The fourth edition of National Album Day is taking place Saturday October 16, and honours the art of the album. And that is why Madonna is the Queen of Pop nearly 40 years on.....
I wonder how close the numbers were between 1 & 2. Was Madonna the most played Female Artist of the 80's and '90's ? |

Awesome! I wonder which song of hers was played the most during that period. Could it be Hung Up? I'd say so, yeah - it was #1 on radio for 8 weeks and has continued to receive good airplay since. 'Music', 'Sorry' and '4 Minutes' were all big radio hits too, even 'Don't Tell Me' reached #1. Then of course there's so much of her pre-century back catalogue to consider. |
