Both X and Aphrodite were selected as better albums than Golden in previous polls.
Do you think the same applies with Body Language or do you think differently? Please vote and post your choice. |

Golden is an easy choice in this one.
Much greater album, Slow and Chocolate are excellent songs and BL standouts but Dancing is better. Golden as a package is stronger in every way. |

Easily golden. Apart from the singles I dont listen to anything from body language and even with the singles I'm not a big red blooded woman fan.

Golden, more variety but still enjoy Body Language, it’s a sexy album, shame it didn’t do better.

Body Language was aimed at the American market but it didn't really work i think the album should have been more aimed for the UK market with a different sound. I think it was just to different from the light years and fever. It did show Kylie was not scared to do something different and it did work for her as it was successful but could have been much more successful after following the massive Fever. Kylie to be fair was never afraid to take risks with albums and always kept it fresh.

Body Language was the worst choice of her career... after the huge international success of Fever , instead of releasing a solid pop album to cement her status as an international superstar, she decided to release the lame Body language which lacked hits and was made of fillers, and instead of breaking her further in the US market like she originally intended, it returned her to unknown status there.... huge mistake...

I'm a bit torn, I'm tempted to pick Golden as the better album but I have at least 15 years of memories with these Body Language tracks (even if it is a flawed album).

Sometimes where an album comes changes perception, I think golden benefits from following 2 disappointing albums and body language suffers from following 2 brilliant albums.

That does play a role in the initial perception of an album and i would think the same.

Golden is a better album. Her vocals sound better but body language includes the amazing ‘slow’.

Body Language for me. I don’t love it but it has its high points and I liked the less commercial direction. Plus Slow is almost worth it alone.

Def less commercial but I would have preferred a more commercial release.

This result is a big surprise as i was expecting an easy win for Golden.
Either album could win now. |

Body Language was very daring for Kylie at the time of release.
She took her sound to a completly new direction and for career development this is always very important. That said, i strongly feel she should have continued the Light Years/Fever trend on one firther album and then went with the Body Language sound. Aphrodite would have been the ideal follow up and i think it would have benefited hugely followubg on from the overwhelmingly popular Fever. |

'Golden' definitely as its just a fantastic body of work with its rich production & a perfect example of how Kylie's matured as an artist. The last couple of years had been very shaky career wise for and thankfully this wonderful collection of songs put her back on the right track. With some brilliant moments such as 'Dancing', 'Stop Me From Falling', 'Golden', 'Sincerely Yours', 'Live A Little', 'Shelby 68', 'Raining Glitter', 'Music's Too Sad Without You' & 'Lost Without You', makes this one of her best body of work of her entire career.
'Body Language' is fine also, this has grown on me more as the years go by & while this & 'Golden' both explores new ground for Kylie, the other album did it better. This does ooze style and sophistication, but its the 2nd half of the album that really lets it down (apart from 'Loving Days'). The 3 singles are really fantastic 'Slow', 'Red Blooded Woman' & 'Chocolate', still a shame we didn't get a 4th, with either 'Secret (Take You Home)' or 'Promises' could have easily fit the bill, while 'Still Standing' & 'Sweet Music' are also highlights. |

Golden serves as one of Kylie most sound consistent albums.
It doesn't necessarily offer her finest songs but it houses many solid pop songs. |

Ya and with golden they really seemed to have picked the right songs for the album. Dancing will go down as a classic kylie single for me.

Dancing is such a strong song and fits perfectly alongside many of Kylies other classics.
That said, i have the same feelings towards Musics Too Sad Without You. |
