I'll be pretty devastated if I DNQ this time, I've so fallen in love with both Lily and the song, but it is a very strong and hard to call semi.

I'm quite certain that Tartford will Q though.

I think both AQs could do pretty well again tbh ~

Am I way out or could Lotunia possibly be a contender I think it strikes a pretty decent balance of pop but not too pop which could see it appeal pretty widely across the board, a bit Billie Eilish-esque. (That'd certainly be something if it did do really well considering Charlotte Lawrence came last in the semi with 9 points the last time she was entered lol)

a little hard to call, part of me thinks that Ojnoj would have been safe but this isn’t the semi for it at all, same for most of the pop entries. I think I’m more of a borderline qualifier and will probably get lucky (New Lexico and Beaverdonia are also in this boat) but who knows tbh so glad there’s 20 qualifiers for this

Next in line: Ojnoj, Cadelicia, Seyetana, Quintessa, maybe Daehun?

Borderline : Séyetana, Wholune, Cadelicia, Aelandor. Oslol and Suedeonia following them but both of those didn't sound like qualifiers to me.

These are both ones that I hope I'm wrong about FWIW - Séyetana is one I think sounds like it ought to be safe (it definitely does stand out!) but my prediction was based on it getting a sadly somewhat ambivalent response on plug.dj, which is a useless indicator for pop songs but less so otherwise.

Aelandor's song is cool and nice and I would like it to qualify again but seems like one of the more obvious DNQs to me

Iz to be right tho because I want to be one of the biggest songs in the semi. xxx

from what i've heard from semi 1, Hendinia sounds potentially hitworthy, Arcodesia if it can make it through, perhaps Ultraviolenceland too - I'm not sure I've heard a more lana song in BJSC for ages.

Very difficult to predict but I think Cody could sneak it. It will be big with the pop voters and it has good crossover appeal so I'm sure it will get lots of support from elsewhere as well. Jadakissnia and Hendinia also sounding a lot like possible winners too though and Klum's certainly stands out and will be popular. A strong chasing pack behind and I could imagine any of those above the second line being comfortable top tens.

Down the bottom I'm sure it will be very close once again with no really low scorers, meaning that République d'Áskorza will be sadly knocked down quite a few spots with their deduction. I'd have expected it to finish quite a bit higher otherwise.

I did think Hanne sounded like a good bet, could perhaps be the safe choice of winner.

if I were to guess though I'd attach my predicting colours to Hendinia at this point, though it might just be a song that attracts a lot of lower points but maybe fewer highs.

Something is going to completely surprise us, I'm sure.

excited about the predictions! Didn't enter The Spook Returns expecting anything of it but the more I listen the more I believe in it! My guesses for the winner would be Jadakissnia, Aeroche or Cor Lupus. Obviously depends on the flavour of the month but I think safest bet would be Cor Lupus. I reckon that will be the one that gets most votes anyway - unsure if it'll get enough big points.

A wide variety of songs I could see winning again, and watch it still be a winner that I didn't put above the line like last month Lotunia I guess is a bit of a dark horse choice for the favourite but I just have a feeling, have put a few other songs above the line which aren't too high up the other odds as well (TARO Bellamia/Trifoski/Scherzland), if I pick this many dark horses I have to be right about one of them right? x

I was this close to putting Wholune above the line too, I know it's been forever since we had a rock winner but if there was gonna be another one to cross over enough to do it now I think it'd be this. Cue it missing the top 20.
