The Smurfs is being rebooted after the weird animation/live-action hybrid films and now it is just full animation. This looks quite fun and I chuckled a fair few times at this trailer. It reminds me a little of the recent Trolls film actually so I hope it's just as fun. |

Wonder what Father Abraham would think of this Smurfs reboot?
One too many sequels for me. |

Eh, I think I've got to that (st)age now where these C-list animated movies just don't cut it for me anymore. If I was younger, I'm sure I'd have absolutely loved this but it is just too aimed at kids for me nowadays. Saying that, I did like Hefty, he was easily my favourite character and I also laughed at the caterpillar massage gag. Idk if it is just because I was younger and so enjoyed them more but bring back the animated/live-action hybrid tbh, Hank Azaria was much more compelling as Gargamel anyway

Yeah this was cute I guess but not much else, compared to most other animations around that can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike, I thought this one was aimed too much at kids for me. I liked the ladybird but most of my favourite lines were in the trailer so I ended up being disappointed, nowhere near as good as "Trolls" which I agree it looked similar to.
