Skrillex & Diplo's collaboration project 'Jack Ü' had their first single premiered on Radio 1 by Zane Lowe on September 15.
Safe to say I LOVE IT... and Kiesza!

On paper I had incredibly high expectations. Haven't listened to it I love the verses & Kiesza's parts but the breakdown is a "little" lacking for me. May be a grower as then it'll rank right up in dance terms this year.

Some interesting sounds but this doesn't go anywhere.
However, I like that Kiesza is using some deeper tones to her voice.

The drop is a little bit anti-climactic but I love Kiesza's vocals.

This would be so good if it wasn't ruined by that drop, underwhelming to say the least. Kiesza's vocals and the rest of the production are great.

Everything about this song is amazing, especially the drop imo. SHOCKED people are underwhelmed by it.

Skrillex clearly brings out the worst in Diplo 
Usually love anything Diplo touches, but this not so much. May be also be partly due to my hatred of Kiesza's voice though.

That he has been completely defined by what other people have written about him in the past few years.
In the clip, we see fans coming in and out of a gallery plastered with photos of Bieber as they graffiti the pics. The invitation opened Bieber to potential love, hate, laughs and whatever else might’ve been directed his way. During a very public on-again-off-again relationship with Selena Gomez last year, his life was used as entertainment for the masses, while he and Gomez were struggling inside. The video portrays his internal pain with soft lighting and close-shots, but also displays him as an “object,” like Jack U said, switching to a time-lapse speed while people use him as a canvas for however they want to paint him as.
Completely adore the styling of the video; given new life to an already incredible song <3

I gave the album a listen the other day expecting to find more gems like this. Wasn't all totally what i wanted but it was a very fun, high-octane listen.
I can't stop returning to this video though

Looks like the video release was a little too late as it had no impact on the song's chart position.

I'm really hoping we get another single though. To Ü would seem the most obvious choice but I'm really adoring Jungle Bae right now.

Pretty good album tbh! The singles still remain the best for me but no album track has jumped out at me yet.

Jack Ü had some well deserved success at the Grammys last night with Where Are Ü Now winning 'Best Dancing Recording' and the album taking the 'Best Dance/Electronic Album' gong.
