It really was an absolutely fantastic first episode, so much more instant than the US version for me. 9 out of 10 of them really have something about them. Unfortunately Gothy seemed completely out of her depth and didn't bring anything to the table.

Sum Ting Wong, The Vivienne and Baga Chips really shone for me. Think Divina, Cheryl and Blu are fab too.

I think Vinegar is a brilliant performer just lacking in the aesthetics part but I don't really care that much about that. Scaredy Kat seems to be very much looks and her personality is annoying me a little bit but she has something. Crystal seems a bit beige so far hope she brings something extra soon.

am i the only one a bit disappointed that they didn't actually have to SEW their own shit? like what was even the challenge? bring a couple of costumes from home? bring on the next episode where it turns out they were given the script months in advance as well :')

Blu was robbed of a Top 3 spot and I was hoping Sum Ting Wong would win the challenge as well (seems like a common theme in this thread, oops).

They really have nailed this. It didn't feel like some budget Drag Race spinoff. I loved how fresh and rough around the edges it was — like the earlier seasons. The British humour translated so well and Ru was so present for it all. I'm impressed.

(justice for sum ting wong)

omg i loved this so much, the humour is exactly what i wanted like we got a nadine coyle, kat slater and a kim woodburn reference all in one episode *.* cheryl is my favourite right now, also liking baga tbh!

i actually thought the vivienne was one of the worst tho oops. i think im the only one not warming to blu, idk why either tbf. her look reminds me of a cross between blair and aquaria.

It was exactly the same as the Gaga episode, neither of those were sewn either. The challenge is to make best impressions and show who you are as a queen.

I was at the biggest of the Birmingham viewing parties and we were MAD not to see our girl Sum Ting Wong take a deserved win! The Vivienne is great though, I wouldn't have had her win this episode but she seems a stand out in terms of the whole show. Her entrance look was in a league of its own and she carries herself like a confident winner.

I'm obsessed with Baga Chipz, she IS the heart of British drag. Poor Gothy, she just... shouldn't have been there, poor thing.

Hey, if Gothy Kendoll can be a drag queen then SO CAN YOU!

This is such a good cast though, definitely feels like they've got a representative of all the different styles and genres of drag represented in the ten queens, excited to see how the dynamics play out on more performance based challenges.

Echoing the love for this episode, a great start to the series and I love that they interpolated a mini Untucked within the episode, I only started watching Untucked for the first time last season and it definitely felt like it dragged (lol) too long, so this was the perfect balance for me.

Gothy was definitely the right one to go, bless her. I thought her entrance and promo looks were really strong but her personality was just non-existent. Alan's comment on her estate agent face paint was a scream! 😂

Cheryl was probably my favourite based on first impressions, her Essex queen look was the best and I don't think she particularly deserved to be bottom three. I loved Blu's Queen Elizabeth the most of the royal looks

Omg this would have rivalled Sum Ting Wong's stamp look for me as the best of the episode!

Giving this a go for the first time! I've only watched the premiere of season 10 before so still quite fresh to this! My favourite two by far were Sum Ting Wong and The Vivienne who embodied both their looks really well. Think the Bull Ring look was my favourite overall!

Gothy Kendoll though? She didn't bring anything of note at all? Plus a personality dry as a cream cracker. The segment where Ru was trying to get her to sell her line for the headshot said it all really. I could've done a better job. Alan was absolutely right with his comment about her, did she think she did a good job?

I'm really glad Vinegar stayed as I think she can give a lot more and she has one of the best personalities of this bunch.
