If This Is Love was The Saturdays break through and their first ever song for one of the best girlbands of all time. It received mainly positive reviews and Popjustice ranked it #45 for best songs of 2008. It samples Situation by Yazoo and it peaked at #8 on it's first week of release selling nearly 15k. It spent 9 weeks in the top 100 and has sold over 107,000 [according to wiki]. They performed or appeared on the Nokia Green Room, GMTV, Loose Woman and Nickelodeon to promote the song. It was the opening performance of their Work Tour. I wish this song finished higher as I love it.

I'm sorry but the fact issues is doing so well is life. It is their best song and it is just so beautiful. It really looked like it was going to finish 15th or 16th at one point

And all fired up is the only song to not receive a vote yet in the least favourite songs rounds. Surprisingly in the flash vote though it was the only song not to receive a vote in the favourite section

I'm shocked 'Work' has such a small following/fanbase. It's huuuuuuge.

It's also quite funny that Issues might stay this round considering it was in danger in most of the previous ones

I think I like pretty much everything that's in there, although I wouldn't really feel bad at all if these three were next : Up, Issues and My Heart Takes Over. After these three, then I guess 'What Are You Waiting For' can go out. 'Work' is too good to go now. :'(

I find it amusing (because I love all three of them), that On Your Radar is the only album that has all it's singles still in (at the moment) since we've lost If This Is Love, Forever is Over, Missing You and Gentleman.

What Are You Waiting For? Does not deserve to go quite yet. Maybe in 2 or 3 songs. It's definitely better than Work, Issues and MHTO.

agreed. people just resent it because it's going to be their biggest flop. It;s better than at least 3 of the remaining songs.

That's it though, people only resent songs like Forever is Over, Gentleman and My Heart Takes Over because they supposedly flopped. Had Forever is Over beaten Chipmunk and Gentleman made top ten/not followed WAU or even MHTO not leading to the fail of OYR, I bet these songs would be favourites among fans.

I'm not sure that's strictly true for everyone though, or indeed for all of those songs. Gentleman maybe, because it was a big old flop, but Forever Is Over went top 2, I think the thing is people didn't want a Kelly Clarkson track from The Saturdays. Gentleman is a truly awful song too and I doubt I'm alone in thinking that. Also re. WAYWF, the Xenomania sound has always been rather divisive so that's probably at play here too (I've not actually read that thread, so just surmising here).
