'Depi Evratesil' will return for 2018 with one major difference: artists must enter with an original song. It will be the first time since 2010 that viewers in Armenia will be able to choose both the artist and song that will represent them at Eurovision. Applications close on 15th December with the four live shows taking place early next year.
Tamar Kaprelian, who was a member of Genealogy back in 2015, is rumoured to be entering. |

It's no Lolita Zero (WHAT IS), but a stellar effort from Armenia on the novelty front. I think I'll need the visuals to fully appreciate it.
I have to say, 'Heartbeat' by Angel is also very good from today's lot. |

Sounds like Sigala is trying his luck in this selection
I mean it's not very Armenia but what a banger regardless |

GOODNESS ME, that's the first seriously competitive song I've heard this National Final season (and written by a BRITISH songwriting team as well, imagine if we heard that on Ken Bruce one Monday morning!). She came 2nd to Artsvik in the selection show last year so she's presumably at least got some kind of fanbase inbuilt to give this the nod over whatever the inevitable dirgey rock number that Armenia are prone to sending.

That is so euphoric! Everything Greece was trying and failing to be last year.

It has to be a contender but favourite to win in Armenia is considered to be Sevak, a male Armenian-language ballad along the lines of Not Alone (apparently I haven’t heard yet) who is quite famous as he’s a Voice judge there or something.
Our hope rests with the international jury! (Unfortunately she didn’t come 2nd last year, she lost out about three rounds from the end in a battle in Team Iveta although apparently causing an “uproar” and petitions to bring her back) |

I... would not be opposed to Armenia sending that.
I notice that Sevak is not all that far away as a word from Szpak, I'm going to call that an omen. |

What date are Armenia selecting and if they decide to pass on this glorious piece of pop, can someone get Ella Eyre or Jess Glynne on the phone STAT...

‘You & I” is a nice little bop, but I think “heartbeat” is far more interesting and would prefer that to get the ticket to Lisbon. Armenia are on point this year!

Well haven't Armenia gave us some bops! Nothing in today's final batch of songs that stood out to me but I'm all about 'Poison', 'Heartbeat' and 'You & I', what a trio *.*
