Another week, another UK rap song looking to break the Top 40. I wouldn't have pegged Nines to be on the verge of commercial success, but he did have a Top 5 album last year. However, he never struck me as a singles artist until now. Produced by Steel Banglez, 'I See You Shining' is doing well on Spotify, in the midweek chart update and has received spot plays from 1Xtra and Capital XTRA. This strikes me as a catchy enough to crossover but not commercial enough to instigate 'sell-out' claims - the perfect medium for any underground rapper.

This is a really good song, I enjoyed hearing it in the chart show and have now been listening to it on Spotify cheer.gif

Hyped to see this become a Top 40 hit!

Liking this a lot, my favourite Nines song so far (although 'Can't Blame Me' and 'High Roller' were also enjoyable).

I just realised that this is the same guy that featured on the Tulisa track British Swag, I was just revisiting it and then noticed his name. It is one of my favourite tracks from the album.
