How is it compiled? I’m really puzzled to see all these number ones. This should mean she’s a massive club star in USA?

I think it is based on data supplied by DJs, but specifically what clubs are included, I'm unsure. I would have thought Kylie would have more US success if it was a representation of all clubs.

Basically yes, all the artists geared towards the gays does well on the Billboard dance chart (Lady Gaga, Britney etc.,)

Sometimes I think those DJs (for Billboard's club charts) are kind of old-fashioned. This week Crystal Waters, Lisa Stansfield and Kim Wilde are on the charts, don't think their current singles are really played in many clubs anywhere else.

Sooooooo happy to see both @JKCorden & Benedict Cumberbatch! ❤️ Tune in to the @latelateshow tonight at 12.35am on CBS to see some chat and a performance of Dancing! 💃🏼

Performed 'Dancing' on James Corden. Seems like that is the main song getting a push in the US.

But to be honest she has been there a week and the album seems to have done absolutely nothing. She had some biggish promo slots but ...... She probably could have done 8-10 European countries in that time and pushed it

She still has some US fans though and it must have been nice for them to see so much of Kylie, more than they're probably used to. It's a shame as well as a bit odd it has had no effect at least on iTunes though.

Yep... I just don't think Dancing works live..... SMFF does.

Just heard Dancing on Lorraine today and sounds great as a backing music to a fashion item......

I actually think maybe Golden for US promo would have worked better......

Performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden:

I agree that 'Stop Me From Falling' generally seems to translate much better live, although I think this performance of 'Dancing' is one of the better ones.

It's just bland though.

It's time Dancing is given up now and move on. 15 other tracks

If they did record one, it would air at a later date presumably as I imagine there's a lot of editing involved.

In my head, a Carpool Karaoke would be fantastic, but thinking about it properly, I don't know if there's enough Kylie songs for the wider US audience to recognise and, because of that, the Carpool wouldn't reach its full potential and they'd probably stick someone more known in the US in the back seat who would take up a chunk of the airtime. It's a shame because Kylie's personality would be perfect for it and she has so many great, happy sing-along classics.

'Dancing' is not bland. GET OUT.

Of course she's gonna perform that in the US if that's the main song they're going with.

As I said before she needed more than a week here to break the album - many established acts spend months doing every bit of promo given to them but I understand why Kylie wouldn’t want to do it. It was however lovely for her to come to the States (And will be coming back again in June) she was super accommodating and apart from NBC she stopped and had pictures and signed each time.

Her promo has not been ‘biggish’ tbh -

Late Night With Seth - Midnight chat show
Build - Internet only chat show
Good Morning America - Probably the biggest of the 3 but certainly not a platform to shift albums/singles alone

The James Cordon show is popular and I’m sure that’s what attracted Kylie’s team to heading over here.

BMG know that a decent selling US album could boost their profits significantly for this campaign so fair play to them for even trying. Just disappointed it only managed #64 after KMO went Top 30.

The general US public seem to remember her most for the Loco-motion and CGYOOMH so you’re right, certainly not enough for Carpool.

Hopefully she can now focus on her main market: Europe.
