This show is ALL ABOUT the ultra fabulous Christine Baranski. That isn't the only reason I watch of course, it is brilliantly written, brilliantly acted and MUST WATCH TV.
I have to say S2 is really working for me much more so than S1, more so the further into it we get though. The character development is great and obviously something they can focus on a little more now. |

Oh but I think my highlight of the entire show so far is the never ending stream of ridiculous judges they seem to have developed. The best being the one who insists on having 'in my opinion' added onto every sentence (from episode S2E8 'On Tap)

I just watched the episode with Miranda Cosgrove as the tween DUI suspect. I thought she did well! And I thought the writing was quite good and didn't foray into parody territory like it could've. Grace in particular grew on me with that mom/Alicia business.

Grace in particular grew on me with that mom/Alicia business. Further into the series and Grace is really starting to annoy me. I get what they are trying to do and there are a few good scenes in episode 15 with her mum, but other than that I'm not really liking her as much these days. I've never warmed to Grace, she's gotten worse as the series has progressed. The worst offender is obviously Becca though.

I think Becca is alright, she's given us some great scenes with Eli, although that is mainly down to him admittedly, but she is the vehicle for it.

I love Eli. I'm hoping America Ferrera returns so they can bump uglies.

Episode 19 and 20 I believe. She apparently saves the day Ugly Betty style which I'm not too keen on

S02E09 with the client on death row - does TV actually get any better than this? Julianna Margulies put in her finest performance to date for me at the end...

I've just watched Episode 16, another cracker. I loved the high drama of the partners meeting, naturally Christine was doing an amazing job of being fabulous, but I am so glad to be rid of Derrick and in brilliant style too, what a c**t. Oh and Derek Lee made me LOL, he's such a smug bast*rd but he pulls it off brilliantly.

Oh YAY. I can't see where things are going to go right now regarding anything, least of all the election (I'm hoping Peter doesn't win to be honest and I don't think he will do either). It's all very exciting.
That didn't need to be spoilered particularly but I don't want to spoil a single moment for anyone. |

The second Michael J. Fox episode was absolutely fantastic, surely one of the best 'regular' episode yet (ie. excluding 'event' episodes like the jury one and the ones focused on a race against the clock like the death row and rape victim eps). I'm really enjoying Tammy (Will's friend with benefits). She's so much fun. I didn't see the twist with Derrick Bond coming either (keylogging Alicia's computer to get ammo against Diane). Can't wait for them to smack him down. The episode didn't miss Cary either; much as I love him I think he's not essential to every episode whilst he's not working for the firm. And no Blake! Hurrah!

I'm hoping for a proper Blake V Kalinda SHOWDOWN at some point. Although with Derrick gone and Blake working for him, I assume he's gone now too and we won't be getting one. Seems like a bit of a wasted avenue to me, unless he is still there or it was just sowing seeds for the Kalinda story
