So that's Scott, Lydia, Malia, Allison (!!!!), Coach (YASSSS), Sheriff, Argent, Deaton, Jackson, Parrish, Melissa and Liam confirmed, no mention of Derek or Peter yet but it says more names are coming. Intrigued to see how Crystal fits into it (unless she's not playing Allison a la Marie-Jeanne but time will tell on that one) |

Lots of drama going on online as Arden was apparently offered half of what Holland, Shelley and Crystal were offered oops. Not a good look for the movie and she's worth much more than that so I don't blame her for walking away. Dylan O'Brien has liked a tweet supporting Arden (and hasn't acknowledged the movie otherwise despite allegedly being interested during early talks).
Other than that, obviously Dylan OB's absence is making a lot of people upset but I think Teen Wolf was always more than just Stiles - he's one of the best characters (if not THE best character) but it was primarily Scott's journey and to say it's all about Stiles undermines the performances of Posey, Holland, Shelley, Sprayberry and everyone else - I bought into all of the characters, not just Stiles. I'm so hyped regardless and the fact that most of the familiar faces will be present is enough - I'm hoping they close the deal with Tyler Hoechlin as that will likely win a few fans back round. Aside, I've been rewatching the later seasons recently and credit really has to be given to Shelley Hennig - I underrated Malia on my first viewing but Shelley's performance hits the spot every time, all the comedic scenes as well as the emotional stuff (when she first finds out that she's a Hale in season 4 and leaves Stiles without saying a word...!). |

lol literally the only thing that’s keeping Hoechlin (and Cody for that matter too!) is the CW, with both of their shows (Superman & Lois and All-American) being among the network’s most popular shows

Okay so it seems Kira was pretty essential to the plot as they're actually recasting her?!?! (and still hoping to pay the actress as little as possible)
Literally all they had to do was pay Arden what she deserves... |

Honestly going by that I'd assume they're directly recasting Kira rather than making a new character? I'm not sure which is worse

For a one off special would they really want to be recasting Kira? Just leave her out of it and have an off-screen presence and reference the character. Crikey that won't go down well at all if they do recast.

Tyler Hoechlin confirmed to also be producing the film (via Jeff Davis' Instagram story last week) alongside the already rumoured participation as an actor, and a costumer for the film replied to Ian Bohen on an Instagram post saying he'll be seeing him soon, reassuring news! Khylin Rhambo also expected to be back as Mason
