Absolutely love this! Reminds me a bit of The Smiths (which is always a welcome comparison for me), and I'm happy it's a nice long track at 5:32.

Or maybe that's just his voice?
He sounds no different than his other releases. |

Literally can’t wait for the album - I’ve heard most of the songs at his shows and am so ready for him to dominate the charts.

Can't wait for this. The Borders does sound more like Springsteen and The Killers than they do though. Roll on next Fri!

He’s already racked up just under 16k on pre-orders from his website, launch shows and Amazon so should easily get the well deserved #1 place Hopefully he’ll manage to sneak in the Top 40 singles too with ‘Will We Talk’

That's class for him, prob helped by the long time the albums been on as a preorder and the delays - means he will likely sell 40k imo!

The multiple formats have really helped too - the UK exclusive mini disc has sold out along with the signed CD on his official website and 50% of the picture discs have sold too. He’s signed 6,000 CDs and Vinyl for Amazon which will help attract some sales. |

Went to both of his album launch shows at Banquet last night - amazing to see him in a tiny venue although I know it’s going to be one of the last times. After his upcoming UK tour he’ll be moving onto Arenas.

16K pre orders is pretty impressive!!
I can see this being one of those long running like albums. I have a feeling he’s due a big single sometime soon but it’ll come from a big TV slot promo boost. |

Can't wait to hear this tomorrow morning, even if we have already heard over half of it. Looking forward to listening to the singles in an album context.

Every single review has been positive so far. I think the first week sales and longevity will take a few people by surprise - it’s the R1 album of the weekend this week too.

It's already an 8/10 without me hearing the new songs. Can't wait to see how the likes of Play God and That Sound work in an album context. The latter reminds me of being freezing cold as it was big (on the radio) in January! Dead Boys is a classic autumn masterpiece too.
