Having secured support from Radio 1 recently, Stefflon Don will drop her official debut single 'Hurtin Me' featuring French Montana. Out midnight UK time tonight, thinking this will sound pretty big and do well!

The new single shows off the latter with Steff trading silky smooth vocals against French Montana’s decisively smooth flow. Produced by Rymez (Wiley, Jeremih, Lil Yachty, Sean Paul), the track is the perfect reflection of her multi-cultural background and influences from her upbringing in Jamaica, London & Holland and is set to become this summer’s biggest dancehall anthem.

Heard it, sounds more aimed at the mainstream - like one of those songs Nicki Minaj sings rather than raps on. Like it though.

I like this but I feel like she's tamed herself down for this song . I hope this not the case for the rest of her official music !

Really liking this. Does feel like it's her at ~75% but I think she's one to watch for the future. This is a safe proper debut on the music scene.

Added to R1 playlist now, I think this has every chance of being a hit single - especially with a video still to come. If it isn't, the next single will probably be a bit more like the mixtape-material.

Was just gonna post that! Nothing special about it but I'm really growing to like this a lot more than when I first heard it, hope she can get some sort of hit out of it off the back of "Instruction". It's not a patch on "16 Shots" though.

The pan pipes in this Reminds me a LOT of Work by Rihanna in the 'mmmm' parts.

Now I've got over the fact this isn't another 16 Shots level banger, this really is another great song from her. Hopefully it might be her breakthrough!

I totally get the Work comparisons in the 'mmmm' parts as well.

This is now top 20! So pleased for her, she comes across so likeable and humbled by the success that she's getting. Also now A list on Radio 1/top 40 on Spotify so should climb higher next week!

Something seems to be coming on Sunday at 9PM according to her Instagram? Looking forward to it, whatever it is!

Edit: Stormzy, J Hus and other grime artists have posted the same picture - super collab coming?

Obsessed with this song. One of the best songs I have heard this year. Glad this is becoming a hit. Stefflon is definitely one to watch!

She performed a set for Annie Mac on Tuesday night with a live band and backing vocalists. She performed "Hurtin Me", "16 Shots" (still such a BANGER, I need more of this on the album!) and "Turn Your Lights Down Low" by Bob Marley/Lauryn Hill. Unfortunately the sound isn't the best, it was recorded at Maida Vale whilst Annie was at Broadcasting House �� Listen http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05jlvl7.

It's a great little set, she sounds a bit off on "Hurtin Me" but she more than makes up for it on the other two songs. I haven't heard the original of "Turn Your Lights Down Low" but it's a beautiful little song, it suits her very well.

Also, she's currently supporting Future on his European arena tour! UK dates:

Friday 20 October - Manchester Academy
Sunday 22 October - O2 Academy, Birmingham
Monday 23 October - The O2, London

Then on 30th November she's performing at Alexandra Palace with Cardi B(!), Dizzee Rascal, J Hus, Giggs and Bugzy Malone.
