Shame that some of these songs did not do better in the charts, I'm quite a fan of the last release from DJ Snake which has hit written all over it if you just give it a listen. I would also have liked to see both Tiesto songs in the Top 10 this year. Last mention from me goes to Imany – Don't Be Shy, it's such a fresh sound, I still play it most days.

there's still a chance for a few of these actually (Alan Walker, Anne-Marie, Bob Marley, Imany, MNEK, Tiesto) and others I wouldn't say have underperformed.

Sing Me To Sleep is my favourite, and I'd like to hope it will actually be given a push, as I imagine it could smash.

I don't think the story is over yet for Imany either, it's starting to smash across Europe, I think it will get another push.

It did, but you should have seen how popular it was for some time on Shazaam charts, it promised to be a major hit, but it didn't even make Top 10.

I'd be delighted if these tracks made it into the top half of the charts.

Would really love a big push for DJ Snake.

Yeah I think "underperforming" is premature for some of these, some haven't even had a push yet tongue.gif (plus I don't think Anne-Marie's song is dance at all)

Having just said that about Anne-Marie, she gets my vote heehee.gif

Rinse & Repeat is the best from the list, though I would say it performed very well chart-wise tongue.gif (at least from the perspective of it not really 'sounding' like a hit to me)

Probably the biggest underperformance from the list would be that Sigma one ("Cry" didn't fare very well either despite also having good airplay)

I'm going for 'Do It Right', I'm still hoping there's time for that to do something.

Gorgon City - criminal really that this wasn't a T20 hit when some of their other tracks made it.

Broken because mediocre dance tracks don't automatically go top 20 tongue.gif

Some of these are good though but it's also very obvious why some of these haven't done very well (Hype, Stay, Dream Bigger)

I chose Piece of Me but that's done ok-ish

Most of them haven't even gone top 75!

The Philip George one is a great bit of uplifting funky house that sounds like it is from the early to mid 2000s so I have to go with that one. Maybe the retro sound is why it didn't do so well, everyone seems to want futuristic stuff now with weird vocals or chilled tropical.

Speaking of the early and mid 2000s there were lots of great dance tracks which underperformed then, but it was because of the sheer number of new entries. Now it's because songs are staying in the top 40 for longer.

The first half of the year has probably has had the least number of new dance entries in the top 40 since 2010-2012 when dance music usually didn't do that well in the charts unless it was David Guetta or Calvin Harris, although i don't know.

Rinse & Repeat without any doubts, even despite it has charted way better than the others

Bob Marley & The Wailers feat. LVNDSCAPE & Bolier – Is This Love

?? What, this hasn't even started to get big yet, you can't say it has underperformed at this early stage.
