While three of his Take That bandmates face paying back millions of pounds in tax after a tribunal ruling, Robbie Williams is sitting pretty, financially.

He has set up a company that has made a £14.1million profit in its first year.


The 40-year-old singer-songwriter, who bought the late film director Michael Winner’s 46-room London mansion for £17.5million last year, established the firm, Teddy Bear Productions, which has handled the proceeds of his Take The Crown Stadium Tour round the British Isles.

Samuel said the concert was successfully held direct transfer of 40 state theaters in which the film shows a total of more than 1,500 presentations once.

Reasons for the delay in the completion of the DVD is not quite the EE or under the control of the manufacturer Factory Ltd, explained Samel. "Indeed, though the material is a DVD before the end of 2013 to 100 per cent ready for production, but Robbie Williams' team has been very busy with the ongoing" Swing Both Ways "tour and it is also DVD sales reach lingered."

Robbie Williams' management is Factory OÜ confirmed that all necessary steps have they taken to issue a DVD so that the DVD can be issued by the end of 2014.

The manufacturer is the completion of the EE DVD and stretches well informed of the reasons.

EAS bought the project will be completed meediapartnerilt media visibility and the concert DVD is one part of this project. The whole project has a budget of 300,060 euros, and its aim is to introduce the Robbie Williams concert using Estonia as an attractive travel destination.

Showing my age here - I remember him as a very young, dashing Prince in his twenties. He was very much the eligible batchelor in the 1980s when Princess Grace was still alive. He looks like a nice man. I thought the photos of him and his wife together at the gig showed the body language of a happy marriage.

I was thinking both couples had a lot in common with two very young children together each. I bet they had lots to talk about to ease any tension/shyness.

Didn't Gary say they would do something in 2017?

At the minute it's hard to see how Robbie would fit it all in but the fact that he is tweeting so many things about TT can't be a coincidence. I'm sure he's agreed to do something with them. Just not sure how/when. He's going to be a busy boy I think.

I hope it's the five of them though. If Jason isn't in, I think they should leave it where it is.

TT5 album Christmas 2017? Tour 2018?

That's my guess if Robbie's involved - then he can have his next album out 2016 as he said and tour summer 2017.

Although aren't the TT lads doing stuff in the studio already? So they wouldn't wait three years to release something....

he's said a new solo album 2016 and he told Greece he would be back in 18 months. Which would be the start of 2017


I'm rambling - I don't know is the answer but if he wants it to happen, he'll fit it all in workwise. With Jay of course.

No I don't think she already is from the way he was talking but it sounded like they were trying for another already.

I don't think he'd delay anything work wise. After all he managed to do the ballroom tour when Teddy was due and he was touring Australia when Charlie was due. I think they'll all just get on with it and work around it.

To me they seem pretty grounded as a family. Especially considering they split themselves between two continents.

It'll be his son's birthday while he's there. A month is an awful long time to be apart from them although it's a really long flight for such young children so they may decide it's best they stay at home (whether that's LA or London).

I just read on Twitter it's two years since Robbie played Tallinn. Where has that time gone?

That was a great gig - I enjoyed that so much at the cinema Hard to believe it's already two years ago though. Him and his dodgy back that night.

So how are they making any kind of profit on these clothes then Tess I wonder? They must have made a saving in the quality of materials used surely?

I must say the Farrell stuff that was sold in House Of Fraser was brilliant quality. I bought my husband the raspberry coloured polo shirt when Farrell first came out which must be four years ago now. He wears it loads and it hasn't faded or lost it's shape one little bit. They were made to last those pieces.

I need to go to flipping Oxford Circus and have a look. Wish they would sell online. I would have bought some new items months ago.

Do you think the quality can be the same though Tess if they're charging nine quid for that T shirt when the old polo shirts sold for £60?. True they've got rid of the fancy packaging that must have pushed up the prices and the advertising budget but kept the sense of styling. It all still looks "Farrell".

Or maybe the old stuff was just unnecessarily overpriced?

I am really curious as to how it's doing now though and whether it's selling well in its new home. Peter Jones has got his head on straight. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't doing really well. I hope it is.

The quality is rather good only thing I noticed was the lining of the coats was incomplete, some parts lined , other parts not...actually quite lovely lining but just not enough of it

I agree, Laura. But it is rather interesting how both acts develop still in years they are dinosaurs. Gary had done a lot of networking in the USA and maybe this gives them a chance as TT for an adult audience. Robbie had confirmed himself as one of the biggest live acts even in countries he had not been before during the last months and is planning new roots, whatever they are.
Even he though spoke about dates in the US while he never really wanted to break there as he said.
And still they also coexists since they had made their peace some years ago and keep on being successful.
Yesterday I watched Progress and I have to say it is still absolutely impressing me. I would like them to do something again together.

Farrell in the US , that is good to know. I bought the t-shirt last year with the Staffordshire knot but it was way too long so I have taken it to the dressmakers to get it shortened & get the little & asked them to sew the little leather Farrell logo back on , the t-shirt is cream with the know in navy, very nice with jeans

Although in fairness Elisabeth we don't know how its doing - until we see accounts anyway - but I think it feels like it's in safer hands with Peter Jones involved. He's got the expertise to steer the brand where he thinks it needs to go. I think Robbie needs that expertise. It's a whole new thing for him. Although I could imagine him to be a quick learner in the world of business. He's got a sharp brain on him.

I'm glad they didn't let Farrell go. It deserved better than to be dissolved.

I am not impressed by money either Laura. But what impresses me is the way people get the money they have if they d not inherit it.
Some have clever ideas, some took chances and some have talent and get paid well.
Nevertheless there are so many people who misinvest. In Holland we have Andre Rieu who is known in the rest of Europe either.
He made a lot of money with his tours and concerts and lost anything some years ago. so he had to start again.
In Robbie's case he is smart (until now) and that impresses me. No real big toys with him other have and spent their money for. ANd PJ?
I expected him to be rich as he is dong Dragon's den. he couldnot be a rolemodel if he is not good with money :-)

he had been very ill, Syd. The man is a pusher and worker and he took too much. He has 120 people steadily on his payroll, even if he is not touring. This was some years ago though. He is doing good now and he has a great family. His son is in the business as manager.
Aside of him, I know many artists who have made a lot of money and lost it not even by their lifestyle, but because they invested wrongly.
Robbie seems to be different and very smart ...aside of the houses

Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones lost all his money , several times in fact, I read a book about him & he never actually knew how much money he had, he just kept on spending, the only thing that saved him was his art works which he was able to sell

I also guess that they filmed some adverts at the same time also for the different countries. He will not fly in for one 30 second spot to be shot.
I am also wondering about VW which turns out to be a real mess. But if he had been paid for the entire year he has to stick to the contracts and the amount of money they indicated in 2014 was so huge I don't think he will miss out.
As bad as the betray is, I better do not want to know what other companies do, not necessary car manufacturer. We have a freport in the Dutch television especially about food producers and retailers and sometimes you do not want to eat anymore after watching it

The press are the press , they say whatever they like .. Robbie is in a good place these past number of years so I hope he ignores them.

I went to see the documentary/film on Amy Winehouse last night, what an eyeopener..I found it dark, disturbing , sad , she was hounded by the press & used by her family & most other people , she had a couple of friends who tried to help & her main supporter in the final years of her life seem to be her bodyguard . She was trying to get her life in order but it was too late. Showbusiness can be fabulous but it can also destroy a persons life.

I wanted to go and see that. She's a great loss to music.

I heard her Dad on radio say he didn't agree with the film, that it depicted her family wrong.

I think it's the scrutiny that people find so hard to cope with, the intrusion into your life. It must play with your head and as most of these creative people are ultra sensitive by nature anyway, it must be doubly difficult for that kind of character. You must run out of people to trust.

I think Robbie was saved by having a very loving, stable, down to earth family behind him and having real friends (Jonny) not just show biz types. Plus, underneath all that doubt, he's got a back bone of steel.

Amy wanted to do a second album & forget about touring but her Dad said that she was under contact & had to finish the tour, she went to Serbia & came out on stage, sat down & refused to sing . She went to St Lucia or somewhere with her bodyguard & stayed with his family for about six months , her Dad followed her out with a camera crew for a tv he was making about being part of her life & what it was like, he did not come across as a very nice man , they put money before her welfare ...I found the whole film most disturbing, a lot of the footage was in her flat , not a nice place at all , she was in a bad way. You would not hear a pin drop at the movie, it was chilling . Robbie did the right thing in going to the USA , he took himself away from the mayhem & eventually sorted himself out , I wonder what the story would be if he had not met Ayda .

I guess that's why her Dad was not happy with the movie if he came out of it in a less than favourable light. I did wonder at that and why he was so anti the film.

If Robbie had not met Ayda maybe he would have stayed "retired" who knows? Although I think he's a lot stronger than he thinks he is.

There's no way his life would be as happy though. Everything seemed to fall into place when he met her.

Well in all seriousness, I think the style of clothes you'd wear in LA in the sunshine are different to what you'd wear in rainy old England.

Only been to US once - we went to San Francisco and I bought some trainers there with bright pink laces.


I walked around all week feeling fine in them and wore them home on the plane. I'd barely stepped off the plane into the airport when I looked down, thought they looked ridiculous and bought some black laces. That sunshine is responsible for a lot of madness.

and yes although I didn't see it, someone else said the UTR2 is not going to happen now until after the "proper album". I think he just ran out of time what with the tour and all. Shame but understandable.

He's also mentioned Soccer Aid is happening at some point next year.

I wonder when the "acting" thing is happening?

Talked to my brother & his wife this morning in Australia, they went to see Robbie in Melbourne. Said they really enjoyed the show & that Robbie was a great performer with the crowd eating out of his hand. They also went to see Neil Diamond this week & said that even though they enjoyed Neil they preferred Robbie as a performer , they said Robbie had that real connection with the audience. They had not seen Robbie before so I am delighted they enjoyed the experience.

Gish he writes quite a lot .... was listening to Rod Stewart recently , he talked about going through a difficult period writing albums but said how he just loves it, I think Robbie is the same ...

I kept meaning to ask you if they enjoyed it.

That "connection" with the audience - that is his secret weapon isn't it. It just comes natural to him.

He talks/performs to an audience like he's in a room with half a dozen people and he's speaking directly to you. That kind of thing can't be taught and it's why he's such a successful live performer.

Glad they enjoyed him anyway.

When you think - he's got all that stuff already written with the Aussie boys, then he's got Guy stuff, he's got the stuff he did with John Grant in LA and now he's writing with Karl. He also said the Soul Mekanik boys were going to be writing with him too in the near future.

Is it all for the album do you think or something else?

Yes although it would be different now I think. He's got less to lose. He might as well go for it.

Everyone was waiting for him to fail in 2006 and he'd fallen out with just about every tabloid in the country and they were looking to destroy him. It was only a matter of time before it happened.

If he brought out an album like Rudebox now the press would be far more lenient I think.

I hope the next album will be left field. Keep moving forward and doing different stuff. That's what keeps it interesting. Although the other part of me wants it to be mainstream enough to get to number one. That's his dilemma I guess.

All things are meant to be anyway. If he hadn't had Rudebox, rehab, he wouldn't have taken time off and wouldn't have met Ayda.

He needed that break to happen in his life and if Rudebox had been accepted by the public like all his other albums, he might not have stopped working in 2007. Doesn't bear thinking where he may have ended up though.

I think the first of your posts I read was on Pure Robbie shortly after I became a fan, Laura. I always admired the way you analyse an see things and the calmness and serenity in your judgments always from the angle of good thinking. I also hope tat Robbie keeps it interesting. But I still hope he has commercial success.

Elisabeth it was nice what you said but I never posted on Purerobbie. I used to read there but not post.

I was thinking today - a few years ago when Robbie used to "disappear" between tours or albums, he really did disappear. You wouldn't hear anything from him for months other than tabloid tat.

Nowadays with social media - celebrities don't really disappear do they? There's always stuff being posted, random tweets from the artists themselves or those they've worked with. Little bits of information. So even when RW isn't working, there's always stuff going on somewhere. Which is nice in the quieter months.

Stupid to say that, but in my early Robbie times I often was annoyed about those people who always criticized him for anything he did and was vocal about it and there was a laura with some numbers behind her name with a very sensitive way saying what I said much harsher and always so good mooded. I thought it was you.

It must be hard for her with them six months here and six months in US. Hard to audition and plan where you will be and even if you'll be in the same continent. That's before you take into account their two very young children. It can't be easy if she wants to continue her career.

I hope it leads to her getting some more parts here in the UK next year if that's what she wants.

I guess it also depends on whether more children are on the cards too.

When you think about it - their living on a different continent to where Robbie's career is - presents plenty of challenges doesn't it when you want to raise a family. Logistically it must be very tricky for them. They seem to be very adaptable though.

Delighted for her that she got this job & s doing something in her own right, I am sure it's not easy being known as Robbie Williams wife , now people will get to see her in her own right. . Nice she got the job over here, in the US she could go for many jobs but the tv station might never even air the show , it happens all the time so maybe she wanted to get a foot in the door over here . I wonder if they intend spending more time over here especially now they have that new house in London.

I've always thought that song should just be GB/RW. It's their song after all. The rest of TT aren't needed in that track.

If there is a 25th reunion tour - they had better flipping sing that song properly and not throw it away like they did on the Progress tour.
