Hot rumours circulating that Disney are going to announce a 4th film.

I see no reason why this should be anything other than GOOD news. The first three are all so amazing and there is so much scope for storylines as, let's face it, a toy's world can go wherever they want it to.

I know there will be those who wish to preserve the trilogy but I'm capable of forgetting all about the fourth film's existence if it isn't up to scratch.

The third film was the perfect ending. Why do they have to keep milking it? drama.gif sad.gif

I hope it doesn't tarnish. Toy Story 3 was beyond any of my expectations and was a perfect and fitting ending. Where could they go from there?

Has it not already been confirmed? unsure.gif

But anyway, definitely my most anticipated film right until the second it gets released. I can not fault the first three and it's my favourite EVER trilogy of films.

"Milking" seems like such a weird word to use for it Griff. It's only milking when they run out of ideas yet continue to churn them out, which considering #3 was the strongest they don't seem to have just yet. In fact i'd say they've improved leaps and bounds for each installment.

LEAVE IT. PLEASE. It's the perfect trilogy. Literally perfect.

Pixar need to get back to the original story telling they were known for.

I felt #3 was necessary as it explored what happened when the young boy is no more, I can't see where they'd take it from here which isn't repeating what they've already done before.

I'm rather passionate about this because Toy Story WAS my childhood and I couldn't bear to see it tarnished sad.gif its also one of those rare flawless trilogies, Pixar haven't exactly been on top form lately so I wouldn't trust them with this...

THIS. SO MUCH.

Cancel the 'Finding Nemo' sequel, too! Before it's TOO late. If they are so dead set on doing a sequel, surely 'Incredibles' opens itself to a sequel more than the other films they have?

I'm still looking forward to this, so much though. Just because I love the trilogy and because it's PIXAR. ('Cars 2' I haven't seen) but 'Brave' was pants though. It's the only Pixar film, where I actually wanted to turn it off, half way through. It was just ridiculous. sad.gif

Pixar have rubbished reports of Toy Story 4. There won't be one anytime soon according to the official source.

Well, you know what I mean. Toy Story 3 was the perfect ending, they don't have it going forever before it does get milked.

But if it was a false report, that's good for me. biggrin.gif

I think 'Toy Story 4' would have to happen in about another 17 years if it was to happen. I'm not keen on the idea of (another) sequel tbh, they just need to get some fresh films out in the meantime.

The only film in need of another sequel is 'Cars'.
1: Because it's their biggest film in terms of merchandise - they need to get more toy cars out there!
2: Because I love it. kink.gif

YES. The Incredibles could easily become episodic, whereas the rest of their films are brilliant standalone stories. Whoever let Cars 2 happen just needs to disappear.
