I guess I thought the album with Mt Sims & Planningtorock was technically THEIRS because 7 years absence seems quite massive in my mind.
And now I remembered about Fever Ray too. Haha. |

Playing in London on 8/5/13. Their only date in the British Isles and 10 hours away from me. </3 |

This is all too much excitement for my poor mind/body. Literally the only thing I've listened to and talked about for the past 3 days is The Knife. When I'm not listening to or talking about them I've been spending my time watching the live DVD. They are undeniably incredible.

omg yes have been playing their previous records lately. Deep Cuts (which celebrated 10 years since its release yesterday ) hasn't dated like almost at all (Listen Now sounds a bit retro for now haha).
We Share Our Mothers' Health, Heartbeats, Pass This On... AAAAAAAAAHHH so many jams *.* This post has been edited by パーベル: 18th January 2013, 07:19 AM |

According to the Roundhouse...
Shaking The Habitual promises to be unlike anything else around and finds the band in a ruminative and expansive mood; “Started to improvise, to find something less predictable, to let go of what we already knew about music, explore what we didn't, without requiring complete answers”. “It's time to move, to fall, to fly. Get Shaking!" 'A Tooth for an Eye' 6:04 'Full of Fire' 9:17 'A Cherry on Top' 8:43 'Without You My Life Would Be Boring' 5:14 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' 4:36 'Crake' 0:55 'Old Dreams Waiting to Be Realized' 19:02 'Raging Lung' 9:58 'Networking' 6:42 'Oryx' 0:37 'Stay Out Here (feat. Shannon Funchess)' 10:42 'Fracking Fluid Injection' 9:54 'Ready to Lose' 4:36 This post has been edited by ▲▲▲: 22nd January 2013, 09:02 PM |

Wow at some of those track lengths. Hope they have remembered to keep some level of control with the music, creativity is great obv but let's hope they haven't continued down the Tomorrow, in a Year route and forgotten everything that made Silent Shout so amazing.
