It's a pretty immense line-up this year, they've really gone all out again.
Some huge names like Louise, Will Young, Anastacia The only thing that brings it down is the two BBC Breakfast presenters.. That'd be like ITV sending both Nina Hossain & Mark Austin into the jungle for I'm A Celebrity.. |

Ugh Tameka
Greg though <3 I rarely watch these days but one of my housemates next year is a dancer and loves Strictly so I'll probably see a fair bit of this one. |

Great first show last night. Everyone seems to be raving about Judge Rinder on Twitter. He was OK, but best dances for me last night were Naga and Pasha, Greg and Natalie and Lesley and Anton.

Greg was overrated I felt not great from an ungrateful Olympic bronze medallist.

I felt like Laura was undermarked and was up there with Greg. Ore was the standout. Lesley did a really lovely job, as did Naga. It really was quite a decent standard throughout.
Rinder was bizarre.. some of it looked like her was quite competent and rhythmic and other parts looked like he had not yet learnt to walk. It was too frenetic for me, my weakest of the night but not without promise. |

Because the BBC won't get rid of her. What's wrong with Tess, Toby?

I think after tonight's dances Danny off of Hollyoaks is gonna be one to watch. Likewise for Will and Louise! Ed Balls was predictably wooden but not even in an amusing Ann Widdecombe / John Sergeant way - hopefully he goes first next week.
Also that new dancer AJ looks about 12! |

Tameka and Judge Rinder were my highlights of the first week for entertainment reasons. Found it hard to wharm to Danny who seemed like "very obvious stage school attendee playing up regional accent to detract from their obvious ringerdom". My money is on Louise/Will/Greg to be the top 3 at this point.
