Girls Aloud split: who will take their place?

Little Mix? They have own image and own sound

The saturdays? They don't have own image (they looks like Girls Aloud 2) or own sound (more of the same), It's a shame that their music has become dance generic and boring, They have not released a good single from Higher, The Saturdays don't innovate anything

Neon jungle? I love these girls

stooshe?

Little Mix will cover some of their market but overall i would believe it will be a brand new band that will take their place and i say that lightly in that i mean fill the void Girls Aloud have left in the market. The Saturdays simply are not contenders and if anything they themselves will call it a day within the next year at the most. MKS could potentially do quiet well but it is hard to call just yet.

None of them. The nearest contenders would be (currently) The Saturdays, but they are plain and boring in comparison despite their longevity (for a girlband.)

No one girls aloud are girls aloud. And in this current time on the music industry I think that girls aloud will hold onto their most top 10 singles In a row

No one will really replace them but I think Little Mix could have a strong second album campaign.
MKS and Stooshe beat lots of girlbands in the talent stakes but I'm not sure either will have huge media support.

To be honest at this moment of time girl bands just don't seem to fit in the industry at the moment. It will come around again, but no one will ever truly take their place now that physical singles (minus the charity releases and TV winners) are dead.

The Saturdays felt like they were being lined up to replace GA from the Tangled Up tour but it didn't quite work that way when Out of Control arrived. MKS and Little Mix are completely different. It does feel like proper bona fide bubblegum pop is a dying breed now.
