PROUD AND WANNABE YOUR LOVER Happy #PrideMonth from me and the @spicegirls! I’m so excited to share this year’s Pride T-shirt with you! For the third year in a row we’ve partnered with the wonderful @aktcharity, this year with a special Wannabe T-shirt. 100% of the proceeds go to akt, to continue funding the amazing work they do to combat LGBQT+ youth homelessness in the UK. Pride to me is a celebration of being completely yourself and this year’s T-shirt is a reminder of that. The Spice Girls really championed accepting yourself and others, being kind, having fun and just living your best life! The LGBTQ+ community is so close to my heart and I’m so proud to be supporting Pride 2021 with the girls and akt again this year. x VB https://www.victoriabeckham.com/products/pr...-shirt-in-white For the third year in a row, we have created a limited-edition T-shirt to celebrate Pride. This year’s design is a special collaboration with both the Albert Kennedy Trust and the Spice Girls, referencing their iconic 1996 debut single, Wannabe – which celebrates its 25th anniversary this July. The Spice Girls championed individuality, accepting yourself and others, kindness and having fun and this year’s T-shirt serves as a reminder of those important messages. The design is printed into a cotton T-shirt, cut in our classic Victoria silhouette, with a relaxed, boxy fit and ribbed crew neckline. 100% of all sales of the T-shirt will go to akt (the Albert Kennedy Trust) to continue funding their work combating LGBTQ+ youth homelessness in the United Kingdom. To learn more or donate, please visit akt.org.uk. ~~~~~ Original Post: the 'VVB Proud and Wannabe your lover' t shirt is so expensive! |

I'm not surprised it's this expensive, her Pride t-shirt last year was as well and we have to realise it's not Spice Girls merch but done by her label which is quite expensive to start with. The Versace x GaGa ones are around 200 I believe.
I do really like the design and message. Usually I am very spectic about brands and corporates putting a rainbow flag on everything this month, but this money is going to charity and VB and the other girls have been outspoken allies since the very beginning. |

I mean, I like that they are collaborating between the two brands - SG and VB - but the tshirt is tacky and expensive as hell so im not sure I can justify it ah

I’ll pass on that too.
Even if it’s for charity, white t-shirt costs me over 100 pounds is a joke. |

A white t-shirt with that simple of a design should never cost that much. So ridiculous!

It’s £80 not over a hundred. It is expensive but at least 100% going to charity not a daft 10% like most people do

It is great that it's 100% of the profits to be fair
(btw it would be over £100 for masahiro when factoring in shipping charges) |

It is nice that something brought them together, as a five. The individual pictures are lovely (although, as ever, it looks like Geri didn't get the memo... the others did casual selfies, but her picture looks oddly superimposed lol...)
There's also a £95 pouch: https://www.victoriabeckham.com/products/pr...-pouch-in-black I think their hearts are in the right place, but the price point certainly cuts out a lot of people. So does the sizing of the t shirts. Let's just say that XL t shirt is not going to fitting a typical XL person...! One last thing, but the slogan used feels a bit clunky/awkward to me... |

I think if it was cheaper, I would buy it as Spice merch (which they kind of are....) but I cant justify so much money and will probably wait till the end of the month to see if it gets any cheaper ah

TAFKAG (The Artist Formerly Known as Ginger) has the worst caption and less LGBTQ+ affirming, to be honest. Such an “all lives matter” kind of message, I can’t with her: be yourself, whoever you are. She didn’t want to piss the Commonwealth talking about the people who made her famous and allowed her to wear white today? 😂 I’m more and more in love with Mel B. What a fierce woman she is. 😍 |

Geri is totally a 'All Lives Matter' type of person... remember when she was all like 'Oh, I love the gays dont I' and it sounded super cringe at the Manchester show in 2019?... I know her heart is in the right place and that's what matters though
ANYWAY good for them |

But as a fan who bought her solo music, it saddens me a bit. Her new persona is just.. 😬 I won’t buy the t-shirt as I promised to only support LGBTQ+ businesses and ONGs directly, but it’s cool the girls came together to support Vicky B’s idea. |
