I'm underwhelmed but I'll wait for a studio version to judge... which may not be coming imminently judging by their Twitter post?

"Right Now" is a buzz single. The lead single will be released on May 3.

"Right Now" is HAIM's first new material since the release of their 2013 debut Days Are Gone. The first official single from Something To Tell You is due on May 3 ahead of their May 16 appearance on Saturday Night Live.

so good to hear them again <3 "that's how you fuckin do it~"

Posted by: Bjork 27th April 2017, 02:55 PM

Love it

Posted by: Ashley 27th April 2017, 06:09 PM

It's very Haim...not sure if it's particularly good yet. It doesn't really venture away from the sound of their first album. You could listen to Let Me Go or Better Off and they're pretty similar to this.

Posted by: Davidson 28th April 2017, 12:14 PM

Bit of a strange decision to premiere the non-studio version. Would rather hear it properly and for them to come back with a bang.

Posted by: Juan Carlos 🌊 2nd May 2017, 08:16 PM

"Want You Back", the lead single, premieres tomorrow on BBC Radio 1 at 7:30pm. GMT.

Posted by: cqmerqn 2nd May 2017, 09:15 PM

Should've waited until Friday and it could've debuted top 40

Posted by: Cameron 4th May 2017, 08:30 AM

I like it! Yay!

Posted by: Joe. 4th May 2017, 09:58 AM

I must be in the minority because I prefer Right Now

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 4th May 2017, 11:09 AM

It's more of the same really isn't it? It's alright though.

Posted by: ~josh~ 4th May 2017, 03:31 PM

This is definitely more of the same from them but it has a catchy little refrain that's getting increasingly lodged in my brain with every listen and I'm just so glad to have them back FINALLY to be honest heart.gif Been listening to their debut a couple times recently and forgot how amazing 'Days Are Gone' and 'If I Could Change Your Mind' are, hope we get something just as good this time around.

Posted by: cqmerqn 6th May 2017, 09:38 AM

Love Want You Back. Sounds very commercial and seems to be doing well on iTunes and Spotify.

Posted by: 360Jupiter 6th May 2017, 12:18 PM

I'm mixed on it for now. Not as strong as their first album singles, but probably better than the worst tracks from it.

Posted by: Chez Wombat 6th May 2017, 02:35 PM

I mean it's lovely to hear them back, but I was hoping after all this time, there'd be a bit more progression in their sound sad.gif

Me too but now Want You Back has properly lodged itself in my brain.

I just hope there is something a bit more upbeat on the album. I'd like some more Haim songs to dance to.

omg FUCK ME UP

Posted by: lewistgreen 20th June 2017, 10:47 AM

This is f***ing stunning!

Posted by: HarryEzra 20th June 2017, 11:03 AM

Yes Haim! I think in due course I will love that more than Want You Back!

Posted by: Riser 21st June 2017, 03:47 AM

Yes! Sounded so promising when they performed it on SNL and the official version's as good as I hoped! Best thing I've heard from this album so far wub.gif

Posted by: Josh! 21st June 2017, 10:19 AM

Well, Little of Your Love is completely amazing. Can't wait to get home and put it on my phone now because that is going to sound SPECTACULAR during summer on the warm walks home. If I Could Change Your Mind remains their best song ever for me but both this and WYB are certainly up there. The hype is through the roof for this album now w00t.gif

Posted by: Spinning Allie 21st June 2017, 05:37 PM

wub.gif I need to stream this band ASAP

Doing an initial rank just for a fun

09.0 Want You Back
08.0 Nothing's Wrong
11.0 Little Of Your Love
07.0 Ready For You
08.0 Something to Tell You
09.0 You Never Knew
10.0 Kept Me Crying
09.0 Found It In Silence
06.5 Walking Away
07.5 Right Now
08.5 Night So Long

The Run of You Never Knew > Found It In Silence *.*

Posted by: Cremey 8th July 2017, 10:25 AM

Loving this all so much. 'You Never Knew' is my my immediate favourite heart.gif

Posted by: Mrs. Potts 12th July 2017, 11:50 AM

I'm really pleased with this album but I'm not sure it's as good as their debut album to be honest, it could've done with a few more upbeat bops in my opinion. Saying that, I think that Want You Back is one of their best ever tracks (probably just behind If I Could Change Your Mind) and Little of Your Love isn't far behind on the glorious-ness scale either wub.gif

11.0 Want You Back
09.5 Nothing's Wrong (this feels like one of the more Fleetwood Mac like songs and is one of my faves wub.gif)
10.0 Little of Your Love
10.0 Ready For You
08.0 Something to Tell You
09.0 You Never Knew
08.5 Kept Me Crying
07.5 Found It In Silence
08.0 Walking Away
08.5 Right Now (this has grown massively since we first got to hear it, it is rather lovely wub.gif)
07.0 Night So Long

The jump back into the song after the robot vocals in 'Ready For You' is THE best moment on the album heart.gif

Posted by: liamk97 12th July 2017, 12:39 PM

I was a little worried I wouldn't like the album as much as I would have liked - I enjoyed but wasn't particular won over by 'Right Now' and 'Want You Back' - but there's a few nice moments starting to shine on this album just a couple listens in. Definitely works well as a full body of work that can soundtrack chilling in the sun. 'Little of Your Love' is bound to be the next single.

Posted by: lewistgreen 8th August 2017, 02:02 PM

Little Of Your Love has (not surprisingly) been confirmed as the next single.

Posted by: Josh! 8th August 2017, 02:16 PM

No surprise at all but pleased to hear the news. A shame the weather is not so nice at the moment because it's so summery and sounds AMAZING in the sun wub.gif

If they release Ready for You next then that will be a killer run of singles *-*
