I thought I'd start this up, this is the thread for you to post news about things happening in your country which is NOT Buzzjack song contest related, like sports, Politics, Celebrity sightings that kind of thing. You could also post about what kind of tv shows are being aired in your country (like reality tv shows or soaps or anything). Also post here about what music charts in your countries look like, what people are mostly buying etc.

Basically this is for all of your countries happenings that isn't part of the song contest. I think this might help with getting to know countries more too.

Dalisskan Big brother 1 Begins

A long awaited show "Big brother" has finally reached our shores. The show will begin on the 24th of July and will go on for 3 months. It has been announced that 14 housemates will enter the house on Friday. We hope to give you the lowdown on each housemate after Friday and keep you in the know about various happenings in the house in the coming weeks

(By the way This will be a very vague big brother, I'll mostly be posting about important things like massive fights, evictions , that kind of stuff.)

Katy Perry was seen today taking a stroll through Dalisska's famous Aquatilla park(A park featuring many natural Water falls). This confirms rumours that Katy Perry has been holidaying near the city of Rillatean for the last week.

You know.....I don't want to be the only using this , has no country got any pressing news they want to share? No scandals? No presidents having affairs with Secretaries? No Earthquakes?

I was going to do an update on the people that entered the Dalisskan Big brother house yesterday but I'm not sure if I will mostly because I'm not sure if anyone's actually interested in it. I have 7 small Housemate Bio's prepared, I might do the others tommorrow. The first bio's are a bit stale but I think I got into it a bit more when I went along.

Wall-E the Robot has been spotted around 'Kentish Town' the Shadowan capital, it is believed he hopes to use the country's BJSC 9 entrant, Margaret Berger, in a promotion for his new film. Unfortunately the Shadowan people are scared of electrical gadgets and so chased him out of the city, he has not been seen since .

Sara Bareilles was caught in Juranabaijan's capital St Juranamo - apparently trying to contact a planet called "Earth"...



However there was a 79.1 scale BuzzQuake and 28,000 citizens seem to be injured

It is not known if Sara has left the country as of yet, but all will be discovered at a later date

In this case Farahtyn are going to send FNT Nickodonia, some dairy produce such as milk, butter and cheese. Farahtyn's main producer of dairy produce Dairyland City, has overproduced again so will try and send them the dairy produce. However on hearing this the citizens of the city of Newsometimessourroundedbyamoatbuilding () attacked Dairyland City, and cause a milk spillage!!!!! However no use crying over spilt milk.......

Terrorist attack in Osnesia!

A bomb went-off in a university in Osnesia, the capital of Tinnmark today! 68 people are confirmed dead and over 80 people are hurt! The prime minister Torkil Johnsen declare the next three days for "national mourning". All schools will be closed down these three days of mourning. No one know exactly who is standing behind the terrible attack at Osnesia University! The police and the T.A.I (Terror Attack Investigation) suspect that a student from Osnesia is standing behind the attack as they are investigation the university! This is the worst loss of people since the Buzzjack World War II from 1956-1959 when over 1 500 000 tinnish people lost their lives!

This is what the prime minister said to TV Tinnmark:

"This is a sad day for all Tinnish people, my deepest thoughts goes to the families and friends of the victims. But Tinnmark is a strong country!! We will stand strong throw this sad time! the next three days will our nation stand still, in a national mourning to the victims, their family and friends, and the students of Osnesia University! In wake of the news of the terrorist attack upon Osnesia yesterday, Chancellor Cermet Karasol yesterday pledged 'full allegiance' to Tinnmark and promised to 'aid Tinnmark in such a manner that the perpetrators of this ghastly attack can be brought to justice'.

Chancellor Cermet Karasol yesterday put off his first visit to neighbouring country Bhangra, with official sources claiming that a 'family emergency' has prevented the visit. However, prominent blog 'Germet', which has been noted for its strong anti-Karasol stance, yesterday reported that the Chancellor was overheard as saying that he 'couldn't stand those depots in Bhangra', although these claims have yet to be verified.

The Eledanese border last night was subject to controversy after an apparent attempt to smuggle immigrants across the border. The border has been subject to breaches recently in the wake of the Eledanese economic crisis which has as yet not influenced the Kopecek economy.

GaGa in Hub Gig

Lady GaGa kicked off her representation of Torchwood in BJSCX last night with a performance in the Torchwood Hub in the capital city Cardopia. Thousands of fans gathered to see the show, which was kicked off by Prime Minister Jack Darkness. GaGa ran through several of her hits including Just Dance (The song she represented MKL with in BJSCXII), Beautiful Dirty Rich and Love Game and of course finished the night with Poker Face. The song has gone down remarkably well in Torchwood, with iTunes Torchwood Downloads allready sending GaGa to #3 in the Torchwoodian Charts, allready above the peak of any other BJSC Entry (the highest being Sneaky Sound System, peaking at #12). This will surely go ever higher as the contest continues and is tipped to be one of the biggest songs Torchwood have ever seen....

The Goverment Closing The Borders!

The goverment decide to close the free entry borders to Tinnmark today, after yesterdays horrible terror attack. Now must people get a passport and visa to visit Tinnmark, and only for 30 days, from the day you enter the country. The prime minister belive this will reduce illegal refugees and illegal trade. In 2007 was the number of illegal refugees 78 000, and so far this year 2008, have the number reached 90 000 illegal refugees, mostly from Norwegia.

The Hurricane "Truls" Strikes Tinnmark Isle

Today did the hurrican "Truls" strike the west-coast of Tinnmark Isle, the hurricane was reached a F3 hurricane when it striked Tinnmark. 21 people are missing and 36 people are confirmed dead. The hurrican season have just begin in Tinnmark. So far have 128 people died in natural disasters this year in Tinnmark.

Marion Raven Cancel Here Tour!

After the attack at Osnesia University have Marion Raven cancelling here tour to Norwegia, Simmondly, Bokia, Espen, United States of Russiatron, Nonsuch, Sangria, Former Scandinavia Republic of Ronitva, Bhangra, Ferverosia, Ashton and Lorikeet for three days. The Kingdom of Shadow's policeman 'Bill' has assured Tinnmark and all BJ nations that he will be especially vigilant to ensure 'none o' them terrorist types' cause any disruption during the song contest to be held next month. His brother 'Phil' (the country's fireman) has also offered to help out with security for both semi-finals and the BuzzJack Song Contest Final.

Ashton imposes more restrictions on borders

Ashton's notoriously strict border rules, were today tightened following the attack on tinnmark.

Ashton's immigrant number fell from 2550 in 2000 to 0 in 2003 after new rules were introduced. All bands who have applied to play in Ashton have been successfully granted visas.

The Ashtonise government has stood by their Tinnmark counterparts offering military and financial support.

After inflation reached a staggering 342% last month, the people of FNTNickodonia have been hit with more struggles, to stop more aid coming in the former occupiers of this glorious land (The Noodonian Republic) have blocked all the borders to stop people getting in and out, it is thought a full take over will be mounted soon.

Vulcania's Foreign Secretary, Juanita Kalypso is said to be looking to improve tourism within the country and apparently has got in touch with officials in Jester's Kingdom to arrange a new underground train link from the Orchidia continent to the Kingdom island. The train link will be situated in Vulcania's coastal city of Demford and will be fundamental in allowing tourists to cheaply and economically travel from the country to the neighbouring island. We'll bring you more news on this matter when we have it.

In other news, 12 year old Elphias Hawthorne has become the youngest person in Vulcania to obtain a GCSE in Desperate Housewives, his parents are said to be 'delighted and surprised about the news'.

Alien sightings in Dalisska?

Hundreds of phone calls were recieved at the National Dalisskan Police headquarters last night reporting Strange grey shadow like creatures shifting around the countryside nearby Rillatean. The DDU (Dalisska Defence Unit) have been called in to Rillatean to further investigate the matter. It is unknown what these Creatures want or if they are even aliens in the first place. The Head officer in the DDU suggested that what the people were seeing were most likly just Cows, however he didn't fully put aside the possibility of Extraterrestrial Beings.

The border dispute between Kopečka and Bhangra intensified last night after Bhangrese trops entered the breakaway region of West Sotesia, an area which Kopečka has long claimed belongs to them. A trade agreement between Kopečka and Eledan has been finalised after speculation that the recent economic crisis within Eledan would lead to a last-minute pull-out. Officials working on behalf of BJSC X have announced today that Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth, Vulcania's entries for the contest, have in fact double booked themselves and thus will not be able to sing at the contest. They have instead given permission for local girl, Kerry Ellis to sing the song instead. In an interview earlier today, Ellis claims that she hopes to 'bring a rockier edge to the song' and insists that she will do the song justice for all the fans of Menzel's original.

In other news, a native Vulcanian yak left drivers fuming today after refusing to budge from the entrance of Ironway Tunnel. Motorists were left stranded as the yak, nicknamed by drivers as 'Pain in the arse' sat at the entrance for a total of six hours. One driver commented that the yak had caused him to miss the start of the new series of Pimp My Ride and claimed that he would be filing a lawsuit against the yak.

Political Changes for Ashton?

After a recent uprising against current Prime Minister Jayener Hawthe, the President/Dictator Phil has revolutionised the Ashtonise political landscape in a bid to give Ashtonise citizens more say in the running of their country. Previously the President chose the PM who looked after the day to day dull stuff of the country but now a full parliament has been introduced.

The new parliament is to be housed within Ashton House (Tallest building in Morepeth Cove's Regina Governa d'Centric also known as RGC near the City Centre.)



The new extensions to the high rise building will house offices for the Members of Parliament who are to be elected by democratic means.

Each of Ashton's 9 States have been divided into constituencies and there are to be 928 seats in the parliament.

There are 4 main political parties at time of writing.

The Liberal Party of Ashton - Want full democracy and the land that Botanikka currently lies on. Least supported party of the 4
The Ashton National Party - Currently in power.
Political Party of Sanvoria - Main party of the west coast, strong political ties with the ANP
Janslic Motovicania Faywi l'Governa - Popular within Saynher Janslic (Fotherington Island)

Elections are scheduled to take place on Friday.

Dictator Phil is to continue to veto every law, rejecting and amending those he does not like. He shall also continue to impose his own laws.

The country shall be adjusting it's official name from 'Ashton' on friday to formally take the name of 'Demicrata Republique d'Ashton'. It will continue to be known as Ashton for BJSC entries.

Ashton is not expected to change it's infamous immigration laws which has seen 0 illegal immigrants within the country for the past 6years. Periodic searches, heavy penalties and tight legislation make it impossible for employers to use illegal workers. Ashton is also not expected to change it's stance over environmentalists, but did admit that all public transportation runs on Natural Gas, which emits zero emissions.

The new President, Astefann Trína Får was chosen in the last weekend by 49.192% of the citizens in Eledan and abroad. The international observers overally didn't notice any violations during the day of the national election. This was a landslide victory of the most anticipated candidate to take the place in the White House.


Eledanée president is chosen every 5 years. Astefann, the third Eledanée president, started his work immediately after the announcement of the results. His 4 contenders in the presidential elections have finished in the following order:

A proposed Eledanese economic stimulus failed today after the Chancellor of the Kope�quer Lili Stromberg announced that 'the economic situation within Kope�ka[...]is currently too volatile to allow us to agree to this loan in its current form. This is not to rule out any further agreements with the Eledanese.' Kope�ka has been unique in being one of the few countries to remain mostly unaffected by the prevalent economic crisis, mainly due to its protectionist pacts with Ashton, Mdi�e and Quotosibb, however confidence in the Kope�ek economy is low, with most forecasters predicting a fall in growth within the next year. Herzebania today restored relations with Kope�ka after the coup d'etat of last Monday, during which a desperate President Karasol was reported to have declared war on the Herzebanians for 'inflammatory comments against the pride of the nation'. A state visit by the President has been scheduled for April.

Queen Tone of Tinnmark is not Kingdom of Tinnmark's queen anymore, today she called in the president Erik André Åsnes to 'Sognfjord Palace' in 'Vestfjordane'. She said to the president that she don't think she will be the right person to represent Kingdom of Tinnmark, and that she is not handling the pressior.

The people of Tinnmark have reacted in huge dissepointment and sadness, some people said she was perfect for the job and she was the right person to represent the royal family of Tinnmark.

Tone said she want to go back to her old life, be touring around the Buzzjack World and make music.

Later today, Tone arrived the capital, Åsnesia. To her house where she lived before she was crown the queen of Tinnmark. Media from all over the Buzzjack World have been outside her home in 'Midthill', where Tinnmark's most famous people live. We didn't get any comment from Tone, but The Royal Secretary Department had a conferrance earlier today that Tone is very tired and want to rest alone with her family in 'Midthill'.

Fettlebean bids to host Buzzjack Olympics

Fettlebean has gone through another major revamp today as the city bids to host the BJ Olympics. The country is widely regarded as one of the greatest sporting nations, which makes up for it being rubbish in the song contest , the city has had several new stadiums built over its former poor district and has employed the poor to man the stadiums. It's amazing to think that in under a year Nickodonia has gone from being in ecconomic turmoil to this.

Air Disaster off Ashtonise Coast

Governa Republikken Ashton confirmed to press that a TigerAir Boeing 737-300 has crashed 15miles off the coast of Morpeth Cove. TigerAir flight 622TGA was en-route to New England Harbour Airport in Ashton's north via Morpeth Cove International Airport.

The plane was at full capacity and had 200 passengers and 15 crew on board. The nationalities of those onboard is currently unknown, but the 15 crew are all thought to be from Dr Bombay's Tigerland.

Recovery and Rescue missions are underway in the Bay of Morpeth searching for survivors and the aircraft's wreckage. The plane disappeared from MCIA Radar at 10:15am. The Ashtonise coast guard were quickly scrambled and confirmed a crash site. Military and Coast guard helicopters are searching for survivors and have been joined by 35 Military vessels and 15 Coast Guard vessels.

The plane is thought to have shattered upon impact with the Bay. The black boxes from the plane have been recovered. A full investigation is underway by the Ashtonise Air Safety board in co-operation with the NTSB of the USA.

39 people have been confirmed dead so far.

622TGA is the first air disaster in 43 years to happen in Ashtonise airspace. An aircraft operated by an Ashtonise airline has not crashed in over 70 years. The Gwafino air disaster saw the bankruptcy of Gwafino Air and 1,274 people lose their lives in the worlds worst air disaster when flight GWAIR-045 crashed into Faythern City Centre.

43 Passengers are from the Capital City [Morpeth Cove]

with the remaining 37 from the New England region on the Ashtonise north coast.


622TGA was due to off-load 104 passengers at MCIA and take on a further 56 and fuel as it flew to NEH.



The plane left Tigerland International Airport at 10pm last night.


The confirmed death toll has now reached 62 with no survivors found yet.

The AASB [Ashtonise Air Safety Board] have grounded all Boeing 737's operated within the Kingdom of Ashton after fears that a mechanical fault was to blame for the accident.


Ashtonise carriers Qantash, Air Ashton, Janslic Qjahntli [Fotherington Airlines], SanAir, AirMorpeth, Ashton International Airlines and Ashjet have no 737's in their fleet, but budget airline RyanAsh has 30. 622TGA - Investigation Update

The Ashtonise Air Safety Board has announced that TigerAir flight 622 was brought down off the Ashtonise coast by a explosive device. Investigations are continuing, but it is thought that a radical environmentalist group from Dr Bombay's Tigerland is responsible.

The Ashton Federal Intelligence Agency has been tracking their location for the past 15months. It is thought they originated near the Quotosibb boarder with intentions of spreading across Quilvoria to invade the Federal Republic and over throw the current government.

The Ashton FBI and the Federal Government are working towards destroying the group and keeping the Federal Republic safe.

All 215 people on board perished in the terror attack, and their families have been notified. The Ashtonise government, on behalf of all the Ashtonise, Rontvian, Kopeck, Tinnmarkian and Botanikkan citizens, have launched a civil suit against the government of Dr Bombay's Tigerland, the airline and the airport authority in Tigerland. Damages sought are likely to run into the trillions.

Tinnmarkian cruise 'Tinnmarkian Pearl' is skinking outside the coast of Hendinia [20:38]



A Tinnmarkian registrated cruise is sinking outside the coast of Hendinia near the Ashton border. The ship was sailing from Hendinia and was on it's way to Ashton, before it was going on to PR of Jester, Kopecka, Frahliso, Mdice, FSR Farahtyn, Bokia and it's final destination in Tinnmark. The reason why it is sinking is not known yet, but Tinnmark have already sent the military to the cruise.



The cruise have a total capacity of 2394 passengers and 1100 crew members. We do not know the diffrent nationalities of the passengers onboard, but there was mainly people from Tinnmark, Hendinia, Ashton, PR of Jester, Frahliso, Kopecka, Mdice, Bokia, FSR Farahtyn.

We will update as soon we have something new.

The Ashtonise Federal Government has closed it's investigation into the crash of Tiger Air flight 622. An explosive device planted by a rebel Environmental Group caused Ashton's biggest air disaster. Petal Pushers are first to leave Dalisskan X Factor

Tonight was the first night of the Dalisskan version of X factor. Dalisska still uses the old format with a results show on saturday. The Dalisskan public have spoken and Petal Pushers are the first act and the first group to leave X factor. This has come as a major blow to girlbands in Dalisska hoping things would be different in Dalisska than in the British X factor, but it was not to be as Petal Pushers polled the lowest amount of votes during the vote tonight.

Rebekka, Candice and Lola are said to be completely devastated an insider has reported. After the results were announced Rebekka took the mic saying "I thought things would have been different and that the Dalisskan audience would have seen something in us.....but whatever"

Petal Pushers faced Wendi Moon in the bottom two and as a result of the judges inability to agree it had to go to Deadlock which Petal Pushers lost and were then eliminated.

The latest spin off of hit CBS TV show Crime Scene Investigation ([CSI] originally set in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA) launched last night on CBS and SNA|1. Set in Morpeth Cove, [Rd'CA, Ashton] staring some of Ashton's top actors.

The Pilot for the show involved a Las Vegas serial killer feeling to Ashton and committing further murders within the country. Greg Sanders, Nick Stokes and Cathrine Willows travel to the Ashtonise capital introducing the new cast.


Crime Scene Investigation: Morpeth Cove drew 481.45million viewers. The highest viewing figures for a CSI franchise show on Ashtonise TV and the second highest rated forensics drama after Fox hit Bones, also shown on SNA|1, which regularly draws over 600million viewers.

it wasn't fun, but there was plenty of amazing pop and other genres for me in those years so I was able to ignore it...plus some of it was ok, I actually liked some of the Kooks songs

2004 was inexcusable...seriously, I look back on the retro 5 years ago every week and there was never more than 3 songs a week that I actually liked in the top ten...quite often this year I've liked the entire top ten!

Some of my favourites from 2004 missed, or only scraped the top 10. "1980", "Afrodisiac", "Come As You Are". The faceless chart toppers may have been bad, but I simply cannot have 2004 completely written off. In fact I'd say it's one of my favourites of the decade. Beverley Knight released what is probably her best album ("Affirmation"), Estelle released her debut and Brandy released "Afrodisiac". The first two would probably be in my top 10 albums of the decade.

I was also not listening to music from about 2001-2007, but it's one of my faves, looking back. 2003, however, is easily my least favourite year, hardly anyone I like released and the biggest hits are beyond over rated. ("Where Is The Love?", "Crazy In Love", "Beautiful", "Superstar" etc.)

2003 was dire, definitely my least favourite year of the decade musically...the only good thing about it was Delta Goodrem...my favourite single of the year not released by Delta was something ridiculous like Carnival Girl by Texas

2004 wasn't that bad I guess, I mean just chartwise it was...at least good music is reaching the top of the charts again these days...I mean Corrs' Borrowed Heaven came out in 2004 and that was a brilliant album, one of their finest, and then there was Delta's Mistaken Identity, Natasha Bedingfield's excellent debut album, plus brilliant albums from Atomic Kitten and Lucie Silvas, just none of them were as big as I was hoping them to be...

2003's biggest hits all got overplayed and really haven't aged well...2004's definitely one of my favourites. It was a SPECTACULAR year for R&B (You Should Really Know is one of the best answer songs ever IMO) and some of my favourite songs of all time are from 2004 (Nelly Furtado - Try, Toxic & Everytime are some of Britney's best, I Believe In You = best Christmas #2 ever, Afrodisiac...), as well as some of the best albums of the decade - Kelis, Brandy, Scissor Sisters...all of this MORE than makes up for the faceless R&B in my view

Aaron Lewis of Staind was spotted in his hotel room in a 5 star hotel in the capital, Olympus. Hotal is called Bechnov State Hotel and Spa. He is due to travel back to Massachusets on the 10th November after having taking part ina festival including more bands. These were:

It is expected more than a half a million people will turn up to the event, in the countryside around Gerpev. A farming town roughly 20 miles from Olympus.

Also, there has been a huge drug bust in the heart of Olympus. More than 2000 kilograms of coccaine was found in a ocal man's garage. He is awaiting trial and could face upto 70 years in jail after a new act has been put in place. This was enacted in a way to intimidate people to stop the trafficking of drugs. It look's like the Kelystazian government had no intentions of dropping this act.

622TGA - Bomber trial

The trail of Tiger Air flight 622TGA bomber Haibeb Drayi [A Dr Bombay's Tigerland national] was concluded earlier today. Haibeb Drayi was found guilty of making and planting an explosive devise with a time delay and killing all those on board the flight. 622TGA was intended to explode as it finished taxing to it's gate at Morpeth Cove International Airport. The plane was delayed by 1hour and exploded early over the Bay of Morpeth.

Haibeb Drayi was sentenced to death by public stoning. The sentence will be carried out at dawn when a restrained Haibeb will be driven up Morpeth Boulevard [Known locally as 'The Strip'] with members of the public free to throw whatever they wish at the guilty party. Knifes, Guns and any other objects that would make Haibeb's death less painful are banned. As are head shots.

The UN has be highly critical of Ashton's most severe form of capital punishment calling it cruel and disgusting.

Bereaved families get first throw at the north end of the strip. Haibeb will then be driven south along the south bound carriageway which was closed at 2pm to allow preparations to get underway.

If Haibeb survives the drive he will be taken to Desert Palms Hospital to recover before a rerun the following week.

Today The EBJSCC spokeswoman, Idelaida Yro, on a press conference gathered in the EBJSCC head building said that Elëdan is going to withdraw from BuzzJack Song Contest from XXXI onwards. The right limit is unknown.
"Economical issues play the very important role here. We've witnessed a big decrease in interest among people of the country. In the past 3 months it's down from 90% to 74% according to results of the poll. Also, country loses its money and due to unstable situation of economy in Elëdan it's wiser to cut the expenses for BJSC in favor of some other more important fields. So far BJSC isn't going 'against' anything else so the only thing is to watch what happens next."

On a question "What might postpone the withdraw date further away in time?" the spokeswoman answered:
"Of course, two big results, like in the last decade, might affect the situation, but we also need to host at some point. Two previous times Feethoo was hosting the event it turned out very well for the economy and we got capacity for future failures."

Since the overthrow and execution of President Čermet Karasol in the wake of Dead Disco's non-qualification in May and the succession of his political rival (the Head of the ISCBK Trashe Svantselius) to the Presidency, Arremand (also known as South Kopečka), which strongly supported Karasol's presidency, has been in a near-constant state of unrest despite President Svantselius' reforms, which have brought Kopečka's result run into a golden age. Since the non-qualification of Jasmine in July, a rebel faction known as På Vålenkis och gråter så övergivet (commonly abbreviated to På Vålkgov) has been attempting to exploit local ethnic divisions - Arremand is mainly populated by Valenquians, who have Scandinavian roots and descend from Rontvian immigrants during the infamous First Wave of immigration three centuries ago; Valenquians are separated from the rest of the nation both linguistically, culturally and physically due to the wide Čeremall River; conversely, the rest of Kopečka's population is composed of Kopečekers, who are more closely related culturally and linguistically to the Balkans and their emigre offshoots, the Mdičens, than to the Valenquians. Due to the success of the nation in the BJSC, På Vålkgov have had little success in their mission to overthrow the central government and reinstate Karasol's Valenquian-Kopeček coalition party Zpěvförbund (ZFP) in place of Svantselius' Úspěchzdar (UZP) party outside of Arremand, which has been split almost 50-50 in its support for the new government.

Ashton's second Federal Elections to be held as Ashtonise occupation of Botanikkan Island Territory continues

The Federal Republic of Ashton is set to hold their second set of federal level elections after Emperor Silas dismissed the parliament this morning.

Campaigning began immediately with the announcement of a series of live debates. The first will take place on March 29th on SCB Alpha and will be on the Botanikkan Island Territory occupation.

Ashtonise troops seized control of the Botanikkan section of Sayhner Janslic's largest island, Æsenøkja, two months ago with little opposition. There has been heavy blood shed in recent weeks with 5,000 Botanikkan troops perishing.


The United Buzzjack Nations condemned Ashton's actions, but a vote over possible sanctions was veto'd by the Federal Republic and their allies Kopecka, FSR Rontvia and Numayania.


Ashton is the second largest country by population in Buzzjack and the wealthiest with the Federal Reserve set to report a record budget surplus of AN$1,381billion [Over £122,345billion]

A 10 metres wave hit coast of Tinnmark, after an earthquake took place in Tinskesjøen! 230 km of coast was hit. 243 people have been confirmed dead, and thousands injured. Thanks to the good alarm system for tsunamis, millions of people were saved. King Erik VI spoke to the people earlier today, and showed his grief to the families that lost someone they love and their homes.

Now start the reconstruction of millions of homes, some cities are completly destroyed. The government estimates that it will take 120 billion to rebuild.

But after last months discovery of oil in Tinskesjøen, it will just be a small amount of money. Tinnmark is still climbing on the list of Buzzjack's most rich countries. And today Tinnmark's GDP per capita today is 134.822 $ which is one of the highest in the world!

Ashton languages shake up see's Norwegian on equal footing with Áskorzjan

The federal government today announced that Ashton's official languages are Áskorzjan, English and Norsk (Bokmål). Swedish was designated an officially recognised language along with German. Government documents will be published in all 5 languages and tri-lingual* signs are to be put up across the country in the next month.


*except in Ashworth where state law recognises Swedish as an official language and signs are in Ashtonise, Norweigan and Swedish by law. English will be added to new signs beginning in May 2011.

FIRE IN BEEMA CITY

Early today a fire broke out in a house in the capital of budtar, beema city. The fire then spread to over 400 houses destroying everything in its path! The blaze lasted 4 hours untill fire fighters successfully put out the fire. it has been confirmed that 17 people have died.

It is yet unknown why the fire began in the first place but investigator are alreay on the case. The president has stated that this fire should have not of happened and he will try and prevent them from happening in the furture.

This is really not good news for the country that is near to bankruptcy.

Preparations for the biggest holiday in Elëdan have started today. It's only 20 days until the event which is called "Elëda'an dagën af wreienmeier" ("Elëdan's independence day"). Nothing but hospitals, fire departments, police et al will be working that day. So yeah expect absolute BERSEKNESS from this nation who are famous for their holidays in the BJ World.



In other news an Ashtonise tourist, Treart Káni, 33, was murdered yesterday by a Botanikkan citizen whose identity has not been revealed to public, on the territory of Elëdan, 50 km from the capital, Feethoo. Person responsible has not yet been caught and all available Elëdanese powers have been brought to finding the killer. All information regarding the motive and other details are being kept in secret so far.

Breaking News from Dalisska!

Espen Embassy Staff Taken Hostage!

Staff in the Espen Embassy in the capital Lyndra were taken hostage and held at gunpoint earlier this evening when an organised crime syndicate stormed the Embassy. They demanded no less than 10 Million Dallits for the safe release of all Embassy staff and occupants.

However the situation has now worsened as one of the syndicate members has threatened to kill Herman Mott, the Espen Ambassador if the 10 Million Dallits are not delivered to a remote location within the next 24 hours.

The new development came to light as terrified secretary Ashley Tasco was released with a message of the demands.

Talks are currently being held between the Dalisskan and Espenese governments on how to deal with this delicate situation.

We will keep you posted on updates but as of now the situation looks very grim.

Crews rescue dog

A dog had to be rescued by firefighters after its paw got stuck in the plughole of a bath.

Crews were called to Harbour Lane in Porth Dur, just before 1750 CST on Wednesday to help the Pomeranian named Bingo.

Neighbour, Betty Matthews, described the event as shocking saying that incidents like this were very uncommon in the usually quiet seaside town.

After his ordeal, Bingo's condition was described as "fine".

Oh, it was The public wanted to introduce a 'sexiest female' award but judges ruled it would be going too far to have an 'international sexiest female' award just for Tone to claim a double win. Lena would have been expected to win the local sexiest female.

Federal Election returns massive majority for Emperor's political party

The Ashton National Party [Politic Natio Áskorza], represented in Sanvoria by the National Party of Sanvoria [Politic Natio d'Sanvoria], returned 87% of the vote and takes 872 of the 1000 seats.

This gives the Emperor control over the Federal Parliament and is a resounding approval of the Emperor.

Other parties returned the following results:

Politic Saynher Janslic - 91 seats
Party for the Reunification of Saynher Janslic - 2 seats
Ashworth Svenska Politic - 9 seats
New England Harbour and Treybourne unification party - 1 seat
Ashton Labour Party - 23 seats
Sjan Tivor Workers Union - 2 seats

TNS Gallup had a poll on who Tinnmarkians will vote for in the next government elections in August! This is how it turned out!

DEATH TOLL RISES IN BEEMA CITY

A fire broke out in the capital of Budtar, beema city yesterday at 4am. And after 3 hours it had burnt down over 400 houses. But luckly the fire was put out before it spread anymore.

It is still unknown how and where the fire started but invesigator are still on the case.

So far the death toll currently stands at 38 people but there are still many missing. And over 100 injured.

R.I.P the peolple who have lost there lives in this horrible fire

UnoShake 'positive' about the next contest.

UnoShake are said to be feeling 'positive' about their entry to the 35th Buzzjack Song Contest. UnoShake were last seen in the top 10 back in BJSC29 with Run by Annaca who manage to score the country a very respectable 6th place. In Buzzjack history UnoShake's best result has come from Wynter Gordon who achieved 5th place back in BJSC23 with the pop/dance fused 'Alice In Wonderland' They hope that this contest will see UnoShake return to the top 10. Rumors have it that the country have already lined up their entry to BJSC36.

Compilation album smashes all sales records

New compilation album 'FSR Rontvia: The Ultimate Collection', a 21 track compilation housing the country's finest and most memorable BJSC entries has got off to a flying start report MusicDay, selling 'over 459,000' copies in its opening week. General Castiron, the spokesperson for Rontvia's biggest music chain, Rontmusic, said 'this is completely unprecedented, we had to order in triple the stock that we were anticipating. We were expecting it to be huge as it includes so many of the country's biggest ever hits but to sell 260,000 CDs and almost 200,000 downloads is unheard of.' An international release will take place first in Ashton, Numayania and Kopecka on Monday June 20th and across the rest of The Buzzjack World on June 27th. Ashton pre-order figures place it 2nd currently behind Keisha Buchanan's TBC release, #1 on their pre-order chart since she was sacked from the Sugababes. The Federal Republic's music regulators have requested that in lieu of Lykke Li's track Varsta Schalgern, a massive number one in the country, be placed on the physical CD.



The Ashton Media Corporation has confirmed that it is currently number two on the pre-order charts with some 33.5m copies pre-ordered, some way short of the right honourable Lady Keisha Buchanan's 458.98m pre-orders for her debut album.

'FSR Rontvia: The Ultimate Collection' is expected to do well in the Tinnmarkian chart "VG-listí Topp Tjuge" when it's released on 27th of June. Reason is that artists like Mira Craig, Maria Haukaas Storeng and Anna Abreu is all featuring in the album.

but this comes just one week after 'Tinske MGP Hits' will be released on 20th of June, who will win the battle of the chart?

According to JuranaSun, Early reports suggest that it's only #23 in the Juranabaijan compilation pre-order chart. Hasn't even scraped the Top 200 overall albums.

The regulators are thrilled to hear Varsta Schalgern will be on the physical CD as that still counts for some 90% of music purchases in Ashton.

'FSR Rontvia: The Ultimate Collection' sales steady despite lack of pre-independence chart hits

'FSR Rontvia: The Ultimate Collection', a compilation of the best entries from FSR Rontvia will be released in Caerfyrddia on June 27th. Pre-order sales have been steady with around 2,800 sales (21% of the population). However, the compilation has received some criticism due to the lack of pre-independent Caerfyrddian favourites such as Caroline Jonsson, Vincent and the former Uchaf 75 number one hit, Driving by Thermostatic.

Chief executive of Caer-Pop records, Llyr Davies, said of the omissions; "Although we understand the entries in question were not amongst the most successful for Rontvia, we are weary of the disappointment amongst the music buying public of our nation."

He continued, "That said, we generally feel the quality of this compilation is of a very high standard and expect it to sell well".

The compilation, which will retail at £9.99, features all the major Rontvian successes and former Caerfyrddian top 2 hit, Kongulo by Hafdis Huld will be available as a bonus track on iTunes. The compilation is currently #2 on the pre-order chart behind the forthcoming sophomore release from Katzenjammer.

Rumours of a mini compilation to celebrate 10 appearances of Caerfyrddia in BJSC have been confirmed as false, however Caer-Pop records have not ruled out releasing collections related to the contest in the future.

Pre-orders for the new collection, to be released a week later, have already overtaken that of the standard album out today in Ashton. Pre-Orders have already totalled 75.2m compared to the first day sales and pre-orders of 57.18m of the standard album.

Naturally, Lykke Li will be omitted from CD2 and Andreas from CD1.

Värsta Schlagern will be a CD1 Bonus track to replace Andreas and Smack Me a CD2 Bonus track to replace Lykke Li.

Pre-order record smashed

The record for CD pre-order sales in Caerfyrddia, previously held by The Modern has been smashed today after a double disc edition of 'FSR Rontvia: The Ultimate Collection' was announced. Around 9,300 (equivalent to 71% of the population) copies have been ordered in less than 24 hours.

Llyr Davies, Chief Executive of Caer-Pop records said; "We are extremely pleased by the decision from Rontvia to make a deluxe edition of their compilation available to our nation, and based on the sales so far, it seems the population of our small country is overjoyed too!"

Rontvia are very pleased with the feedback and pre-order figures coming through for the double disc edition and hope that more countries will release their compilations in the near future as they are sure to be successful here, compilations still accounting for a huge 46% of album sales in the nation. The current #1 compilation in the country is of course 'FSR Rontvia: The Ultimate Collection' whilst #2, having sold 284,500 copies in its 2nd week, is 'Now That's What I Call Hits 94' featuring BJSC entries from Eric Amarillo, Agnes Obel, Brittany McDonald, Chart Music and Those Dancing Days as well as hits from Ed Sheeran, Take That and Katy Perry.

Federal Forces anex Dr. Bombay's Tigerland


Earlier this evening the Ashton National Guard stormed the presidential compound of Dr. Bombay and executed him. The Federal Government had grown tired of Dr Bombay's Tigerland harbouring Ecoterrorists with anti-Ashton agenda's and their failure to compensate the victims of Flight 622TGA, the Tiger Air flight that was blown up near the City of Morpeth Cove whilst en-route to New England Harbour.

Following an Air and naval strike lasting 3months ground troops invaded the country last week advancing quickly to the capital. Following the execution of the president, the Federal Republic formerly announced the annexing of Dr Bombay's Tigerland. The impoverished nations citizen's welcomed the news hoping that Ashton can bring prosperity to the nation.

The Emperor of Ashton announced that the new territory would be part of mainland Ashton, known locally as 'East Ashton' and be home to four new as yet unnamed states. It would appear on a map in a similar fashion to European Russia, separated from the mainland by Willand & Offran and Botanikka.


In other news Ashtonise occupation of Botanikkan island territory is on going with the border between the two countries on the mainland remaining open in just three places.

I in English is always capitalised when it's on it's own. Can not are two words, not one. Also English is a proper noun and is thus always capitalised.

This ongoing war has been dull for the most part. At least use some descriptive phrases or terms to enlighten the entire process up. Tinnmark become 4th nation to obtain visa-free entry to Ashton

After Tone Damli Aaberge, Queen of Ashton and Tinnmark, stormed to second in BJSC XLI the Ashtonise goverment have announced that citizens of Tinnmark will be allowed to enter the country without a visa.


Tinnmark is the fourth country to get free movement within Ashton after Kopecka, FSR Rontvia and Numayania. As with the existing three countries, any one with a criminal conviction must still apply for a visa to visit the Federal Republic and those wishing to permanently emigrate may apply for a residency visa at a substantially reduced price (A$H100 instead of A$H1,500). Citizenship/dual-nationality is available to the four countries after just 4 years compared to the next lowest wait of 10 years.

The move comes after the two countries entered into a Union of Crowns.

The Sangrian national broadcaster (SRTV) announced that a BJSC - Best of Sangria CD will coming out in next week when the semifinals of the 42nd BJ Song Contest will begin. It will include the greatest Sangrian hits in the BuzzJack world and somegreat but unfortunately flopping songs. There will be 4 bonus tracks on the album: the current Sangrian entry and Sangria's 3 favourite songs from the BJSC history.

Queen Tone of Tinnmark and Ashton invited Silas Áskorza to Tinnmark

Queen Tone have today invited Silas Áskorza, Ashton's and maybe the world's most powerful man. He is the dictator of The Federal Republic of Ashton, and is also the Head of BJSC Selection Committee and Head of BJSC Voting Committee. The Tinnmarkian prime minister Erik André Åsnes could today announce that Ashton have been awarded a small part of our country, called The Federal Ashtonese Colony of Tinnmark. It includes the city of Morpætt Vik, with 12.834.923 inhabitans. About 87% of them are from, or have one or more close relatives who comes from Ashton. This is the main reason why Queen Tone invites Silas, to participate at the celebration of the new colony. Last time a country have owned a colony in Tinnmark, was in 1436 when Elëdan claimed 1/2 of Tinnmark, which was already then a part of the Espen-Tinnmarkian Union.

That's the reason we celebrate our national day the 26th of May, our independence from Espen and Elëdan.

Silas Áskorza have not yet replied to the invitation from Queen Tone.

Ashtonise Emperor to head to Tinnmark


Emperor Silas Áskorza has accepted Queen Tone Damli of the TinAsh Union's invitation to be present at the celebration of the inauguration of Den Førderale Astonske Koloni av Tinnmark. A spokesmen for the Federal Government gave this statement: "It is a great honour to be granted this colony on Tinorsk soil and we look forward to working with the Tinnmark authorities to provide the highest possible quality of life for Ashtonise ex-pats and their families. All non-Ashtonise citizens in the Koloni will be granted immediate dual Tinorsk-Áskorzajn nationality. The Federal Government of Ashton has hopes that the Tinnmark Government will grant dual nationality to those Ashtonise citizens who are yet to obtain it."

The Federal Government has also confirmed that there will be a Tinnmark colony on Ashton's northern coast in the state of Cairndale. The city of Tørvåkk with 11.7m inhabitants will form the centre point of the new territory. 'Den Koloni Republikken Tinorsk am Republique d'Áskorza' will have a total of 15.8m residents with dual nationality. The Federal Government has made the condition that Áskorzajn remains an officially recognised language of the territory on par with Norsk (Bokmål). The new Ashtonise colony in Tinnmark will have Áskorzajn and Norsk as officially recognised languages with English, Svenska and Dansk as supported languages.

According to some local newspapers and magazines the Sangrian BJSC Comittee is planning to send a Hungarian artist to the next contest. The current contest is still at the semi finals stage but the media has just started to write about the possibly entry of next month. Is it a leak or just rumours?

"We have an information: if Gabrielle will be in the top 10 of this contest the comittee will send a Hungarian song to the next one. It's easier for them to send a risky entry after a good result. We're quite sure that the song is going to be not just from a Hungrian artist but it will be sung in Hungarian." (HoTTalk, Sangrian gossip magazine)

The BJSC Comittee have sent 5 Hungarian acts to the contest but only one of them were in Hungarian, the debut entry of the country back in BJSC 6 - NOX: Ébredj fel! In BJSC 40 (our return to the contest) Renáta Tolvai and Gergő Rácz represented Sangria and they achieved 13th place with 'Can't Let You Go'

The Sangrian BJSC Comittee is very doubtful about the country's next entry. They've announced if Gabrielle will be in the top10 they will send a Hungarian song. Gabrielle came 10th in the 42nd contest so they are considering to do this. But the majority of the country think that the song won't do well in BJSC although it is very well-loved in Sangria.

The comittee decided to present the song on SRTV1 tonight to see some international reaction. Then they will have the time to rethink it and find another possible entry.

Ashton's monthly Immigration Law update

The Federal Government has announced today that citizens and nationals of Ramrynia and ChrIsland have had their visa's, residency and citizenship stripped and have 48hrs to leave the Federal Republic before the Ashtonise Federal Police and Ímmilagrati Áskorza will start deporting those who remain. After a week those who still haven't left will be imprisoned in accordance with the Removal and Treatment of The Illegal Non-Ashtonise Act (1392). The two nations have now officially been placed on the Ashtonise Immigration Black List.

As far as I recall there remain like TEN nations that aren't on either a Black or Shoot-on-sight list. Thankfully Elëdan are safe SO FAR, even if annually there's only roughly 23 Elëdanese citizens visiting/living in Ashton. Umiiruka Emerges from Dark Days of Dictatorship

Following growing public descent, "Dear Leader" K'Ronikka, dictator of the country for three years since she seized power in a bloody coup in 2009, resigned from her post several days ago. The resignation prompted huge public debate over how K'Ronikka would be dealt with, being wanted in several countries (most notably Daehun) for warcrimes, most significantly the murder of four million citizens of Uurnikook. However, it has come to light that in return for her relinquishing of control over the country, K'Ronikka asked for (and received) immunity for her crimes. The country's former leader will now lead a free life in Umiiruka, although it is unknown exactly where she will stay.

Following the resignation, Umiiruka's newly democratic populace needed a leader. A hastily thrown together presidential election just finished, and the results are as follows:

1. Federica Pellegrini: 27.25%
2. Xavier Dolan: 25.375%
3. Camille Muffat: 24.125%
4. Coralie Balmy: 23.25%

A narrow contest, unsurprisingly considering there was virtually no time for any campaign, but Federica Pellegrini of Region 6 prevailed. Ímmilagrati Áskorza release annual Immigration stats and law updates

Ímmilagrati Áskorza has for the first time today released a list of all the nations on the Immigration Black List in addition to it's usual statistics. ÍÁ in association with the AFIA (Ashtonise Federal Intelligence Agency), the AFP (Ashton Federal Police), Dsénjå Áskorza (Ashton Customs) and local law enforcement performed 20,189 raids on businesses and 39,101 residential raids leading to the capture of 39,938 illegal immigrants and 481 persons arrested under suspicion of human trafficking.

Ímmilagrati Áskorza and Governa Republique d'Áskorza have today announced that all inbound cargo ships are to be searched and that all cargo containers are to be subject to increased scrutiny.

Of the nearly 40,000 illegal immigrants, 27 have been granted leave to remain in Ashton after it was discovered they were victims of a scam targeting migrants whose visa was due to expire but wished to remain in Ashton legally. The Federal Republic of Ashton does not execute minors. In addition to this any families discovered on an IBL raid are automatically exempt from execution even if the youngest family member is no longer a minor.

All 48 that have been executed were using false identities to evade detection and attempt to gain work in the Government as part of a terrorist plot.

The two nations, who have previously engaged in a cold war that involved the mobilisation of troops, have signed a treaty to co-operate on economic and political matters including an important intelligence sharing committee. The Buzzjack world's sole dictatorships have decided to combine their efforts on Ramryanian terrorism and other emerging threats that may appear.

Emperor Áskorza had this to say: "Today we sign an important treaty with a nation who we have had the great pleasure of increasing our co-operation with over recent years. Following previous disputes with the nation this treaty is landmark amongst the Buzzjack world."

Emperor Áskorza tours Altyr Muunlinst




Chancellor Baranski has had the great pleasure today to announce that our new ally Emperor Áskorza of the Federal Republic of Ashton will be making a brief, but historic, 3 day trip to Altyr Muunilinst later this month as a sign of the trust between our two great nations, despite our history. The Emperor's itinerary will include a lavish state dinner (pictured above is the Imperial Banquet Hall where the event will take place) with all the great and good of Altyr present. Tours of Darpabrak's historic quarter will follow and the trip will be concluded with a National Holiday on March 22nd to coincide with the festivities surrounding Altyr's 20th anniversary in the contest. Queen Tone Damli Aaberge of Tinnmark and Ashton recive the Núbleé Peace Prize 2013



The Queen recive the prize for her work with helping poor Bokian children. Since the border closed between Tinnmark and Bokia in March 2009, alot of Bokians have illegally immigrated to Tinnmark. Thousands of them are children who have been working illegal in Tinnmarkian factories along the borderline, children as young as 5 years old have been reported working in a factory who makes toys for 'Toys R not for poors'. Bokia went bankrupt after they used the country's financials to win BJSC XIV, which ended at last place in the semi finals.

Kathaldazian newspaper, KTDZ Mirror, has reported that the country has recovered from an on-going financial depression and will make their belated BJSC comeback in the forthcoming contest.

Unlike previous attempted comebacks, this one has received substantial backing from the country's government, resuliting in new relations with several South African recording artists and groups, tipped to represent KTDZ in BJSC.

However, concern has been raised with regard to Kathaldazia's relations with other BJSC countries, KTDZ's long absence from the contest has resulted in them having a now non-existant relationship with previous allies and the country would like to recindle these relationships with a peace treaty set to have a mutual benefit for both Kathaldazia and its relations.

Emperor of Elëdan, Lee, have flown to the capital of Kathaldazia to meet with the President and discuss the possibilities of resuming partnerships between two countries, including mutual promotion of Kathaldazian and Elëdanese BJSC artists. Lee has also stated in the press conference held on July 1st that "[Elëdan] are happy to have Kathaldazia back on their feet. Due to the close nature of the relationship between our countries Elëdan are willing to reduce Kathaldazia's debt by 80% especially seeing that the economy in the country still hasn't restored completely although stabilised".

After financial crisis hit Kathaldazia, Elëdan had to put on hold all the ongoing projects with the country most of which have now become obsolete.

Federal Forces Rescue Elen Levon from Ramrynia

*BREAKING NEWS*

A Federal Black-Ops division has successfully rescued Ashtonise star Elen Levon from captivity in Ramrynia. Elen went missing from her holiday in the Kluminican Republic before appearing on stage for Ramrynia a few months after placing second for the Federal Republic with the sublime 'Like A Girl In Love'.

Earlier plans by the Federal Republic to Liberate Elen from captivity to represent Ashton in LVI were ruined when she was forced to appear for Ramrynia for a second time in BJFestivalen. An event that saw the Federal Assembly recalled for an emergency vote at 1am on a declaration of war. Following a random.org assisted failure at the Heats Elen was moved to a secure location in Cherry Tree City. Last night the Black-Ops team staged a rescue mission using tranquilliser darts instead of bullets to avoid a major diplomatic incident.

A spokeswoman for the Federal Ashtonise Armed Forces described the mission as 'textbook' and the soldiers involved a credit to their families and the nation.

The Emperor is said to be delighted that an Ashtonise national has been rescued from captivity in a hostile territory and has said that Elen will be recuperating from her ordeal at the Royal Palace.


Earlier this evening Elen made her first public appearance in Ashton for 14 months to perform a special acoustic version of 'Like A Girl In Love', her second place BJSC XLII smash hit.

In the latest wave of social reforms to hit Altyr in the last few months Supreme Chancellor Baranski has today outlawed production, distribution and public consumption of all forms of dance music, particularly EDM. In a bid to both remove such toxic filth from the airwaves and remove the anti-social behaviours associated with excessive consumption of said 'music'.

Altyr Muunlinst added to Danaelanda's blacklisted countries

All flights and boat trips to the country of Altyr Muunlinst have been cancelled and all trade stopped as a form of protest against the country's new policy banning DJs from performing there. They are the first country to be added to the blacklist.

Morpeth Regional Assembly votes to merge the cities airports

With growth in demand far outstripping capacity at Ashton International Airport and Morpeth Cove International Airport the Morpeth Regional Assembly has approved plans to merge the cities 12 airports and create 4 super hubs and one private airfield. The Superhubs will be connected via a high speed underground rail line with one train per 3 minutes at peak times. The High Speed Airport line will link with the cities 3 major transportation hubs, Ashton International Rail Station, City of Morpeth Transport Plaza and Central Morpeth Cove Station.

The 5 new airports have been announced as:

Ashton International Airport (AIA) - Major upgrade including 4 new runways and 6 new terminal buildings to take the total to 8 and 10 respectively.
Morpeth Cove International Airport (MCI) - Recently expanded airport will gain 2 runways in 10 years time and another 3 terminals to take the total to 6 and 8 respectively.
Morpeth Regional Airport (MRA) - Located at the southern tip of the Morpeth Region this airport will be expanded from it's 1&1 operation to feed demand from the southern part of the city, territory and SE Sanvoria. 3 new runways and 5 terminals are expected to be built over the next decade. It is expected to be the budget airlines airport of choice for the city.
City of Morpeth Airport - (MOR) - Private Airfield at the heart of the city located near MCI in the bay of Morpeth. This will gain a larger terminal and an extra runway to cope with business demand in the centre of the city.
Morpeth Cove Domestic Airport (MCD) - Part of the MCI plaza, this will gain it's own airfield on reclaimed land on the south side of the bay with 6 terminals and 4 runways. It is expected that the first aircraft will depart from it's new site in 2019 allowing the current MCD to close for the expansion of MCI.

The closing airports are:

Upper Morpeth Private Airfield (UPM)
Morpeth Heights Airport (MOH)
Morpeth City Airport (MCA) - Passenger Terminal that shares runway with MOR.
Cove City Airport (CCA)
Ashton Domestic Air Interchange (ADA) - Operations, routes and runways are being absorbed into AIA which it shares a plaza with.
Morpeth Federal Airport (MFA) - Built to commemorate Federation. Currently used as a budget airline hub with one very old terminal this will be returned to the Federal Air Force of Ashton.
Morpeth Cove (Havenja) Airport (HVJ) - Budget airport 20 miles from city at southern most tip of Rd'ÁC. Being replaced by an expanded MRA.

Flights for this years TBO final, to be held in Morpeth Cove, are expected to be unaffected by the change and passengers are advised that delays are likely when arriving into AIA or MCI due to their running at 100% capacity. The Federal Government advises all TBO SF travellers to travel to the recently expanded and upgraded Santryan International Airport and use the nations domestic transport network for their onward journey to the final.
