The reissue of Brutally Honest seems to be doing quite well, currently #72 in the Amazon book chart but also the #1 “musician autography”. I know #72 may not seem great on the surface but I think it appearing amongst every kind of book that’s selling well enough to be in the Top 100 at the moment (fiction, children’s, cookery books, self help etc), is pretty good!

I think I'm right in saying its sales have blown the other girls books out the water. It sold something like 12k the week it was on the Sunday times bestsellers list, while Emma and Mel C managed about 5k and Geri didn't make the list at all.

The number of reviews for Mel B's book on Amazon absolutely dewarfs the others too.

Yeah it is quite a success for her, and I am glad.

Did Geri's book really not make any list in the UK? Thats quite bad for such a massive slap in the press.... It did flop a bit right?....

I have no real idea how Geri's book sold but I don't think it was good sales in the UK. Geri seemed to cling to it making the New York times list but it was such a niche list 'hardback kids books'. I cant imagine many kids books are released as hardback.

The Rosie Frost insta page hasn't posted since 20th Dec 2023, which if you think it is meant to be a series then you would think they would want to keep posting every now and then. There is also no pre-order up for a 2nd book despite it supposedly coming out this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Rosie books are put on hold or it just gets shelved.

It was a massive flop. When she gets menrioned thesw days, it's in scathing pieces about the publishing industey being choked by "celebrity writers" and people having to become ghost writers for "celebs". There was one on tv the orhee day and it focused on loads of others and just mentioned her in passing as part of the problem!!! rotf.gif

The reason why Mel does so well is she is authentic, ans ahe tells the trurh. Look at her with Piers. She told the truth. We all know their split might be what actually helped end the spicu girls too, but Geri is uust putting on yet another persona. The only one you can get the truth from is Mel B.
