I thought it'd be interesting for us to use this topic to discuss compilations that aren't the Now series (that can stay with it's own thread).

The main reason for me starting this is because a compilation got released this week that is right up Buzzjack's street.... 'Girl Power'. I'll post the tracklisting and cover in the next post. But use this thread to either discuss future compilations or may be create your own alternative tracklistings.

Great album! However no Britney and Little Mix is saddening </3 (I assume Madge & Taylor etc... Were licensing issues - so I understand their omissions)

I remember seeing a provisional track listing that said "Give Me All Your Luvin'" was suppose to be on Disc 1, but I guess it was pulled last minute. I've ordered it, because it reminds me of the Pop Princess albums. wub.gif

I saw a trailer for this on TV this morning. It's a good tracklist although having sought it out on Spotify they've included the album version of Honeyz - 'Won't Take It Lying Down' and not the far superior single mix!

That compilation has pretty much the most predictable choice for each artist.

(Jonjo's one is fabulous though)

The advert where Spice Girls mixes into Kelis and then into Mis-Teeq took my wig!

Speaking of compilations. Universal use UMOD for making compilations and Sony had a similar concept with "Top Compilations", but I haven't seen a Sony made compilation in ages. They must be just relying on MOS and NOW to make their compilation money.

I bumped Ava Max up to #4 on Disc 1 (from #9) now that it's a huge hit. I've been listening to it again and I am SLAYED by my choices. Not gonna lie kink.gif

The Girl Power album looks amazing, if streaming and downloads weren't a thing then I would totally have bought that CD although I probably have most of those tracks already teresa.gif
