Decided to do some digging on the Spotify Charts about artists/songs who've achieved 1 million daily streams for a track. Unsurprisingly it's mostly Christmas songs that populate the list. There's currently 288 entries:
(Note - this list uses the most streamed version of the track and doesn't combine with lower streaming versions of the same song) Here's the full list going back to the beginning of the available charts on 1 Jan 2017:

I thought the data as it is was interesting enough to share as it is. I don't have the inclination or think it's necessary to start faffing around looking for less popular versions further down the chart and combining streams. I just pointed out a flaw in your list trying to help you out
a grown up person would accept criticism and fix it, would take 3 minutes but you're the opposite of humble and instead you keep the head buried in the sand and threw a tantrum Also do a search first someone already made that list and did it properly too |

We're you never told 'if you've nothing nice to say keep your mouth shut?' I'm not throwing a tantrum. I put a fair bit of effort into creating that list (and it took a lot longer than three minutes and your unnecessary 'fix' would take a lot longer than three minutes as well). The list isn't flawed just because you disagree with the methodology, it still has merit. I did search and couldn't find anything. Most of the time it's impossible to even know the combined total for songs that have multiple versions since the numbers are only published for the top 200.

Someone compiling this data could do if they wished, but equally could also choose to just extract individual versions of a track that went over 1m in a day in that one version, rather than all tracks that got there via multiple versions. I think what is posted here is interetsing enough anyway, though I'd personally like to also see it in chronological order as well as ranked by number of streams, to get a better idea of it being isolated days here and there, for the most part. |

I think we can just accept that most listeners will be listening to the most streamed version and the general statistics are good enough if not perfect. I'm most interested in when we'll get a song that hits over 3m. I reckon it'll be this Christmas but we'll see. |

So really without Xmas songs only 2 or 3 songs per year really make it that high. No songs managed it in 2019 and only 1 did in 2020 which is interesting
