#39 One Direction - One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)



So 1D are the next to go out. Unsurprisingly this got a lot of hate on Buzzjack not just because it's a boyband single but because it's a cover of a Blondie classic which goes into a pointless Teenage Kicks segment in the middle eight. It truly is terrible and arguably their worst song ever.

I pretty much loathe 'White Noise' too, despite loving both artists involved individually. There's much worse offenders on this list though.

'Somewhere Only We Know'.

I hate when these John Lewis adverts air on T.V and butcher a well known classic.

This is up there with 'Run', 'Cannonball' and 'Waterfalls' as the most pointless and rubbish cover ever recorded.

It most certainly is! The original is fine but this is a terrible cover version, and it also shows that a vocalist she really is not so she shouldn't try and sing.
