla Ice (rapper)

Scott's rehab problems probably rule him out though which is why I'm a bit suspcious? Either way that would actually be a good line-up tbh.

What's happened to Tiffany, considering the Daily Star (who are usually right in with Big Brother) reported it I thought it was 99% going to be true!

What's happened to Tiffany, considering the Daily Star (who are usually right in with Big Brother) reported it I thought it was 99% going to be true!

They (or another paper, can't remember), seemed to think both Daniella Westbrook and Steph Davis were going in for sure and they'd already clashed, I remember that the other day now you mention it, which also rings alarm bells, but I'm unsure who'd make up some of these rumours laugh.gif We'll see very soon I guess!

Posted by: Ryan. 2nd January 2016, 03:58 PM

Well Tiffany is flying somewhere according to https://www.instagram.com/p/BAA_XMcLtNi/, hopefully it is to London! kink.gif

Posted by: Liаm 2nd January 2016, 04:54 PM

Koo Stark won't be appearing as she's pulled out last minute, but the same has been said of Jake Sims. I hope the latter doesn't appear anyway :/

Posted by: troylovesmusic 3rd January 2016, 12:19 AM

The Line up according to the Daily Star
Danniella Westbrook
Christopher Maloney
Nancy Dell’Olio
David Gest
Gemma Collins
Angie Bowie
Kristina Rihanoff
Megan McKenna
Stephanie Davis
John Partridge
Scotty T
Jeremy McConnell
Winston McKenzie
Darren Day
Jonathan Cheban
Tiffany Pollard

Tbh I hope this line up is true as most of these people will be car crash TV if they went in biggrin.gif

Yuck at Christopher Maloney though sick2.gif

Posted by: HausofTroye 3rd January 2016, 12:26 AM

That seems like a really good line up! Totally absurd pairings and should be explosive. Some really love and especially HATE figures so bring it on biggrin.gif

CHRISTOPHER f***ING MALONEY c**t OFF

Crap line-up sad.gif Looking forward to Daniella and Stephanie though.

Posted by: Ryan. 3rd January 2016, 12:32 AM

Not the most famous names bar a couple but there is no doubt that they've casted it incredibly well if they want an explosive series, which of course they do!

Posted by: Jonjowman ⛄ 3rd January 2016, 12:36 AM

Tiffany is going to be amazing TV. She was the reason why I stayed up to watch 'Flavor Of Love' on MTV back in OH NINE.

wub.gif

Posted by: jase. 3rd January 2016, 03:55 AM

I've read that Tiffany has calmed down a lot these days which is just as well because she wouldn't last five minutes in that house if she was still the same laugh.gif

Posted by: Mack 3rd January 2016, 10:26 AM

Not Christopher Baloney what has he done of any significance such X Factor 2012?

I know this probably wouldn't happen but imagine if Pumpkin was in the house with Tiffany as well.

Posted by: Oliver 3rd January 2016, 02:27 PM

I might just watch this for Scotty T alone. From what he's done on Geordie Shore and the fact it's Channel 5, he could be up for doing anything. wub.gif

Posted by: Jack 3rd January 2016, 04:47 PM

New York is enough reason to make me watch this series.

I think Gemma and Stephanie will make for good TV too. Probably Daniella as well.

Posted by: Davidson 3rd January 2016, 05:44 PM

I mean it's hardly the biggest names but there are some massive characters in there. I'm at least looking forward to Tiffany, Daniella, Gemma and Nancy anyway.

Some real hate figures in there too. Can see a lot of crowd boo'ing this series laugh.gif

Posted by: Liаm 3rd January 2016, 06:57 PM

Official Photos have been leaked/released and the rumoured lineup is all confirmed.

Gotta say, as much as I doubt they'll ever come close to the brilliance of last January, this looks like some stellar casting for the most part.

Posted by: Ryan. 5th January 2016, 05:22 PM

Yeh it seems like an interesting line-up, a few fillers in there but that's to be expected. Is Christopher in there purely because of Daniella because it's an odd time to put him in otherwise ie he's not been in the papers really since X Factor. Also, it's strange that they've got two Eastenders actors who've worked together.

lol at Megan saying she was in a Twitter feud with Ellie Goulding as if that's her saying she's made it, when they didn't even interact on there.

Winston to be first out plz.

Whatever happened to limiting the TOWIE-esq reality show people? It seems they've gone back to throwing in other Reality Show/Soap Star people. Disappointing because the last two seasons were so strong.

I just want the DoucheBro's (Jeremy/ScottieT) to merge into one person and self evict. I don't find Jeremy attractive at all, I like tattoo's, but that is a little overboard.

Based on last night - Final 2 should be Tiffany and John. John was so sweet.
Also Angie *.*
I think Danniella is going to bring it. Good casting choice there.

I remember him being entertaining on I'm a Celebrity, but I am trying to remember if it was in a cuntish way or not.

It was in an absolutely charming way. He was NOTHING like what people were led to believe (given his weird wedding to Liza Minelli - and perhaps his slightly odd looks). He was loved by everyone else in there, threw himself into every task he was asked to do (was bloody good in some of his bush-tucker trials as well), told entertaining stories about his oddly-named house-maid, never made fun or was nasty to other camp-mates. In all - he's probably in the top 5 of the best ever IAC contestants.

I knew he was either really nice, or really annoying. I went the wrong way.

Its all a little boring right now. Its too noisy. I want to hear what people are saying. The only bits I've liked so far are David talking to Angie and John, Darren and Daniella in the box.

Posted by: Davidson 6th January 2016, 09:59 PM

Yeah, a bit of a boring first show but first nights are all a bit all over the place.

Tiffany learning that Gemma's name was in fact Gemma was such a highlight laugh.gif

Can they please not ruin a potentially brilliant series with a showmance ALREADY :/

Really liking Tiffany, Gemma and David after episode 1 ~

Tiffany and Gemma are the stars of the show for me right now. I will never get the Gemma hate, she is so unintentionally hilarious laugh.gif.

I also really like David, Jonathan and Stephanie so far.

Posted by: Froot. 6th January 2016, 10:15 PM

Yeh, first episodes are always a bit all over the place due to everyone being in this adrenaline rush and not really knowing each other (although there's a lot of connections this year~). The first episodes have been a lot better of Channel 5 though as they rush through the previous nights events whereas I remember Channel 4 usually took up at least half the episode with the housemates coming in, ie what we'd already mostly seen.

lol at Gemma trying to sort out a romance just so she can have a bed by herself.

Yeah I must echo the Tiffany/Gemma/David love! Definitely my three favourites at the moment. Don't really like Winston and Scotty didn't sell himself well to me in his VT but beyond that, I don't dislike anyone.

Someone put it correct on another site when they said Scotty has 'bellend' written all over him!

Stephanie and Gemma are my early favourites! Both shone for me so much in that episode.

If he wasn't from Geordie Shore, say he was some randomer from a US show, there'd be no way he'd be so lauded. It's just "LAD!!! BANTER!!!!!", h might be somewhat amusing but I just think the OTT reaction will put me off.

I'm both annoyed and a little bit in love with Gemma in equal measures! I'm hoping the reason she's angling for a romance and bedshare between that girl she was talking to and Bellend is because she wants a bed to herself!

She's increasingly reminding me of Diana Dors as well. Good gosh - if they ever do a TV film of Diana Dors' life - they've got to consider Gemma to portray her.

Posted by: Aaron. 7th January 2016, 01:50 AM

Not really buying the "Well it's the first night... so..." crap. We've had amazing first nights on both Civilian and Celebrity Big Brothers before. This cast just sucks. That's all it is.
I think with we've seen all we're going to get from the likes of Daniella (Passive Aggressive with Chris & Snarky), Gemma (Flakey, Non-Threatening and Likeable) and the Invisible Edits from Scotty T and Jeremy.

I don't think we're in for any surprises this year, everyone has their parts and I think for the most part, they're playing them.
I think Tiffany, David and Angie are probably the most likely to be given a character development edit.. everyone else will just be as is from what we've seen so far.

Posted by: Davidson 7th January 2016, 09:58 PM

Very uncomfortable viewing already.

Why did they even put him in when he made both homophobic and creepy sexist remarks on his VT in the first place? No one enjoyed Ken Morley the first time round.

Posted by: Cameron 7th January 2016, 09:58 PM

That was very uncomfortable. His Homophobic comments were uncalled for. Was he trying to do something sexual with Tiffany whilst she had been drinking? Is that not him taking advantage of her? That shouldn't be allowed...

Posted by: Mack 7th January 2016, 10:00 PM

That was completely vile from Winston. Homophobic comments were disgusting that lecherous behaviour towards Tiffany was uncomfortable and vile. He should be removed.

Winston is an absolute horrific f*cking I'm not going to post the word kink.gif Absolutely horrific and disgusting housemate, hope he is evicted, or even better kicked out before Friday!

Loving Gemma so much though heart.gif

Posted by: Ryan. 7th January 2016, 10:03 PM

I wasn't 100% listening admittedly so may have missed the exact quote that has riled people up but I thought what Winston said in his VT was worse than what he said today. Of course it's a stupid opinion and principle to have that he refuses to share a bed with another man, but I think a significant number of men in this country would also refuse to ever share a bed with another man. Although of course based on what else we have heard from Winston in said VT shows that he does have homophobic views so does put what he said today in a different context so I agree with you all there. What he was doing to Tiffany and Nancy was creepy though so it was uncomfortable whichever way you look at it.

I'm liking the friendship group consisting of Tiffany, Jonathan and Gemma. Tiffany is of course fantastic and I hope she gets more airtime as the numbers get whittled down, and I'm finding Jonathan a pleasant surprise. I hope the group of Scotty, Jeremy, Megan and Stephanie don't hog the airtime because the flirting is boring already.

Posted by: Jack 7th January 2016, 10:06 PM

I really hope Gemma turns her public perception of her around, she is such a funny genuine person! She has so many one liners too ''I thought gruel was a made up thing that they used in Oliver Twist!'' laugh.gif.

Posted by: Liаm 7th January 2016, 10:09 PM

I think most of the public would be decent enough to just share if it came to it, they'd probably rather not in many cases, but being so militant about it and preferring to sleep on the floor as if it would make you gay (and being gay is soooo wrong....) to sleep in the same bed as a man is ridiculous.

And I love Gemma too, she's just one of those people who keeps coming out with unintentionally hilarious things basically every time she speaks, she's so amusing even when she's just talking about normal things and not trying to be!

QUOTE(Maurice @ Jan 7 2016, 09:57 PM) *

Posted by: Taylor Jago 8th January 2016, 11:02 PM

Emma definitely handled that interview very well. Whenever a vile person is on the opposite seat, she handles them to perfection.

Posted by: Ryan. 8th January 2016, 11:03 PM

Once again I hate to be the one "sticking up" for Winston (I don't like him at all don't get me wrong), but I feel his treatment by Big Brother has been slightly unfair in that his swift downfall from the house has been from something that Big Brother has orchestrated via that task. It felt that Winston's "confession statement" in that task was way harsher than everyone else's, especially when I imagine a few of them could have had much worse things on their statements.

That said, he shouldn't have these views in the first place and all this wouldn't have happened, but it does feel that he's been slightly stitched up. His entire interview was about something he didn't even say while in the house and I'm not quite sure that's entirely fair, but I'm glad Emma did press him for an answer even if she dragged it out a bit too long. I seem to remember most people saying Tila shouldn't have been removed from the house last time round due to the things she said outside the house, and this sort of applies here too surely? But I'm glad his views have been argued with anyhow as they do need to be criticised.

Posted by: Froot. 8th January 2016, 11:06 PM

I just don't understand the point of putting him in the house?

What Ryan said. laugh.gif

Posted by: Jack 8th January 2016, 11:07 PM

Tila's was something to do with her WAY before and was something she went through when she was going through depression so is not comparable in the slightest. She is ashamed of that time too if I remember correctly.

Like Angie (I think?) said, it's the way he reacted to that comment like he was proud of himself almost. I don't think Big Brother can be to blame, he brought it on himself with how he acted prior to that task as well really.

Posted by: Ryan. 8th January 2016, 11:10 PM

That's fair enough if that's the case, I'm not sure on the timescales of when these things were said and what Tila's views were now.

Still, like Froot says it seems there was no point in putting him in the house when his elimination centred around something said outside of it but there we go, his views were still wrong and needed challenging!

Posted by: Jack 8th January 2016, 11:12 PM

No, I do see where you're coming from. I think they did it to make it a talking point and for ratings initially tbh.

Posted by: Liаm 8th January 2016, 11:22 PM

Oh definitely, they knew damn well who they're putting in, especially from what he said in his VT. Homphobia is sadly easier for them to get away with broadcasting than racism (as that always ends up in ejections) so it's clear why they put them him in there... I know some people on their VTs lie/exaggerate their personality or views but it was clear he wasn't from what he said in the house. It's just not the outside stuff, it's the stuff about gay adoption and sharing a bed with a man too. Even if he didn't have those views, there's the utter creepiness around women too, I'd have definitely wanted him out over Nancy and Kristina even if he wasn't homophobic.

Yes definitely, it definitely feels like he was a disposable housemate in that they could create a big talking point around him and they didn't waste any time in doing so! But of course in today's Big Brother world we have to expect outside interference to play a big part so I shouldn't be too surprised.

From what I've read about the man and what was revealed in that 'twist' (or the 'secrets' thing that led to it) I find him rather distasteful. Sure - he's allowed to have his opinions but to make a claim that a child being adopted by gay parents is the same as 'child-abuse' is just obscene. Having said that - this was something that was said in the past - and I don't see why this rather horrible comment was brought to light in the house (at this early stage). All the other 'secrets' that were revealed were rather innocuous - but his was truly contentious and out of kilter with the other rather silly secrets. They could have had a more harmless secret to reveal for the 'game' but they had to use this one. Don't get me wrong - I think he should have gone (and would have done quite soon - I still think the public had voted Nancy out just because she's so bloody boring) but the house-mates should have been left to discover Winston's views over time - not have it thrust in their faces at this point.

The whole thing (as ever with BB and IAC for that matter) was orchestrated.

Posted by: Scherz 8th January 2016, 11:41 PM

They put him in the house because he's a controversial figure with those statements that he made.
It could have been a great opportunity for him to give further context into the comments. Instead, he got his back up about it, tried to backpedal and instead made himself look worse.

Big Brother mentioned other personal things like past relationships, drug abuse, plastic surgeries to other housemates.. He wasn't singled out with a 'harsher' confession. Apart from making bigoted statements this guy probably hasn't done much else to confess to. You can't make a statement like that and then say it's too harsh to bring it up. It's harsh to say it, not reveal that he said it.

Big Brother provided the rope, he hung himself!

But they were exactly that - they were statements about themselves - something that Joe Public couldn't really give a stuff about. I don't give a shit about how many hair transplants Maloney has had, how many boob jobs Daniella has had, how many members of 1D that someone dated - but I do care that someone holds those views about Gay persons adopting children. The 'secret' that was revealed in Winston's comment was something that a lot of us have a view on (and for those of us with an ounce of common-sense - find totally abhorrent).

Posted by: troylovesmusic 8th January 2016, 11:53 PM

It's obvious that they brought Winston in the house just for the publicity as they knew his views before entering the house. It seems to have worked as Winston is a trending topic worldwide on Twitter .

Posted by: Scherz 8th January 2016, 11:57 PM

It wasn't statements about themselves, Big Brother revealed things that they may be ashamed of.. Things they've said or done. But that's what they're famous for and we know they're famous for. Celebrity train wrecks! He's famous for being an outspoken arsehole MP who ran for UKIP! What else could they have said?! As soon as it was revealed, Kristina even said "yes it's Winston" because she probably had read it previously. It wasn't a secret, one Google search brings up every abhorrent thing that man has ever said.

Posted by: Mack 9th January 2016, 12:04 AM

It's a shame that Channel 5 thought that it would be entertaining to include someone with archaic views about gay people. Full credit to Emma though for that interview and doing her utmost to make sure that he didn't wiggle his way out of what he had said. We haven't heard the last of this I'm sure.

Surely then - Gemma, Christopher, John, and at least all the British house-mates should already have been aware of his statement ... and yet from the look of horror on their faces ... one could almost believe this was the first time they'd ever heard it!

Wow. That Interview. Go Emma!
I wonder if Winston would have gone had it just been a regular vote, but I'm glad he got voted out by the housemates. It's about time they got some balls.
What's with the editing tho? I'm sure outside of Angie's reaction, the rest of the housemates would have been at least TALKING about the Adoption comment.. especially John. But they're not going to show it?
It's like from earlier this week, when I think it was Johnathan and Angie going at it.. mysteriously.. no camera's caught Angie saying what she did to Johnathan?

I do think there was a witch hunt to get Winston out by Big Brother. I don't see why they needed to tell him off in the Diary Room. We've seen people do far worse for no repercussions at all.

However, I do think his statement is vile and I'm glad he's gone.

Does anyone else think that Winston would have been safe in the votes, which is why they engineered in that eviction twist? unsure.gif

And of course Big Brother "stitched him up". The show is about people's opinions and how they live and interact with each other. Why wouldn't they bring that comment up? The show is made to see how people with differing views interact, it's why we watch the show and it's why they showed that comment to get discussion and debate going in the house. Would be a very boring show if they didn't engineer in some drama. They should have made a big deal out of it and rightfully he got the treatment he deserved. I can imagine gay parents watching the show with their children, or gay people trying to start a family and comments like that are horrific and damaging to people in serious ways. Good riddance. He is entitled to his views, but the way he worded that is beyond vile.

I just don't see the point in putting him in there, giving him a platform he doesn't deserve based on his views on women and gay people, when you've planned to kick him out after three days and only focus on comments he's made outside of the house.

If the intention was to make him think twice, it's not worked as he's clearly someone who is deeply embedded in his views, always thinking he's right and will not change. It was clear from his reactions to the warning, the housemates, the crowd and the interviews that he doesn't care.

Yeah I was thinking that too, I think maybe Nancy was looking like being evicted and they wanted to be sure Winston would go to avoid any more controversy etc, and he carried on he'd probably have been kicked out anyway.

I don't have to know Angie or her family. It's common sense, what is the point of her staying her in the house at this difficult period when she should be around her family.

She will regret this decision for the rest of her life. You'll see she will just mope about for the remainder of her time in the house, not be entertaining in the slightest and still not win.

Edit: And why did you only respond to my comment when Pippa basically said the same thing as me?

God C5 will do anything for ratings, I find it very tasteless that they showed her being told :/

Also it's nothing to do with anybody else what Angie decides to do. It's obviously a difficult situation as she hasn't spoken to her son in 20 years and obviously hasn't spoken t mi David for longer. Of course she's naturally going to be upset but it's a unique situation that we can't really judge.

I think what they showed was probably her chatting in the diary room after being told (which she/her team would've ok'd for broadcast no doubt). I think it was really tasteless to use it as a 'next time' promo, but if Angie agreed I don't see the problem in using it for the show itself.

I don't judge Angie for staying. We don't know her situation fully, so there's no need to cast judgement.

I know Angie was overcome with grief but she should have just said David Bowie. I mean Tiffany might not even know or make the connection, it might not have registered. If someone said "David is dead" to her and she thought there's a dead person in the house, her mind is probably gonna be slightly messed up too laugh.gif It's nobody's fault, it's a difficult situation. Tiffany did ruin it by storming it further though, it would have been fine if she was like "oh sorry complete misunderstanding" but I also don't think they should have reacted like that before she exploded.

John is pissing me right off, I can't stand HMs like this who get involved and control every situation. Especially saying she "has" to go, she is equal to him, probably being paid about the same. It's so immature to say stuff like "you need to go" and "you go or we do".

Tiffany's behaviour is horrendous following on from her learning the truth. Angie has lost someone but of course it's all about Tiffany.

Posted by: Liаm 12th January 2016, 09:31 PM

I typed that while they were going OTT over the first instance, I understand it now but I just think that they overreacted too in the first instance, although she did wreck it all by going really over the edge afterwards. All of them are pissing me off laugh.gif Well, most of them as of course some haven't spoken. Tiffany really should have just been like "ok misunderstanding" and it probably would have been fine, but she isn't helping by going off about it when she now knows that it was a misunderstanding. I wouldn't be surprised if she got ejected either if there are enough complaints, they're still being super careful with complaints which is undersrandable.

I really don't think C5 should be airing ALL of this, I know Angie gave permission to broadcast her reaction to being told but it seems quite insensitive to use his death and the surrounding events for a dramatic highlgihts show. Then again they don't surprise me any more laugh.gif

Posted by: Jack 12th January 2016, 09:34 PM

I'm sure the same thing happened when Michael Jackson died? I'm not excusing Tiffany's behaviour at all, but it could have been handled in such better taste.

I agree with the general sentiment that it seems rather insensitive and certainly uncomfortable to watch but at the same time I don't think they could've not shown it sadly. The effect on the house afterwards is just too big.

They could've handled it differently but it's just hindsight really, don't think anyone saw this situation occurring.

Posted by: Liаm 12th January 2016, 09:44 PM

Yeah they weren't supposed to be told about Michael Jackson, Federico from BB4 did a task with Noirin and told her but he wasn't supposed to, then because she knew BB let her tell the house. I'm fairly sure she asked BB in the diary room and they let her.

Exactly, this is the huge difference between C5 BB and C4. Even though it's just small things like how they handle instances like this, it shows that drama and ratings comes above the wellbeing of housemates. I understand its sensitive to Angie that she had to be told this in the house, and it's not BB's place to decide who is and isn't told but I think expecting her to deal with it all, people asking her what's wrong etc. is too much to expect her to deal with and they were asking for something or another to kick off by handling it like this.

Of course their handling off it doesn't change or excuse what anybody does as a result, and they couldn't predict what would happen but as easy as it is to say in hindsight, it just seems to have been handled badly. But I think of the various ways they could have shown the event, each one would have had some drawbacks really.

I sadly wouldn't underestimate the popularity of Scotty T amongst the Viacom demographic but in saying that he hasn't actually had much of a presence outside the Stephanie/Jeremy/him/Megan little clique getting a bit of a airtme. People are comparing him to Charlotte because of his origins but she had much more of an inidivual presence, he actually reminds me more of Ricci personally. He's not done anything that made me dislike him apart from be a bit of a knob in his VT but he's not done anything to make me like him either.

Exactly, I'd appreciate it if he handled it well but he just came across as a right knob. Gemma is the only one who handled the resulting chaos well. She understood that Tiffany affected everyone but still tried to calmly sort it and help out. She's my clear favourite too, she always seems to be present but t's a good thing, she always something to contribute that's wise in her own little way or (more often than not) hilarious! Ok then fair enough. All I know is that as i'm watching this on Channel 5 +1 right now it feels really sad and uncomfortable to see.

Posted by: Ryan. 12th January 2016, 10:42 PM

Tiffany overreacted once she found out the misunderstanding for sure, but she does have a very temperamental (not sure if that's the right word) personality as shown by the infamous gifs of her previous shows and everyone did immediately "gang up" on her once Angie returned to the house (I know they were just trying to calm her down but it's understandable to see how she would feel that way) so I'm sure she was just trying to defend herself. I'm also glad she did realise in the end that actual issue at hand and apologised to Angie, and that exchange was lovely. Tiffany should've got to grips with the actual situation much quicker though of course. Angie was completely blameless as of course she only had one David on her mind, and wouldn't think to specify which one - at the same time when you are in a house 24/7 completely isolated it's understandable that Tiffany and the other housemates would immediately think the David they've been living with for a week.

The real let-downs in the episode for me were the grouping of John, Danniella and Kristina who completely overreacted with their "get her out of the house" "I don't feel safe around her" comments. I really dislike the superiority John seems to think he has over the house. Pleasant surprise for me was Christopher who actually thought to fix the situation, it's just a shame he didn't manage to finish the job and that John managed to have the last word yet again.

But at the end of the day Tiffany's behaviour wasn't "disgusting", it was insensitive following the revelation of the actual truth but I can understand how she felt that way. And I'm not like Tiffany's #1 fan in the whole world as I've never even seen her previous reality shows, I just like her gifs (and I'm liking her in the house too)! heehee.gif

After the way they all went on about it with 'I don't feel safe', you would've thought Tiffany had punched someone in the face.

The fact that most of them ignored Tiffany and Angie took her apology when she was the one who was grieving and accepted it says something.

Posted by: Ryan. 12th January 2016, 10:55 PM

Exactly, and I think it makes the John-led witch hunt look even more spiteful and unnecessary. John is obviously playing the game beginning with that selflessness on the first night with The Box and going in it himself. And then today, he knew that he could come out of that situation looking like a "hero" if he'd manage to get rid of Tiffany who they are so scared to be around, but now Angie has showed such graciousness to Tiffany's apology, he comes out of it looking the worst for me.

And I don't mind people playing the game, but I don't like pretend peacemakers like John.

Exactly! However out of line Tiffany was, and she was out of line for going OTT and out of control like that, it says a lot more about those who ignored her still when all was said and done. I can just about understand the chaos that happened in the thick of it all, but hours later when Tiffany had apologised to Angie I don't see how and why the others can be so immature. At the end of the day it's Angie's loss, she's the only one who had a right to be offended like that. The worst Tiffany did towards the likes of John and Kristina were be a bit loud in their presence, it's to do with her and Angie.

Posted by: Mack 12th January 2016, 11:12 PM

C5 once again like Liam said putting drama and some controversy behind the well-being of the housemates. Tiffany shouldn't have laughed at all about Davids' death. This shouldn't have gone that far. Goodness knows what that is going to Angie. Surely John should have told the house immediately when the situation escalated. This again wouldn't be the last time we've heard about this at all and Ofcom may get involved. Sorry I tried with this series but after tonight that is not my way of entertainment in reality TV.

100% agree.

Tiffany came across really badly but her apology did seem sincere at the end.

John and Kristina were awful. John especially since he couldn't stand up to Winston over his much more horrific comments. Also, did something else happen? I couldn't understand why they were saying 'we don't feel safe with her anymore?' An overreaction to a mistake doesn't make them in danger?

The only people who came across well today were Angie and Gemma.

Posted by: Snowbot 13th January 2016, 12:07 AM

I'm agreeing mostly with this last page but I'd be lying if I said I didn't find the whole thing funny. I know it was meant to be serious but it just went from one thing to another and I couldn't help but laugh. It'd take a completely blind loon to defend Tiffany wholly, of course, the initial confusion was completely understandable (even Darren thought it'd be David Gest) but her refusal to apologise did really disappoint me. Sure, she did it in the end and I did feel a sense that it was genuine, but it really should've come around a lot quicker. Has it dented my opinion of Tiffany? Yes. Majorly? No.

I have to echo the confusion at the bizarre reactions of "not feeling safe" though. Why? She was quite self-centered but there was nothing remotely threatening about her behaviour at all. And once ring leader John jumped on board, it escalated into more and more odd behaviour as the whole thing continued. I can't stand John, and his way of trying to be holier than thou. People like Christopher had the right response to it, he wasn't approving, but he didn't feel the need to jump up and stick his two cents in like he was the boss of it all, every 2 seconds.

I don't think the chicken comment was racist though, to his defence, out of context it looks it, but I'd imagine there's probably something normal to it, like she actually DOES eat chicken. He's a bit controlling but I don't get a vibe from him that he'd make a flippant racist comment like that.

Gemma wanting her heels back though >>>>. WINNER.

I also feel confused about the whole thing, it would appear that Tiffany must have said or done something that wasn't shown. Watching it back, there is an edit cut of Tiffany in the garden being consolled by the other housemates after finding out it wasn't in fact David Guest who had died and the first thing that is shown is Danniella walking away from her whilst saying that it is "disgusting to talk about anyone like that" and that she can "no longer talk to her" due to the comment that had just been said. I wonder why we weren't shown it.

First episode of the series I've watched tonight...

I can only agree with what's been said this last page or so, too! I'm surprised Tiffany apologised (and it actually coming off sincere too) at all tbh laugh.gif Yeah it was several hours late, but at least it was a proper apology (as well as apologising to Angie for her loss - which was really sweet) and not just some "Yeah. Sorry about that." I felt quite bad for her when she was making her way to Angie and she was apologising to everyone else on the way and all of them literally ignored and blanked her? WTF was that? And the whole dishes/tea thing, well she tried.

Gemma's such a brilliant mentor and I think her and Tiff will do great together. Love her whole thing about "making someone tea is like giving someone a grand" and Tiffany's reaction was priceless.

John is EXACTLY how I imagined him to be. As well as Daniella and Kristina tbh. Surely Kristina can't be allowed in there under the circumstances she's in? BB is known for being bad for stress and stuff :\

Nothing I can say that hasn't been said already, so I won't bother.
But did anyone catch Heroes and Villains last night? Top 20 CBB housemates with their titles.
Pretty mediocre list... didn't really deserve a special unless you're going to include civilian housemates. They could have just written an article nobody would read. What was with John as a commentator too :vom:

Posted by: Snowbot 13th January 2016, 02:58 AM

The more I watch Tiffany's OTT reaction to David Gest potentially dying, the more I find it impossible to take the rest of the show seriously. Maybe I should take it all more seriously, but it's too funny.

Posted by: Jack 13th January 2016, 08:51 AM

The reason Tiffany may have reacted the way she did is because she had a miscarriage before the show so death is probably a touchy subject for her.

Posted by: Froot. 13th January 2016, 01:16 PM

What a bizarre episode. Although this is when the show is at its best, when everything is natural.

I can't really add anything to the general consensus of what's already been said but I will add that I thought Gemma at the end was handling the situation perfectly and I have a lot of respect for her for that. I've always had a mixed feeling about her, mostly negative but I've been impressed with most of what I've seen of her in the house.

At least all the drama meant that we didn't have the showmances in this episode, aside from the last few moments.

Posted by: HausofTroye 13th January 2016, 06:50 PM

What did I just watch mellow.gif I don't know whether to cry or laugh or scream. I think i've just done all three.

Tiffany was totally in the wrong there, I cannot see any palpable reason to blame this on Angie. She is a grieving woman, people say things in the heat of the moment LET ALONE when you're just told your child's father has passed away. It would've been ok if once realising the mistake she backed down and apologised. But laughing about it, calling Angie an "old bitch", being aggressive towards her. That is sickening by any degree of the imagination.

I can't believe i'm saying this, but she is still one of my favourite housemates in there, but her behaviour last night is totally, totally unacceptable imo.

QUOTE(Cameron @ Jan 12 2016, 09:10 PM) *
Angie really should have said 'David Bowie'

And what about everything Tiffany SHOULDN'T have said????? A bit of perspective please.

(I haven't finished the episode yet, but very happy to see from comments in here that she does apologise! Left it far too late though..)

Posted by: Jack 13th January 2016, 06:55 PM

To be fair, watching it back, no one really gave her the opportunity to apologise. They just kept pushing her away from Angie.

And again, she is herself still grieving from a miscarriage which happened pretty soon prior to her appearance on CBB. I'm not making excuses and I agree she should have treated her with more respect, but it gives a bit of clarity on the situation.

Posted by: HausofTroye 13th January 2016, 07:08 PM

Watching on ~ John was really out of line too there.

Maloney shooting up in my estimations for trying to be peace keeper. He's been very pleasant in the house and I hope perceptions of him before the show don't impact too much.

Now that she has apologised, I really respect Angie for accepting it and hopefully this entire situation can be moved on from because it was very difficult to watch and Big Brother REALLY should've intervened sooner rather than willing on more drama from such a delicate situation.

Also Gemma heart.gif heart.gif

Posted by: Froot. 13th January 2016, 07:14 PM

I'm starting to think her reaction may have been an excessive defence mechanism (like she thought it made her look stupid or something) but I dunno, I'm no psychologist~

She was in the wrong anyway, there was no need to take it to such extremes against a woman who has just lost someone who played a huge part in her life.

Posted by: troylovesmusic 13th January 2016, 07:46 PM

I'm sorry but I don't really see what Tiffany done so wrong yes she was a bit OTT in her reaction and she probably should have apologised sooner when she found out but the whole house pretty much ganged up on her and told her they didn't feel safe around her while also telling her to leave so she probably thought she had to defend herself and snap back at them . She made a pretty honest and geunine mistake as it was very clear Angie only said David and not her Ex Husband or David Bowie . If anything I felt John came across a lot worse as he pretty much tried to start a witch hunt against her and isolated her from everyone in the house over a misunderstanding. The whole thing was HILARIOUS to watch though !

Didn't she say "no, i'm not apologising to that old bitch" at one point? tongue.gif

I also think this miscarriage could've made her MORE sympathetic to Angie because she knows what it's like to lose someone, but i'm not in a position to say how she should've been feeling after that horrible incident of course!

You must have missed the bits where she had to be held back from aggressively confronting a clearly fragile and upset woman, blatantly lying to housemates that Angie specified 'David Gest' when asked to clarify, calling her an "old bitch" after realising she was in fact grieving for her ex-husband and she (Tiffany) had misunderstood, not to mention denying she was in the wrong for hours and continuing to act obnoxiously in Angie's presence...

(And that's all from some clips I've seen so there's probably more. I'm not even watching the show but had to check out this episode!)

Also, I agree with Froot that the escalating events were mostly down to a very stubborn defence mechanism on Tiffany's part.

I saw all of that and and ok yes she could have handled the situation better in some parts but like I said she clearly felt attacked and ganged up by all the other housemates over something that was a complete mistunderstanding so lashed out and snapped back at them . I also don't think she lied intentionally about Angie saying David Gest either as it was in the heat of the moment and she probably just thought she said David Guest as no other David was specified to her.

She was told in the garden (by Daniella I think?) that David Bowie had in fact died and her immediate reaction was to tell everyone that she'd asked Angie if she was talking about David Gest, claiming Angie said she was. That is a lie and she made it intentionally in order to save face as she couldn't calm down, reflect and admit in that moment that she'd got it all wrong.

I don't know why you and others are making so many excuses for her. If it was Jeremy or some other lad-type who behaved as Tiffany did I imagine there'd be a very different reaction. tongue.gif

Exactly you're just reiterating my point that she was all pent up and legitamatley thought that David Guest had just died in the house that she was not thinking straight and probably just assumed that Angie said and meant David Guest . I liked the task, it was a very good idea that helped fit the theme of the series. The costumes where great and it's always interesting when the house is divided for a short while.

John though, thinks he just rules the house and he knows everything. It's odd to watch, he can come across quite patronising too.

According to Ofcom there have been 211 complaints for Tuesday night's episode.

'41 complaints over bullying towards Tiffany by other housemates'.

'154 complaints that it was in bad taste to televise Angie being told of David Bowie's death'.

'16 complaints objecting to Tiffany's hysterical reaction and subsequent aggression around misunderstanding of David Bowie / David Guest death'.

This just proves my point in what I was on about yes Tiffany could have dealt with the situation a bit better but the way the most of the housemates (mainly John) treated her afterwards in isolating her and basically telling her to leave over a misunderstanding was out of line .

Posted by: liamk97 14th January 2016, 04:46 PM

I can't see the complaints achieving anything though - it's not Big Brother's fault directly that Tiffany and John acted the way they did and I'm sure they'll have checked the rule book in regards to televising Angie being told of Bowie's passing because they'll have no doubt known it would cause a scandal.

Unfortunately - the way she went about it only made him appear to be a bit of a victim. Yeah I missed that too, but of course Megan was in the wrong there just as Tiffany was with her diary room rant a little earlier.

But everything else Megan said was exactly right, but I agree Kath that it could've made John look like the victim. I think luckily most fans are agreeing with Megan so John isn't coming out of it looking like the victim, but it was definitely a risky move from her that has seemingly paid off.

It's just Megan didn't need to bring 'ghetto' into it really.

I can only echo what's already been said about Megan. I'm so glad someone finally told John how it is. It's been needing to happen for days, it's just a shame it escalated so much because it might make him look like a victim and put her in bad light despite being in the right.

John and Kristina are still vile as ever. I'm not sure why Tiffany was entertaining John at the end there. Also, her comments about Gemma were disgusting. There was absolutely no need for that. I feel like she was just acting up for attention today, which is fair enough because it's a TV show/game at the end of the day.

Stephanie needs to go. She sits in the diary room crying about them making her look like a cheat etc. but then starts snuggling up to Jeremy as soon as she's out the diary room laugh.gif So contradictory!

Posted by: Cameron 14th January 2016, 11:34 PM

Completely agree, however out of line people can get when they're angry sadly that's human nature for some people. And I mean I don't thrive on people being hurt or being nasty, but I'd much rather watch stuff like that on TV. It's good to have normal likeable people like say Darren in there but he's so dull, I prefer to watch an argument blow up for half an hour, it makes the show more exciting and a talking point. Some episodes I don't really tweet anything or post in here because there just isn't anything happening. As much as the C5 version can be a mess, I still love when it's a talking point and we can discuss and debate on here, social media, DS etc.

Megan needs help but for our viewing, first and foremost, she was f***ing hilarious, melting in front of our eyes.

And amongst all the ridiculous over reaction, Megan was so right about John. I just hope it doesn't result in a "bullying the bully" kind of scenario where John ends up recieving popularity because people end up turning on him.

THE VEIN OF MEGAN'S NECK THOUGH

Posted by: Jack 15th January 2016, 08:22 AM

Yeah you're right there's no one as vile or as malicious as day Farrah, Katie Hopkins, Helen or Marc. They just all get heated when they're angry and are good people when it comes down to it.

Tiffany's rants in the Diary Room and how she's acting now are giving me New York teas 😍.

Posted by: Liаm 15th January 2016, 01:27 PM

I mean I don't agree with "fat c**t" or "ghetto c**t" but I have to agree with Rob. To watch, Tiffany and Megan are excellent. I shouldn't but I find it hilarious when people go off like that. I don't necessarily want to watch nice people... Darren for example is nice, but he's boring. I can't say I "support" Megan but I'd want to watch her over most of the others. I don't watch Big Brother to watch Darren Day have a cup of tea with Kristina Rhianoff. I'd rather somebody like Gemma who has a heart of gold and is entertaining won but an episode like this is so entertaining and it's what I love about BB, it creates a talking point.

Megan was entirely right though. Of course it was totally wrong for her to go off like that and break the world record for saying c**t in a small period of time, but without excusing her behaviour I don't think the alcohol helped laugh.gif But I'm glad that somebody has shouted at John and called him out, he sits there sneering at everyone if they so much as breathe, acting like he owns the place and I just love it when people like that get called out and cut down to size. I also hope it doesn't make a "bullying the bully" victim situation but I think people seem to dislike John still so it should be fine.

Posted by: Aaron. 15th January 2016, 01:48 PM

One of my favorite moments of last night was Big Brother kicking Stephanie out of the diary room in the middle of her 45-minute Rant/Cryfest.
I don't even think she realized that shit was going down in the house and that Big Brother wasn't actually listening to her, she just kept going. laugh.gif

Posted by: Jack 15th January 2016, 01:53 PM

Yeah that moment was priceless laugh.gif

I actually don't like it when it gets too nasty and vicious, like I couldn't stand the Helen and Farrah moments and it made me turn off. Same when Marc made his appearance. I think right now is the right level and Tiffany reminds me more of Gina than a Helen.

Posted by: pippa 15th January 2016, 06:27 PM

Tiffany was hilarious when she said what she would say to Gemma, and also when she spoke of the shoes. The language used is not what i would use myself but i did giggle when watching.

Posted by: troylovesmusic 15th January 2016, 08:13 PM

I'm sorry but Tiffany's Diary Room rant about Gemma was HILARIOUS laugh.gif I don't mind Gemma but she had it coming and I don't think she's quite use to people putting her in her place. Megan was quite funny to watch as well although she came across quite psychotic she was very right in what she was saying about John.

GET JOHN OUT chants. One of the greatest TV moments of all time.

Posted by: Maurice 15th January 2016, 10:05 PM

I'm not a fan of John but I absolutely don't like this hate campaign. They have been talking behinds Johns back for the whole episode, say it in his face and then we can talk about double standards again.

Posted by: Serg Mix 15th January 2016, 10:10 PM

But Megan did say in his face did you even watch?
He is the one lying and talking behind people.

When he said there are too many manipulators. BUT he is the biggest one.

Posted by: Maurice 15th January 2016, 10:22 PM

She would never say it when not being drunk though. And I'm not talking about her, more about Gemma this time.

Gemma's one of the biggest shit-stirrers in there. Mind you ... there is a lot of shit to stir!

She redeemed herself slightly when she nominated John though ... and saying why she did it.

Posted by: Leonardo 15th January 2016, 11:58 PM

I must be in the minority of not minding John, he's not perfect but he doesn't seem to have done anything malicious. Also, if Megan was male, you'd all be calling her a thug. Double standards at play.

Posted by: Jack 16th January 2016, 02:22 AM

No Megan was a twat regardless of her gender, but John was a bigger c**t.

Posted by: Liаm 16th January 2016, 04:35 AM

I'm glad John's up but I don't think he'll go sad.gif. Kristina hasn't done anything at all really, he's getting airtime and even bad airtime is better than none in vote to save. Same for Daniella really. Tiffany will luckily be fine, fingers crossed! I guess it depends what happens over the weekend.

Lol at Steph in that big room.

Posted by: FezVez 17th January 2016, 10:02 PM

Probably one of the best last 5 minutes of a BB show with Steph's breakdown in the task room and the ghost. Ahahahhaha!

Posted by: Kath 17th January 2016, 11:29 PM

Where is all this 'morality' coming from? Surely showmances are a vital part of BB! Don't get anyone sticking their beaks in about it.

Posted by: Froot. 18th January 2016, 12:03 AM

omg at Steph in that (basically TORTURE) room, 'Gemma Collins Lion King' !!!!

Whatever sympathy I did have for Steph has completely gone with tonight's episode.

Posted by: burbe 18th January 2016, 12:07 AM

Stephanie's getting to John level's of awfulness tonight mellow.gif There was no need to come for Gemma like that. That whole meltdown was because she knows she's done wrong.

OMG at the 'ghost' at the end though laugh.gif

Posted by: Martyn 18th January 2016, 10:04 AM

Stephanie wanted to do this to save her reputation. She has really done herself no favours at all. Also if she can flip like that maybe there is more to the story of her sacking from Holyoaks

Posted by: Liаm 18th January 2016, 05:50 PM

Omg wtf is wrong with Stephanie!!! Just seen last night's, that was so uncalled for. Gemma is saying what EVERYONE in there was thinking, and probably everyone viewing it too. That was horrible, for her to just go off like that and insult Gemma like that. She was only in Hollyoaks, does she think she's an Oscar winning Hollywood legend rotf.gif

Tiffany is playing it quite well, giving people the meltdowns but not too often that she becomes a hate figure and she also shows the fun side in tasks and stuff.

Posted by: Liаm 18th January 2016, 09:51 PM

I'm just so disappointed in Stephanie, she became one of my realistic dream housemates when the rumours started after she was kicked off Hollyoaks. I really believed it was fabricated or OTT that she was kicked off because of alcohol problems,, but I agree that given how she kicked off at Gemma last night there must have been a little something more to it really.

I love the clique of Tiffany, Gemma & Megan, they're fab. I also really like Darren. Kristina is terrible, such a wishywashy character, hoping she goes tomorrow night.

Gemma's winding me up a TAD recently, she's lost her fun side since Jonathan went. Tiffany on the other hand is just getting better and better and I'm loving her more with every day. So glad she's got the public on her side aswell, would never have seen that coming before the show started.

Posted by: Ultraviolence1989 19th January 2016, 09:40 PM

Good, as much as I would have liked John to go out, Kristina is also terrible. All she did was say something agreeing with John and that's it!

Gemma has just lost it now. Whether what happened before was an act or whatever else. Who knows?

I won't miss Kristina, obviously would rather John went because if she stayed you wouldn't notice but it was vote to save and she was invisible apart from being stuck to John so it was pretty much certain she'd go.

Sadly vote to save was going to be in his favour with deadwood like Kristina up too. I think he'd beat Danniella and Christopher too, plus obviously Stephanie. As long as they're not up he hs a real chance of going surely, but Stephanie will be gone on Friday for sure unless BB makes her immune to keep shit going on laugh.gif

Glad Kristina left, she's such a bitter old bore.

I still really like Gemma! Everything she does makes me howl, but I think she was wrong for coming for Christopher like that. I loved her moment with Tiffany though.

Really surprised no replacements went in and that Sam didn't go in. I'm guessing it might happen on Friday, it felt like a pretty poor eviction show as we all knew Kristina was going really.

DYING at Christpher being sick from having to nominate face to face... He is so wet, really pisses me off laugh.gif

Steph will definitely go surely after being a slag and really going off at Gemma etc. but the fact she's a bigger character makes me think Jeremy could maybe slip below her? He does nothing at all.

Did I really just see Christopher vomit because of face-to-face nominations? laugh.gif!

Posted by: Mack 20th January 2016, 10:44 PM

I didn't think that nominations would cause someone to get so anxious that they would end up vomiting. Chris he's a wet blanket.

Why have a go at Scotty T, Steph?. If you feel unwell, Steph don't eat bacon.

Posted by: troylovesmusic 20th January 2016, 10:49 PM

I really think it will be Jeremy that goes tbh rather than Stephanie I mean he was hardly that well known before entering and has not come across in the most positive light . Also I recall that Stephanie got more votes to stay than him last Friday when they were both up for eviction .

Posted by: Jonjo 20th January 2016, 10:50 PM

Why is Jeremy the innocent one in this love triangle? He knows full well Steph (who is horrific btw, so I'm not defending her) and his pda with her is sickening and he CLEARLY knows that she will come off worse and she's "leading him on for airtime" or whatever. He's just as vile as her tbh. puke.gif

Why was John just wearing Gemma's stuff (without asking her???!?! :/) after having a massive go at her this episode? But Tiffany is amazing. I feel really bad for her. Hope she goes all the way.

Posted by: JosephMendes 20th January 2016, 11:06 PM

All this Tiffany love is slightly baffling. If John reacted the way she did to those noms, he'd be getting even more hate. It did raise a smile from me at times but it was quite uncomfortable (not to the point of throwing up like Christopher though oops) and I think she blows up unnecessarily.

Gemma remains my favourite, some moments I don't really like but in general I find her hilarious and she makes good points (especially to Stephanie). Steph/Jeremy are both as bad as each other also, he needs more hate than he's getting but "omg he's so fit" will probably keep him in (0 )

Tbf he has in the past palmed her off but I do agree, at other times he is as bad as she is for it. Saying "we found love" and he has feelings for her etc., but he's a male and "fit!!11" it's less of a thing for him. I know she is the one with a partner, not him, and I'm not at all condoning what she's done but you do have a point! If he really does want to keep away from her and not look bad, he should fully commit to that. It feels like he's just saying the "right" thing now and again just to look like a good person for a few minutes, but then he goes back to Steph for comfort minutes later!

Like I said, at least Steph has a personality. Just say he went on Tuesday after Steph on Friday, you wouldn't notice laugh.gif

Posted by: Jonjo 20th January 2016, 11:21 PM

I don't think you can throw the "if that was John..." comment around. Tiffany was isolated from day one. None of them have given her a chance/spoken to her the way they do with certain others. John is just malicious and just not a very pleasant person in general.

Tiffany is fine until people call her out, to which she will defend herself (understandably). She doesn't stir things or bitch behind people's backs. She has a tendancy to "go off" during the arguments, but tbh that is to be expected (especially from what we know/have seen of her) and that's exactly what the show needs. I'm actually impressed at how content she's been laugh.gif

Rylan Clark. He symbolizes Big Brother now after winning it a few years ago.

I think that was one of the most dramatic face-to-face nominatioms yet! I get where Tiffany was coming from and found her reactions hilarious but she just reacts in the conplete wrong way. Oh God at Steph thinking everyone should just glance over her meltdown. I don't get why John needs to go sooo deep with his nomination reasons too. Also, I shouldn't but I'm still loving how much Gemma is playing up to the cameras.

I think it's helped Scott out even more though, he came across very well.

Exactly, I completely agree. She has a heated temperament which isn't the best and sometimes she might not come across as the most level headed or reasonable person, but it's no wonder that side of her comes out when she's been completely isolated and scapegoated since day 1. It just got worse with the whole David is dead saga, it was an honest mistake but they must have had some sort of problem before that for them to say shit like they don't feel safe! Apart from maybe when she was rather personal to Gemma, she's hardly ever been nasty or personal, which is more than can be said for a lot of those targeting her!!

Posted by: burbe 21st January 2016, 02:06 AM

Stephanie is becoming unbearable, even more than John. Can we just have a double and get rid of them both?

I feel really bad for Tiffany. Although I still slightly prefer Gemma as my favourite, I think Tiffany deserves the win. She's had the roughest ride of them all in the house and provided some incredible moments.

Posted by: Scherz 21st January 2016, 02:17 AM

I hate the way that John 'addresses' everyone, even when doing nominations. He says everything like it's a speech, as though he's really thought it through and everyone will agree with him?!

Tiffany is love. I really hope she is gathering some votes because she and Gemma are making this season for me.
I think Tiffany acted that way because the housemates blow hot and cold with her and she thought she'd been making new ground with them and then the majority nominate her.
She was totally right to confront them about the way they've treated her, it's sad to see that she spends a lot of time sat on her own because they don't interact with her.
But then you have Dannielle complaining that everyone's in her space and everyone's up in everyone's business.
Maybe she could have presented herself better but none of them have really made her feel welcome or try and include her (from what we've seen) and she tries with them.

Posted by: Snowbot 21st January 2016, 09:23 PM

She's getting worse with every episode sad.gif I think that's what sets Tiffany and Gemma apart, Tiffany is entertaining when she blows up, but she has something else to her. Funny in the tasks, gets stuck in with others. Gemma was hilarious but she's just become a miserable gossip in every scene who just sulks about everything and it's tiring sadly.

Posted by: Cameron 21st January 2016, 09:25 PM

Posted by: Liаm 21st January 2016, 09:32 PM

Gemma could have walked to the win really if she'd just stayed how she was earlier on in the series. But she's reverted back toI'm A Celeb Gemma (not that I saw much of that, I don't tend to watch IAC) and it's tiring and draining to watch. I'm losing all patience with her and can't support her because it isn't funny anymore. The thing with Tiffany is, you can see she doesn't mean half the stuff she says and just gets a bit heated whereas Gemma is so stubborn and miserable, she'll keep on and on and just won't let up. It's such a shame when someone who's as good a housemate as she was goes off the rails so much.

"What I borrowed to her the other day" English goals :cheeseblock:

I didn't like her in the last episode but, overall, I'm still loving Gemma even though everything should go against me NOT liking her. I've always disliked her before she came in the house, even though I never saw her on TOWIE because I thought everything about her was fake. However, I think that is why I'm actually liking her in the house, because she's blatantly admitting that most things she's doing is for the cameras, stirring things up etc.

Posted by: Cameron 22nd January 2016, 09:06 PM

I can't believe Jeremy is getting all those cheers. He is just as bad as Stephanie! He knew she had a boyfriend.

Posted by: Vülker 22nd January 2016, 09:10 PM

Wouldn't it be amazing if Flava Flav walked in the house today?

Or that blonde girl who Tiffany spat on while in the show. Amazing.

TBH I think Jeremy could be the one that goes tonight I mean he was hardly that known before going in and he dosen't have that much of a fanbase from what I can see. He's not also come across in the most postive light either. Stephanie also got more votes than him in last Friday's Eviction but I do imagine he might of a little bit of sympathy (not that he really desreves it) after last night's show so it should be close .

I don't get what's so bad about Stephanie! After her pep-talk (read - speaking the plain bloody truth) to Gemma - I really like Stephanie. Gemma is just AWFUL!

Posted by: LexDANCE 22nd January 2016, 09:29 PM

Jesus christ, Gemma needs a bloody slap.

Sensing a Sezer-esque reaction to all those boos coming up here.

If you take the Big Brother audience as the general public, then you would have a very skewed pool in regards to what you were trying to aim for.

Posted by: Liаm 22nd January 2016, 09:41 PM

Stephanie does have her moments still, I can't defend her doing what she's doing to her boyfriend on national TV but all I'll say is at least she has a personality unlike her beau in there laugh.gif

I prefer her to John, Gemma and Jeremy out of who's up. Tiff and Megan are my two faves thoguh and then Danniella is probably 4th behind Scotty T anyway. She's kind of a lesser evil because she has funny moments and was spot on with Gemma, it's just her... morals for want of a better word laugh.gif She was really nasty to Gemma but with how we're all feeling about Gemma now we don't mind that I'm sure rotf.gif

Posted by: Cameron 22nd January 2016, 09:55 PM

I knew Megan/Jeremy/Stephanie would get the least amount of votes. Daniella will be safe. I hope Megan pulls thorough too

Posted by: Liаm 22nd January 2016, 09:58 PM

Knew that would be the top 3 but bloody John getting votes drama.gif

Watch this task be won by Gemma, or Steph in the unlikely event she stays.

I hope Stephanie stays. She's the only one who has the balls to stand up to Gemma.

It makes a change that the majority of people are getting cheered, so unusual nowadays! I was particularly surprised that Mgen and Tiffany had so many cheers and its impressive that Tiffany was Top 3 in the grand scheme of things.

I agree, normally you'd expect them to booed to high heavens for being confrontational/heated women who are confident to stand up for themselves laugh.gif Even if Tiffany doesn't win, I think someone like her coming top 3 (which is very likely to happen) will be brilliant given past form for housemates like them!

Lowkey glad Steph stayed :') Like I want to watch her, I just hate her with Jeremy obv laugh.gif

Just gutted about Megan, she was only a crazy bitch because I doubt she can handle her alcohol laugh.gif She was actually a nice girl I think, very genuine and normal.

Posted by: Froot. 22nd January 2016, 10:53 PM

I think her meltdown is one of my favourite CBB moments ever though.

Posted by: Serg Mix 22nd January 2016, 11:05 PM

Happy for my girl Tiffany.

But this has to be a joke??? Who saved Daniella & Jeremy over Megan in their right mind?

Megan was a fun girl. Liked her interview with Willis.

Gemma is immune dance.gif

Posted by: JosephMendes 22nd January 2016, 11:09 PM

No surprise Megan's gone, she went relatively under the radar compared to the others in the past week, and is a smaller name than the likes of Danniella. I warmed to her in the end though so it's a shame.

I'm not in the Gemma hate camp still. Whilst I don't love her now, she's at least not vicious like I find Tiffany can be with her words. Gemma's just a diva really. Having said that, I have NO idea who my favourite is right now laugh.gif

Posted by: Liаm 22nd January 2016, 11:18 PM

I mean I did kind of expect steph might slip in at the expense of Megan or Jeremy but I'm still gutted sad.gif

Tiff ALL the way now.

Posted by: Jack 22nd January 2016, 11:48 PM

Megan was one of my faves sad.gif

I genuinely only like Gemma and Tiffany now. Everyone else is dull as f***. I don't get the Gemma hate, I still think she's hilarious!

Posted by: burbe 23rd January 2016, 01:59 AM

Gemma getting immunity biggrin.gif

Slightly sad to see Megan go over Stephanie and Jeremy, but it's not a total surprise since she wouldn't have the fanbase of the others. I'm so happy to see Tiffany coming in the top 3 of the voting too - she deserves it so much. Easily the most entertaining and likeable housemate now.

Posted by: FezVez 23rd January 2016, 08:42 AM

Gutted Megan was evicted, I was hoping she would win.

An all round fantastic BB housemate.

Posted by: Ryan. 24th January 2016, 12:37 AM

I still completely disagree with what Stephanie is doing with Jeremy, but I do think what John, Darren and Christopher did to her was a bit unfair today. Then Danniella and Gemma completely overreacted and I didn't like the pack mentality they seemed to be displaying against Stephanie. If they were doing it over the Jeremy situation I may agree with the pair of them, but as they weren't I don't think that was nice at all from them.

Once again Tiffany was amazing in that she went against everyone to do what I think was the right thing and be on Stephanie's side in this instance. Tiffany is just so amazing!

Posted by: Aaron. 24th January 2016, 01:23 AM

Tiffany coming closer to securing that win. PhD Tiffany FTW!

Posted by: Mackenzie 24th January 2016, 02:17 AM

felt sorry for Steph this episode, a female producing natural fluids is perfectly normal so the fact the girls latched onto that AS FEMALES WHO HAVE PROBABLY DONE THE SAME makes me saddened almost whilst John just needs to go, ultimate game player

...oh and Tiffany can win "with open legs..." heehee.gif

Posted by: Liаm 24th January 2016, 03:11 AM

Haven't watched tonight yet but they need to butt out of Steph and Jeremy laugh.gif For the umpteenth time I don't agree with it, but it's their mistake to make. It's honestly getting more boring to watch everyone else on their high horses every night! I know it's easier said than done because there's not uch else to do but pry into the business of others in the house but I get so bored of watching it.

Posted by: Jonjo 24th January 2016, 03:50 AM

You know the bit that I found the worst? The whole "prick" situation. That was really shocking and uncalled for. You know it's bad when you end up feeling sorry for the awful housemate!

Posted by: JosephMendes 24th January 2016, 12:14 PM

The whole underwear thing had me lost last night so ignoring that, I have absolutely no sympathy for Stephanie. Constantly pulling out the bully card against anyone who dares question her. She comes across as quite snide to me, and totally oblivious to her own actions.

Posted by: Jonjo 24th January 2016, 12:17 PM

I'm with you on that, but I do think last night was a bit too far! Especially as they're all professional, mature women! It was like playground bullying and those knickers shouldn't have been just laid on the table (WHERE THEY EAT!!) like that for all to see.

Posted by: Alex! 24th January 2016, 12:29 PM

I actually felt sorry for Stephanie last night, I want to like her too because she can be funny especially in the tasks but the Jeremy thing is a mess so I can't like her.

Gemma has totally spoilt every chance she had by being pathetic every moment she gets and Daniella is the most boring, unstable person in there.

Posted by: Jack 24th January 2016, 01:07 PM

Stephanie reminds me of the awful Hazel, completely disregarding the fact that she knows she's done something wrong and playing the victim card when she's questioned about it. Terrible housemate.

Posted by: Liаm 24th January 2016, 04:51 PM

Exactly, there was no need to take them out and put them on the table like that, just tell her to take them or whatever. It makes so much more of an issue when they do that. Danniella is getting on my nerves too now, moaning how much she wants to go, being miserable and whiny.

Having seen it, tbh everyone involved was somewhat irritating in some way (Tiffany excepted) but I agree with Jonjo it was just really immature and stupid. Tiffany dragging John and thirsting over Scotty gave me so much life! She has to win.

Posted by: Ryan. 24th January 2016, 10:06 PM

I can accept one fire exit walk out, especially when it has fun intentions like with one of the recent civilian series - was it the Helen/Ashleigh one where they all broke out at the same time? Not sure but whichever one it was it was hilarious! However 2 walk outs by the same 2 people in 2 days deserves ejection or at least a final warning in my books, as John said to Tiffany - it's pretty much cheating and against the rules.

Gemma and Danniella really came across badly yet again, once again I was siding with Stephanie. Glad to see Danniella apologised eventually but I agree with Tiffany's diary room section that Gemma only apologised because Danniella did and didn't want to look bad/be left out.

Tiffany hilarious again at the end with Darren there, and showing why she deserves to be bookies favourite as she is now with same and about to be with the rest! That said, I can't see Tiffany beating safe choices like Scotty and Darren but to even be considered to be in contention is fantastic!

Posted by: jase. 24th January 2016, 10:55 PM

Gemma is f***ing insufferable

Imagine a Gemma/Stephanie final 2 laugh.gif

Posted by: Aphrodite 25th January 2016, 12:27 AM

I like Daniella but pairing with Gemma was bad move and will cost her as i had initially thought she would come top 3. I know what Stephanie has done to her boyfriend is wrong but for some reason i really feel for her, i think she is trying her best to turn her life around but everything just seems to be going wrong for her.

I cant stand Gemma, she is very two faced and really likes stirring up trouble. Tiffany has really grown on me and she was hilarious with Darren, Darren i think will win.

Posted by: burbe 25th January 2016, 01:38 AM

Gemma's playing the game brilliantly. She's there to make a TV show not to be liked. Tiffany is bloody brilliant though. She seems to see the house as if she's a viewer and some of her scenes are hilarious, like the one with Darren. I was getting flashbacks to her 'Mrs Tiffany Day' moment laugh.gif I'll be disappointed if she doesn't win because she's the most deserving housemate in terms of both bringing something to the house and being entertaining. Most importantly, she's being herself. It's clear she's not playing a game like certain others and genuinely is taking everything in her stride. I can see her missing out to Scotty T or Darren though.

Posted by: liamk97 25th January 2016, 01:43 PM

Gemma and Tiffany both now how to play the game but there's something particularly sneaky and manipulative about the way Gemma does it. I've not seen whole episodes but that's been my impression from what I have seen. Sure, it makes good entertainment and you shouldn't really view Big Brother as anything more than that, but it has kind of opened my eyes to the sort of person Gemma is, which is a shame because when she is good, she's very good. Tiffany plays the game but I don't think she's calculated in the same way at all; I always see some sort of truth in the things she says.

Posted by: LushLifeLee 25th January 2016, 03:01 PM

Stephanie slaying on the odds now *.*

Posted by: Jack 25th January 2016, 03:45 PM

Stephanie is vile though.

Posted by: Jonjo 25th January 2016, 05:18 PM

Yeah. Stephanie is still horrific for being a sleaze bag! The edits have just been more in her favour recently. I reckon she'll finish about 6th. Similar to Michelle from BB5!

Posted by: Jack 25th January 2016, 05:20 PM

I think currently it'll go;

01 Scotty T
02 Tiffany
03 Darren
04 Gemma
05 John
06 Stephanie

I think Gemma/John could easily swap places and 6th is anyone's game except Christopher's really!

Posted by: Maurice 25th January 2016, 09:58 PM

Tiffany was hilarious and have won it for me tonight.

Posted by: Liаm 25th January 2016, 09:58 PM

Oh my god I haven't laughed that much at CBB in AGES, if ever rotf.gif Tiffany is absolute TV gold and I will not accept anyone but her to win. What a woman, such an amazing housemate without being attention seeking or nasty or anything, she's effortlessly hilarious.

I searched "tiffany #cbb" on twitter and not one negative tweet <3

Tiffany is the reason I am tuning in every night.

I honestly think by being so effortlessly hilarious she may well win. Every night I feel that prospect gets more and more likely.

I completely agree, she seems to be the only one worth watching and I'm seeing so much love for her. It really helps that she's coming across as light relief for such turgid viewing with all these silly arguments and petty fights, she shines so much more against that backdrop. Normally if I only like one person it's a chore to watch but she's really making this whole series. Honestly I'd say she's my favourite CBB housemate I can remember!!

Posted by: Liаm 26th January 2016, 09:51 PM

No surprise there, would have preferred John or Jeremy gone but he brought very little to the house really and it was expected.

This series has been so good, there is no need for putting the dull Gillian in sleep.gif

That is pointless then. Gillian is so f***ing random as well.

Posted by: Aaron. 27th January 2016, 02:43 AM

So, they're bringing in Gillian to detox the housemates?
We're lacking drama, now you're going to remove the booze to prevent drama?
No thanks.

Posted by: Mack 27th January 2016, 07:57 PM

How long is Gillian McKeith going to be in the house for?

Posted by: Liаm 27th January 2016, 09:00 PM

It'll probably be just until Friday's eviction. I dread to think how they're going manipulate it this time, I can see it being all of the ones she called toxic are currently up but whoever detoxes the best will be swapped with another. They'll try and keep Gemma safe I'm sure.

Posted by: Liаm 27th January 2016, 09:41 PM

Gillian needs to leave now, she's getting right on my tits. She's not even qualified in nutrition let alone psychology, why is she there giving advice like that to everyone all over the place, mess rotf.gif
