Back when the OCC still compiled a main top 200 Singles chart, 'Alone' by Alan Walker spent just two weeks on the chart. Entered the chart published on 20/01/17 at number 195, climbed to 193 the following week and then dropped off the chart.

Guess it’s just been steadily accumulating then! I think its chart run would have been longer if it wasn’t for the Christmas songs in its opening weeks as it was released in early December. Anyhow, seems to be a much more popular song than its chart performance suggested!

'Wish You Were Here' is another addition to the list of platinum songs that never went top 40 (I thought it would have been another one that never even went top 100 but it did have a week at #68 in 2012, same week the cover by Ed Sheeran et al. from the Olympics went top 40).
