I don’t agree so far, at this stage in the voting it’s not doing particularly well (14th out of 20). If we’d saved it for a later round, it seems it could have performed worse (in each round, the number of songs you can vote for decreases).
We’re still saving major moments in Say You’ll Be There, Spice Up Your Life & Viva Forever. I also have a feeling Wannabe will be a more popular choice with the forum at large than it tends to be with core Spice fans. If we survive this round with 2 Become 1, I would hope these 4 songs could see us through a few more rounds. Don’t really see any of Mama, Too Much, Goodbye, Holler, Let Love Lead the Way or Headlines doing well though, none of their album tracks would do anything and I struggle to see any solo songs doing the business either. Perhaps Never Be the Same Again or I Turn to You could be dark horses, but I’m not sure it’s worth the risk? I think it’s clear Spice Girls won’t go the distance in this contest, not when most of the other artists have much bigger discographies to delve into! |

How about 'Maybe' or 'Mi Chico Latino'? They both seem very popular and well known among pop fans; I could see them being able to compete.

Another thing that worries me about sending a solo song is that I think in the poll it’d be written like
Spice Girls - Maybe Spice Girls - Mi Chico Latino (Given that BLACKPINK was listed as K-Pop - Kill This Love!) |
